We had a reservation for Saturday evening at 5:30pm with friends from out of town. We have been there many times and have always enjoyed it. This time due to Hurricane I tried calling the restaurant to verify that they were going to be open I started at 9am all I ever got got was number was not working using my Mobile Phone and My Landline all I got was a busy signal. This went on all day and finally we decided to just go ahead and head to restaurant. We got there only to find out it was closed. No e-mail, no phone call, no message on phone or website. This was extremely poor decisions to not notify all reservation holders.
Our server was great! Cauliflower appetizer was very tasty. My shrimp and lobster fettuccine was very flavorful, but too heavy with garlic and could have used more seafood. My wife ordered the halibut daily special. The fish was dry and definitely not worth the $41 price tag, which we were not told of and only learned when the bill arrived. We'll be much more cautious about that in the future.
Excellent service and excellent food
Definitely I will recommend this great Restaurant
Great food great location everyone in my group raved about this place.
The service was so so. Brought wine and found out there was corking fee. Was told $10 by the waitress then was charge $15. Plates needed to removed before next course.
Salmon over cooked. CA prices waitress OK
Very nice and meal was very good. Excellent option for a team business lunch. Got reservations for my software team to celebrate project milestone. I think the guys really enjoyed the meal and surroundings.
We were seated in one of the back more private rooms as we had a larger group. This was great as we could all hear each other and it was a quieter atmosphere! The food was excellent! Our server was very nice, but the service was incredibly slow. We had to ask for bread after having been sat for a while without being offered the chance to order appetizers and had to request water refills after being out for a while. This was not my normal experience as typically service is very prompt at this restaurant. Hopefully next time will be better because the food is very good.
Loved everything about my visit. The wait staff was nice and the food was great.
Our reservation was for 7:00. We were seated quickly, served drinks and ordered. Salads and cocktails were served promptly with the exception of one person whose appetizer did not arrive at all.! Our entree’s did not appear for more than an hour after the salads. We asked our to see the manager several times and watched as our server spoke with her. However, the manager ignored his request, Finally she came to our table and placed the blame on the server. Brio was a favorite of our group however we will not return after this terrible experience .
Had terrible bad experience. Food was oily and smelly.
Flies getting all over. No one cared to take our orders. We had to ask for everything.
Except the valet parking. It was bad overall.
Will never go or recommend 👎👎
Always love going back to Brio. The shrimp and eggplant appetizer is the best appetizer in Charlotte!
Our waitress, Jessica -- very nice -- helpful and accommodating.
One of the best patios EVER.
Another great experience.
Slow Service even though we requested a Fast Service area when seated. Valet lost my Mercedes Benz Keys!
Server was very inattentive. Food wasn’t bad. But seeing the majority of the kitchen staff without hair restraints was very off putting for an open kitchen.
It was my bday and we got the whole back room. Service, food and ambiance was outstanding!! Thank you for making my bday with family and friends so very enjoyable and memorable!!
We have been here several times and have always enjoyed the food. This time was no exception. Everything was great but our server must have been a new hire because he couldn't answer any of our questions, including ones such as what the soup of the day was. Overall it was still a pleasant experience.
tried for family dinner during restaurant week was just terrific!!
The food was amazing. The singer in the bar area was a little too loud but I will definitely visit again.
We were there for my dads birthday... hostesses were very kind and asked who’s birthday it was. Once we were sat, we were greeted by a server, he didn’t say a word and just poured water. He quickly left while we were speaking upon ourselves. Throughout the night our server changed THREE times. At one point I didn’t know who our server was.
The food was good as always.
Food was very good, service was slow and sporadic. We sat on the patio where it was nice and relaxing, enjoying quiet conversation.... that is, until they decided to prop open the door to the bar, where the band was blaring! The noise level at that point was excessive, and it became difficult to hear our own conversations without yelling.
Fantastic Food... incredible waitress!! She received and deserved the 23% gratuity I gave. Great Experience...Great Filet!!! Thanks! 😋
Very good meal, with excellent service from Cody. Was our first time and was very enjoyable.
Great dinner and great service! We were celebrating my mother's birthday and she loved it! We loved our entrees and the desserts (definitely recommend both the Tiramisu and the Caramel Cheesecake!) Also loved the cocktails we ordered. Everything was delicious! Can't wait to return to try out other items on the menu.
