   We ate here before heading over to Eccles theater for a show. After reading other reviews, I was worried that the food may take awhile and make us late for the show but when we got there, We got seated right away. When the waiter came to our table, we let him know that we needed to be done in an hour. He took our orders right away and we were done within 45 minutes. The food was good. Nothing super amazing. The waiter was on top of it. He stopped by throughout our dinner to make sure we were doing okay. This was a great place to go to before the show.

   Completely negative experience. Referred by our hotel. Sat for 12 minutes before even greeted by server for water. Downhill after that. Chicken marsala almost unbeatable. My wife had a pasta dish that was okay. Server raced by once to ask if everything was ok but didn’t even stay long enough for answer. . Server brought our check but never even came back for the credit card. I had to give to another server

   They blamed being understaffed but the restaurant was barely busy, especially for a Saturday night. Now I know why. Took 25 minutes to get drinks and another 15 to get bread and water. Then another 30 minutes for 5 of 6 entrees. Another 10 minutes to get the last entree, which was for the birthday girl. Appetizer never showed up. Lastly my chicken didn’t taste right. We won’t be returning.

   Brio was a nice dinner for us before going to a concert. The food was very good. My only complaints were with the service. The server was very terse and matter-of-fact. she often asked questions, but didn't wait for an answer. And ALL of our items came out at the same time. We ordered an appetizer, a salad and entre's and they came all at one time. Although I appreciated the fast service, it would have been nice to eat our two appetizers before our hot meal came out. The service issue is not enough to keep me away, but the food made up for it.

   Had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch at Brio. My mother loves Tuscan/Italian flavors and I love that Brio offers such great options for food. We had a great time and loved the food. We did have to send one of our appetizers back as the crostini was inedible but they fixed it and it was delicious! Love that they do reservations for special occasions, highly recommend!

   The quality of food has gone down significantly. Our experience reminded us why we stopped going to Brio. 3 of the 5 desserts were inedible. The main courses were served Luke-warm at best and simply weren’t great - just average. I can go elsewhere and get better food for less money. We won’t be back.

    They were very accommodating when I called that we were running a few minutes late. During the called they said they would make it special as it was a birthday celebration for our Goddaughter. There wasn’t even an acknowledgment that there was a birthday happening which was very disappointing. It is a lovely restaurant and our main meals were good. The Calamari starter was quite tough and over cooked. If it had not been a birthday celebration I would have sent it back. Our server was very nice but we did feel very rushed at the end of our meal. The restaurant had gotten busier and they may have been short staffed. I would give them a second chance if returning to the area and hopefully have a better experience.

    It was a great place for a date, our table was kinda small for our group I feel like but it was still chill, I did find a huge piece of hair in my bread which was kinda weird but I’m sure it was an anomaly, the food was super good, our server was awesome, and it was a great place for a date!

    My experience with this restaurant's service was extremely disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being busy, our waiter forgot our bisque, didn't refill our water, and neglected to clear our dishes. When it came time to pay, we had to go to the hostess desk, but she was unable to assist us because the waiter had to run our card himself. I did not expect this level of poor service from this restaurant and cannot recommend it to others.

    I was very disappointed in this experience. In fact, many people were. Most (if not all) of the parties I arrived at around the same time with had made reservations. However, it was clear that BRIO was either understaffed or poorly managed. I love having dinner here before Broadway shows at the Eccles, but if the restaurant cannot figure out a way to accommodate the increase in business, I won't return.

    We got in quickly with our reservation. Waitress was attentive and got us bread and water. Our food came out quickly. I ordered the chicken caprese and I have never had such dry chicken in. my. life. It was almost inedible. My husband, however, ordered the Gorgonzola beef that was delicious. You win some, you lose some I guess.

    Gabriel, our server, was awesome. Timely service, polite and checked back often. The wedge salad was "ice cold" served on a chilled plate. My bar order was perfect. My friend and I split "Chicken Limone", which we often order prior to an evening at the Eccles, Unfortunately, the chicken was tough and gristly and difficult to cut and even worse to try to chew. We told our waiter and he said he would pass the information on to the cook. We were very surprised as we have never had bad food at the Brio Italian Grille.

    We made reservations in advance and were seated quickly with no problem. But service was very bad. It took a very long time to get our food, an hour and a half and most of us had soup and salad. Very disappointed in the amount of time it took. Others that were seated after us got their food way before us so it was not an issue with the kitchen. Ones that did order a meal were not impressed with their dish. Would not recommend going here unfortunately.

    We had a very large group and was accommodated with two large tables. The staff was friendly and nice. We came in from out of town for a volleyball tournament and if we come back next year I will book it for our team and parents again.

    The manager found us to apologize that the welcome young lady was a bit snippy toward us as we asked for a quiet tablet because I have a hearing issue. I did not complain but the manager observed it himself. I. knew she was not typical of Brio because I have eaten there many times. Our waiter was very nice. It wasn’t necessary as I told the manager but he gave us an appetizer on the house.

    I am grateful for the staff on working with me in being able to adjust my reservation to an earlier time, despite being busy. I enjoy the private room my group had to enjoy our dinner. The food was great, and the service was good for a busy night. I know if I want a nice sit down Italian place while I’m in SLC with other guests, I would choose this place.
