BRIO - Charlotte - Piedmont
You can sip and savor your way through the week at Brio! Mondays we offer $2.50 Bar Bites from 3:30 to 6:30 in the bar. Tuesdays you can whine a little with Half-Off Bottled Wine ($75 or less). Wednesdays are meant for cocktail infusions, they are just $5 all day.
One of my favorite restaurants to go to. Service was a bit disappointing this night but the assistant manager Diana Logan well made up for it. She was exceptional and we appreciated all her efforts.
Great service! Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Good! Chicken was fatty and dry but everything else was really good!
My family loves to come here and love the great food and atmosphere, the service is always spectacular.
I am glad Brios went back to original menu. Service was great. Food delicious and the price is right.
Cleanliness was a slight issue for my experience. There was a fallen insect on the table, once brought to the hostess' attention...she brushed it off unto the floor with her hand and proceeded to place dining menus in front of us. Once the waiter came to the table, he returned with two glasses of water, but one glass had leftover food residue on it. The unclean glass was brought to the waiter's attention and a new one was brought to the table.
Always have a good meal at Brio. And it's so easy to get in.
The food here was really subpar for the prices. Sauces were not flavorful and service wasn’t great even though it wasn’t very busy for a Friday evening. We will not be returning.
Great place to catch up with friends! We had a wonderful time!
Of all my years coming to Brio this was the first time I was disappointed. I picked this restaurant for my birthday dinner with friends.. The food was under seasoned and service was extremely slow.. it wasn’t overcrowded so I’m not sure why the waiter was so inattentive..
The eggplant and shrimp appetizer was delicious but unfortunately that’s was the highlight of the meal. We had to send the spinach artichoke dip back because it was not edible..
The quality of the food has gone down and menu items and recipes have changed. The restaurant was empty, only My party and a party came as we were leaving. We walked through the bar and there was one couple there for happy hour. No one appears to be coming here any longer.
Easy to make reservation
I liked that they had an excellent gluten free menu. The salmon was outstanding! Thanks Ms Cuomo!
Great Place for a business lunch. Great place for lunch with friends. Just plain 'ole GREAT Place.
I always enjoy a meal at Brio. This time we decided to dine outside while a band was playing. That was a mistake. I was dining with a longtime friend that I hadn’t in a while. We wanted to talk, not listen to music but the music was too loud. We should have sat inside.
Very good meal & very good ambiance.
Given wrong salad dressing, appetizer not served that we ordered, waiter not very enthusiastic, not offered more water as we sat after meal. Was disappointed as I was given recommendation for Brio from a good friend
Had the calamari, bolognese, and lamb chops. All were great. The lamb was amazing! A+++
Keep the music on the patio. It made the overall experience amazing.
Selected Brio for my sister’s 30th Birthday dinner. Service was wonderful literally things were delivered to the table before I could ask. Food was amazing.. with a large party you worry about food being cold. Everything was fresh and hot and came out at all together.
Restaurant was not busy at 6 PM Sunday but my server continued to ignore me and had to be repeatedly flagged down for more water, grated cheese (which arrived 1/2 way through the meal), dessert, check.
Food was on the bland side, lukewarm, with uninspiring presentation. It is "American Italian" at it's most predictable.
I have a $30.00 gift card but probably won't waste my time going back
We have always enjoyed Brio in the past and decided to have dinner Saturday evening since we had not been in a while.
First off, the restaurant was only about 1/2 full..unusual for a Saturday evening in Charlotte..our server was pleasant but inexperienced. We ordered salads as starters..somehow we never got them (“ kitchen’s mistake”)..?? Apparently she never checked to see what the hold up was. Our entree were tasteless.. one was overdone, tasteless beef and the other was a pasta dish, also tasteless. When I told the waitress that I though the pasta dish was bland, she did apologize. The manager then cam over and said she had tasted that entree recently and agreed with me! Funny that there was not a revision of the recipe..
The server never asked us if we wanted an additional cocktail; never refilled our waters, or replenished the bread basket (bread was delicious..best part of the meal!)
The manager gave us a complimentary dessert which was very nice.
But with all the restaurants in Charlotte these days, there are too many other choices to visit. I am sorry to say that after our recent experience, We will not be returning to Brio.
Don’t waste your money. The service was bad, the food was bland and it was $50 per person. We will not return. Our server may have been on drugs. He would forget what we said right after we said it. He took my order and walked away without taking my husbands order. Two thumbs down!
Food was disappointing and overpriced. Interior was lovely. Server was wonderful!
Very consistently good food. We always enjoy our dinners at Brio. Ask for Alex to be your Server. She does an awesome job!
Outstanding service with knowledgeable and engaging server. THE BEST salmon dish ever—- Salmon Fresca. Beautiful, flavorful, and the salmon was cooked to perfection!
This location always does an awesome job of accommodating a business lunch for 10-12 people in a private room. Impeccable service & great food!
Going downhill. Good service, but when a restaurant serves salmon over undercooked sweet potato, apologizes, but serves more hard diced sweet potatoes as a replacement, perhaps a menu ingredient fix is necessary. They've stopped offering lobster tail as either an entree or add on. The usual valet parking, which we need for accessibility reasons, was unavailable, even though 4 restaurants in the same circle had it available.
Moving on to other nearby choices.
Service was good. However, I couldn't eat my entree (beef medallions) as the plate it was served on was dirty and had food scraps on the back and old stains on top. I sent it back and whoever had it didn't replace as it was the same plate with old food still on it. Because I don't eat on dirty plates, live and learn, I'm not going back.
First time here in a while, but several problems. Servers were rude, breaking into our table conversation several times pushing for us to order. We thought the food was not up to Brio standards.
7 ounce Filet at $36 was overpriced and was not as good as the price should provide.
Disappointed in the visit.
Everything was excellent except that I found the air conditioning made the temperature inside the restaurant VERY cold.
The portions were just right and the food was very good. The restaurant was quiet inside but it was a Tuesday evening around 7 pm but I never felt that it was empty. I would go back next time I was in Charlotte.
We have been to your restaurant several times and the food has been consistently good. My steak medallions were overcooked I ordered them medium and they were well done. Not our best visit to Brio’s
I had lunch with a friend at BRIO on Tuesday. It was not very busy so we enjoyed our meal, drinks, dessert and the atmosphere for over 2 hours. Perhaps that is why our server was a bit grumpy and not very attentive? Regardless my friend and I enjoyed Brio and we would return.
Food was amazing and the service was great. Very calm atmosphere and polite people.
It was an amazing night! The ambience was perfect, the food was delicious, the server was good, and my husband had a drink that was great! We celebrated our 8th anniversary and we are so glad we chose Brio! We will be back! We will also tell friends so they can get this amazing experience!
My friend said it was best lasagna she ever tasted.
My steak was excellent. My string beans could've been cooked a little longer and seasoned more
I’ve been to Brio several times and always enjoy it. Last night must have just been a bad night. There were only 3 tables of people in the restaurant and maybe a party in the back too. Our server was the bartender and we only saw her four times during the meal. My boyfriend’s salad was wrong and our lasagna was burnt and black on the bottom layer. The top was delicious and rose’ sangria was also great.