Had a chance to visit for the Queen’s Feast!
Special menu had nice selections! The 6 oz filet was cooked perfectly and sooooo tender. Added lobster tail was great and the Cabernet was smooth! The dessert was great too. Perfect meal for an evening out with friends!!!
This was our first time eating at Brio's and we were very impressed. Loved the ambiance and the cuisine. We went for restaurant week but the food is very affordable and we will be back.
Brio never disappoints. Good food, good service, and noise level low enough that guests can have a conversation. One of my "go to" restaurants for out of town guests and business friends.
We had the scallops and they were absolutely excellent. They were on the menu for restaurant week but I highly recommend that they keep the scallops on the menu all year around
Excellent service, our waitress was polite, pleasant and attentive. I moved to Charlotte, NC recently from South Florida where I have eaten many times at Brio Tuscan Grille. The complementary bread and crackers, the shrimp and eggplant appetizer and the lamb chop dinner was delicious! The Creme Brulee...Yummy! Dined on a Saturday night around 8:00 pm, a live band was playing in the bar with vibrant crowd. The music from the bar flowed through the restaurant but was not too loud that we could not have a conversation. Will definitely return and recommend this restaurant.
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to others
The food was great, the server was very nice and knowledgeable, refilled glasses just in time, and let us sit there and talk for at least an hour after dinner with no suggestions that we leave. The restaurant was about half full, but it was very quiet. Doesn’t happen in restaurants these days and it was a welcome change. Valet service for car was appreciated. Will be back.
Had a great time celebrating a friend’s birthday. Food was good & service was great. My salmon was average. However, my husband had the lamb chops & they were awesome. Also, the pork chops & crab cakes were tasty. The peach sangria was delicious!
I came with with my husband and my parents and we were seated towards with back with maybe one more room after the section we were in. The music from the bar played throughout the restaurant and my step-father LOVED the music.
We ordered beef carpaccio and the burrata app to share and my husband and I each had the Della Casa salad (no pasta crisps on top for me). The carpaccio was served with excellent presentation and was delicious. While he burrata was a pretty plate, the portion was significantly less Wow-worthy. The burrata tasted good and the fresh basil accompanying it was tasty. The salads were tasty but small portions.
We ordered a Meioma (sp?) Pinot noir to share which was delicious and they let us use a decanter to aerate the bottle faster.
For entrees, I had the lamb chops rare and while they were cooked nicely (some less rare than others) the Marsala sauce was sooooo salty it took away from the dish. It was also very hard to cut off of the bone in a bowl, so I think a plate would be better serving style. My husband had the fettuccine (or linguine?) with lobster and shrimp. He said the pasta was fresh, meal was delicious, but he portion seemed small. My mom had the 9oz center cut steak and loved it. My step-father had double cut pork chops and loved them. We substituted a lot of sides like roasted potatoes instead of mashed and I was not impressed with the roasted potatoes. I also substituted broccoli for asparagus and was unimpressed because it looked like it was poured from a bag of frozen veggies, unseasoned.
Our server was excellent. (I believe her name was Amanda.) She took our loud group and laughed with us, and she was very friendly and efficient.
Overall a good experience with a few flaws that could improve overall. It’s likely we will come back again!
Great spot to meet up with friends for lunch! We had Lobster Bisque (a bit strong and rich), Kale Salad (perfect!), Eggplant Parmesan and Grilled Balsamic Chicken for $30.
Wr were a group of 15 people and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and the great service provided by the wait staff.
Attentive service. Very good food. Drinks fairly priced.
We waited over 1 hr for our food. Which wasn’t that taste at all. Also the kids food came after ours and I can’t understand why kids chicken fingers should take over an hour to be ready and not 6 min like usually does. The music was extremely loud. That was on a Wednesday night.
food is always good. always so cold in that restaurant though
Had my dads birthday dinner here last minute and it was amazing. Our server was awesome, i can’t remember his name. He was African American & wears glasses, we were sitting near the kitchen. He made the experience worth while!
I had requested a quieter spot since I was bringing my 97 and 93 year old parents and the restaurant accommodated us beautifully. Very nice wait staff.
