Enjoy Northwest-style cuisine with a touch of international flair at Brimmer & Heeltap. Its bright setting features a chic, contemporary design. Owner Jen Doak with help from Executive Chef Mike Whisenhunt created a neighborhood bistro for guests to enjoy seasonal fare, while having a comfortable spot to converse. Kimchi, steak tartare or English pea hummus with grilled flatbread make for tasty starter choices at Brimmer & Heeltap. Guests can dine on glazed prawns with fermented black beans, duck-fried rice or a broccoli salad with pickled serrano and quinoa as an entrée. Brimmer & Heeltap features a full bar that offers a variety of drinks, including wine and beer that's on tap. It serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. This restaurant also has an outdoor back patio for guests to enjoy the weather while dining. It welcomes reservations. It hosts events and provides private dining spaces.

The drinks are wonderful (I recommend the alpine ibex), oyster shooters are awesome (kimchi soju), service impeccable, and everything I've had the past few times I've been have been wonderful! Absolutely want to go back at least once a week!

I love the small and larger size choices for the entrees. The combinations of flavors and the overall simplicity of the menu coupled with the absolutely beautiful setting makes this restaurant unmatched in my opinion. I can't wait to see if it feels as cozy in the fall and winter as it has airy and fresh in the summer. Kudos for taking a classic location and making it even better.

Atmosphere was welcoming and food was great. Shrimp Cocktail for an appetizer had a slightly spicy scallion sauce. Two People had the Salmon and it was very moist and flavorful, one had the off the bone beef short ribs and and the glaze was very good and the beef was tender. and of course always order the baked to order bread with salt and pepper.

The restaurant is beautifully and eclectically decorated. Very minimalist but still warm and inviting. The wait staff is accommodating, good French wines, great bar drinks ( mine was served with one giant ice cube) and friendly bar service. Food was very good. Not a lot of choices but enough in each category. Pork is their specialty and delicious. Steak tartare very lean and flavorful. Easy parking. Very cheerful and upbeat place!

2nd time at the restaurant ... both times food was excellent. We sat in the back garden seating and it was a lot quieter than the main restaurant. service was great. very happy!

Waitress was great...just had more tables than she could handle. Service was slow because of this.

Every dining experience I've had here has been outstanding. Love the food, service and atmosphere. Simple, but unique menu. The house made kimchi and ramen are a couple of my favorites. Order a Basil Hayden Manhattan to start. They make a proper one. 👍🏼 will be back soon!

Its almost so good I don't wanna share it with others, but I will. Great spot, and open late, with tons of street parking. This is the only place where I'd go back just for the bread, but might as well have the lamb while I'm there.
