We have booked a table for a late lunch. After getting seated, we have been told by the waitress that the the main courses could only be served in 45 minutes but we could order appetizers or salads if we wanted something fast, due to a technical problem in the kitchen. We left the place very hungry and disappointed and had to find another place to eat on a Saturday afternoon in Brighton, which was very crowded.

Incredible food, fantastic setting, and friendly service. Bearing in mind the location and food quality it was good value too. We arrived a little early but didnt have to wait long for a table (on the terrace) Portion size is very generous Service was attentive, regularly topping up our drinks. If I was to be critical, serving staff need a bit more training - ie where to place side plates & glasses, ensuring cutlery available, so those seeking true fine dining might not be impressed with that element, but we had a really lovely evening. Will definitely return.

Just another chain the biggest opportunity was the view and they blocked it with a hedge massive mistake

Hi guy We're sorry you were so upset by the height of the plants. Our planning regulations stipulate a certain height of screen whether it be foliage or a physical barrier, but we still think our terrace is lovely and it's certainly been very popular. Hopefully we will see you back again soon. Charly

Lovely location, however a build up of small things has put me off a little. On arrival we were shown to a table. We noticed the cutlery that had been set up was quite dirty and had little bits of food on it so we had to ask for a replacement. There was also no napkins left for us so we had to request those. The food/menu (whilst nice when arrived) was extremely bland and standered which was a surprise especially given how nice the restaurant was. However staff were all lovely. Food was okay once arrived but nothing special. Wouldn't go again but was a nice enough experience

The situation is beautiful, the restaurant is attractive and well designed. The waiter was excellent, personable, well informed and charming. The food was disappointing - pasta undercooked, pizza very thin with not enough topping and bolognese bland. In all our group of 6 found it to be less than the best it could be, which is a shame as it could be very special

Im gluten free and whilst they knew what I needed to avoid I feel there should be a seperatly menus or at list allergens listed on the menus. Also my friend and I ordered the same pasta dish mine was GF but didn’t look like hers - not sure why. No parmasan was offered either

Nice enough with friendly service. We felt 14.5% service was a bit steep and the chairs were annoyingly low for the table. Did the job but not special for the price. Glad we tried it but not rushing back.
