This restaurant is permanently closed. Permanently Closed - Opened in 2009, Brinkley’s popular Gastropub, located on a compelling corner of Broome Street in SoHo, is a haven for neighborhood enjoyment in a casual setting. Bike propped against the building, Brinkley likes to unwind meeting a group for Sunday brunch. Or perhaps he’s taken a seat at the bar where he can catch his favorite match over a pint of local, New York state beer. Although Brinkley is partial to the Grass-fed Burger, the menu offers a variety of pub classics like Three-Cheese Mac and Cheese and Duck Fat Fries as well as farm fresh options like Kale and Brussels Sprout Salad and Roasted Black Garlic Hummus. Here Brinkley will always make you feel at home, please come say hello.
The food was horrible. My daughter found a black slick hair in her egg sandwich. We informed the waiter in a polite manner. They did remove the item from our bill but I really thought they should have compensated us for the meal as I only had an egg white frittata. That was a shame and since my daughter works in hospitality here in NYC she is going to tell her friends. I may report the restaurant to the department of health as the cooks were not wearing head covering. My daughter stated it is a requirement.
Unfortunately, the mediocre service and only 'okay' food caused me to rate this restaurant as a place we will not try again. My chicken was rubbery and tasted as if it had been sitting out and turned tuff. Both my toast and husband's French toast had pieces of spinach attached, leading us to believe that the food was all cooked nearby other things and not leaving us with a great feeling of cleanliness or order.
The Fish & Chips was a little soggy (we're from Texas so we're used to everything being deep fried and crispy), but errrrrmegerrd, the Pimento Cheese was fabulous!!! Great selection of local beer and a knowledgeable staff!
Loved the food, our table and the service. However, there was a lively party right behind us and they constantly left the side door open to smoke, which left us freezing throughout dinner. Only downfall.
We feature European sports daily and most major United States sporting events on our flat screen TV’s behind the bar.
Our catering menu features some of our top sellers, all using market-fresh, and locally sourced ingredients. For drinks, our signature cocktail list, Premium open bar, or the best of NY State’s beer and wine selection, are all available. Choose from our pre-set catering packages or let our chef work with you to create the perfect menu to suit your occasion.
