BRIO - Charlotte - Piedmont
You can sip and savor your way through the week at Brio! Mondays we offer $2.50 Bar Bites from 3:30 to 6:30 in the bar. Tuesdays you can whine a little with Half-Off Bottled Wine ($75 or less). Wednesdays are meant for cocktail infusions, they are just $5 all day.
BRIO is always good that’s why we keep going back. It’s a lot less crowded on Friday nights.
The bruschetta was delicious. The mahi mahi was overcooked. The spaghetti bolognese was dry.
Always enjoy the food and service at BRIO. Great, lively atmosphere at the bar especially when they have band on Wednesday nights.
The waiter brought the wrong wine to the table 2 different times as waited to sample the Pinot noir and they both were white wines. We waited a littler too long for our entrees to arrive.
The food was excellent as always. Never have had anything there that wasn’t delicious. The cocktails were wonderful as well. Didn’t feel we had attentive service and our wait for a drink was quite extended. He brought my friend a glass of Pinot noir instead of the Pinot Grigio she ordered for dinner. It wasn’t extremely busy but he felt busy. If you haven’t been- you should go for dinner. The restaurant is lovely and you won’t be disappointed with your meal.
The restaurant was busy and we had really poor service. We were seated next to the live band and it was loud so we moved outside patio. It was cold outside, the gas heaters went out, when we asked the staff they did not replace the gas tank. We waited close to an hour for our food, some of plates were cold, seems like the food was prepared but not served to us on time.
WE have eaten at other BRIO locations, but did not have a good experience at Piedmont location.
We had a delicious Anniversary dinner. We loved our waitress, Amanda. She took good care of us. Very personal.
Amanda is awesome!
Great food and great service! Lobster and shrimp fettuccine was delicious as was the lasagna. Lobster ravioli appetizer was also very good!
It was OK. Felt rushed. We ordered appetizers and meals for the kids first. Then spent some time browsing menu. Waiter then took our entree orders. Appetizers came at a reasonable pace, followed immediately by entrees. (Less then 2 min apart) and the last thing to come we’re the kids meals. If you have kids then you know this sets the mood for the children for the remainder of the meal. Out of Coors light on a Saturday night. Bizarre
Worst waiter I’ve ever had.
Great food and service.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. One of my favorites.
Outstanding service. Wonderful place to celebrate a birthday. Always great food.
BRIO is such a special spot! Great place for all kinds of reasons to go out to eat! The food is consistently good, as is their wine selection. The only reason I did not give 5* was because our waiter was not as attentive as we think he should have been. We think he may have been 'new' to the job. The owner/manager must have seen the lack of attention as he became our server for the rest of the evening. He was SUPERB. As I mentioned earlier, we believe our first waiter was 'new' to the job, and we felt badly for him because we have all been there, haven't we?
Food was good...Service was cool...I would.go again...
Great food, great service, and great entertainment!
This was our 2nd time attending this particular Brio and we enjoyed our dining experience. You can spend a lot more money at various restaurants in Charlotte if youso desire. The meals here are moderately priced. The staff is well trained.
I do recommend that you ask for Cheikh he was very professional and engaging.
Brios is one of our favorite “date night out” restaurants. The Food and wine paring are outstanding. Especially the Fresco Salmon. The combination of flavors are delicious and it’s low in calories. Allows you to save room for dessert of the Lemon Ricotta cheesecake. It’s is superb and worth every calorie! Our service was perfect. All in all this is a great restaurant.
One of my favorite restaurants to go to. Service was a bit disappointing this night but the assistant manager Diana Logan well made up for it. She was exceptional and we appreciated all her efforts.
Great service! Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Good! Chicken was fatty and dry but everything else was really good!
My family loves to come here and love the great food and atmosphere, the service is always spectacular.
I am glad Brios went back to original menu. Service was great. Food delicious and the price is right.
Cleanliness was a slight issue for my experience. There was a fallen insect on the table, once brought to the hostess' attention...she brushed it off unto the floor with her hand and proceeded to place dining menus in front of us. Once the waiter came to the table, he returned with two glasses of water, but one glass had leftover food residue on it. The unclean glass was brought to the waiter's attention and a new one was brought to the table.
Always have a good meal at Brio. And it's so easy to get in.
The food here was really subpar for the prices. Sauces were not flavorful and service wasn’t great even though it wasn’t very busy for a Friday evening. We will not be returning.
Great place to catch up with friends! We had a wonderful time!
Of all my years coming to Brio this was the first time I was disappointed. I picked this restaurant for my birthday dinner with friends.. The food was under seasoned and service was extremely slow.. it wasn’t overcrowded so I’m not sure why the waiter was so inattentive..
The eggplant and shrimp appetizer was delicious but unfortunately that’s was the highlight of the meal. We had to send the spinach artichoke dip back because it was not edible..
The quality of the food has gone down and menu items and recipes have changed. The restaurant was empty, only My party and a party came as we were leaving. We walked through the bar and there was one couple there for happy hour. No one appears to be coming here any longer.
Easy to make reservation
I liked that they had an excellent gluten free menu. The salmon was outstanding! Thanks Ms Cuomo!
Great Place for a business lunch. Great place for lunch with friends. Just plain 'ole GREAT Place.
I always enjoy a meal at Brio. This time we decided to dine outside while a band was playing. That was a mistake. I was dining with a longtime friend that I hadn’t in a while. We wanted to talk, not listen to music but the music was too loud. We should have sat inside.
Very good meal & very good ambiance.
Given wrong salad dressing, appetizer not served that we ordered, waiter not very enthusiastic, not offered more water as we sat after meal. Was disappointed as I was given recommendation for Brio from a good friend
Had the calamari, bolognese, and lamb chops. All were great. The lamb was amazing! A+++
Keep the music on the patio. It made the overall experience amazing.
Selected Brio for my sister’s 30th Birthday dinner. Service was wonderful literally things were delivered to the table before I could ask. Food was amazing.. with a large party you worry about food being cold. Everything was fresh and hot and came out at all together.
