Needed a spot to meet visiting relatives (group of 6) on short notice. Hadn't been to Belden Lane for quite some time and was pleasantly surprised that it was quite busy, except for Brindisi which was more quiet than the others. Was a little concerned but we sat inside (it was raining) and enjoyed a long quiet visit with delicious food! We all had something different and it was all really good. The wine I had was mediocre, but there was a good choice on the menu so I could have easily picked something different and been happy. It was a pleasant surprise and one that puts Brindisi on my radar for future dinners in the city!

Very limited menu, only one salad and felt it was overpriced.

Again, Brindisi did not disappoint. The wild salmon with spinach and pea purée was so delicious, as was the shaved Brussel sprouts and avocado salad. Antonio is one of the most attentive waiters on the planet. He is responsive, thoughtful and caring. Can't wait to return!

Great Italian restaurant within walking distance of the Ritz Carlton. Food and wine were very good and the ambience terrific with interior brick walls. Highly recommend

Horrible experience. We should have read the reviews before we went. Menu is nothing like what is on line. Actual restaurant menu is quite limited. Antonio had an attitude when we first told him this. It is a seafood restaurant, but we're told they only had certain items because they only receive fish deliveries M thru Friday. We were there Saturday. Owner came over and told us he is a small restaurant and can't keep updating his web site, yet he sent me an email telling me they update it every three days. Antonio told us no tiramisu , yet owner emailed me they had it. Owner came over and scolded me for being mean to waiter. Food was good, but small portions. Salad had tiny slivers of almonds( could barely see them, no cheese and a few berries. We drive clear across town for an awful meal. We had seen them on Instagram, we're told to mention this for a treat. Nothing. False advertising...would never go back and we dine out constantly.

One of my favorite spots. I just love the owner/manager - Antonio, excellent service always! And great wine and food.

What a great little restaurant! Just a block south of California street, with a wonderful menu and excellent wine list, great food and lovely atmosphere and ambiance. Fine staff and excellent service - the waiter was very attentive and the chef came out to visit each table in turn and we had a wonderful conversation with him. We had the sweet corn soup, the fettuccini with green peas, and pasta with ragout of pork, with a Sicilian wine. Five stars!

The actual menu is far more limited than what shows up on OpenTable

Generally an underwhelming experience. Our waiter was very unfriendly (not even a smile and hello), we had to flag someone down every time we needed someone. Pair this with mediocre food (goopy lukewarm carbonara, tuna poke with hardly any tuna and four small toast points), and suffice it to say we won't be back.

Dropped in for a minor celebration with a same day reservation. Our meal selections were very well prepared: the sea bass was as close to perfectly cooked as we've experienced in ages and sat on a bed of delicious warm ratatouille. Our other main plate of cioppino was heaped with excellent seafoods steeped in an herb sauce that outshown the ordinary standard of tomato sauces. We observed other tables speaking of the quality of their individual pizzal. It's an easy affordable choice for a fine meal in the Financial District.

It was very disappointing. For the past 4 years we have made this our go to restaurant whenever we are in town on business. This time the menu didn't match the website. There were fewer choices. Two of us enjoyed our dishes, but the other two were very disappointed in the quality of the Sea Bass they ordered. We all tasted it and agreed that it wasn't what one would expect Sea Bass to taste like. It was bland and rubbery.
The waiter / manager tried to make it up to us with a plate of raviolis and a free cocktail. He was very nice. In the end, we just couldn't get past the poor quality of Sea Bass.
I've never written a poor review, but in this instance I feel I must be honest. We will not return to this restaurant. It's very disappointing for because we like the location.

Fine selection of Italian seafood dishes, not of the "endless pasta bowl" variety, carefully selected and presented. Friendly service, decent wine list and, unexpectedly, a fabulous dessert (apple tart).

A very charming find in a busy district. The food was amazing.
