The Brightmarten menu is an imaginative take on New American fare, following the seasons, and sourcing from local distilleries, breweries, growers, and producers.
It’s a nod to the warmth of good food well served and a wink to the impulse to try something new.
We invite you to come in, sit, and tuck into your creature comforts.

wish you had more booths so it's more comfortable to sit and relax. Love that you carry Family Jones Booze too ! Everything tasted great! So happy you're in our neighborhood
What a delight! My salmon/quinoa salad was the best I’ve ever had. I plan to go back real soon.
Great food, great service (attentive without hovering). We'll definitely be back.
Sunday is a great night for dinner since wine by the bottle was 25% off. Salmon was a really good dish. Only complaint is they tend to seat tables together, rather than using the whole restaurant.
Loved the food, service, and place. Used to frequent 730 South and was disappointed when that left, but Brightmarten is a great, fun, new neighborhood restaurant/bar. Very friendly.
We had a fabulous brunch at BrightMarten. The food was excellent and the mimosa flight was perfect. We’ll be back!
Our waitress during lunchtime was wonderful. She helped us to figure out the best options and we were not disappointed. I enjoyed the mussels and sausage dish and my husband tried their lunch combo special with a walleye fish sandwich. I’m not sure I’ve seen that at any other CO restaurant. It was very good, too. An option with the combo was a delicious quinoa salad with a perfect salad dressing. We will definitely be back!
Great brunch-nice and capable staff and good food.
Food was good but very few choices and small portions for the price.
We have the Dining Out Passbook and had heard good things about Bright Marten from a friend. We enjoyed our evening very much. We started with cocktails, which were delicious and surprisingly strong, then had the wonderful brussel sprouts and cornbread for starters. There was a long wait for our entrees, but our server was very friendly and attentive, and since we weren't in a hurry, we didn't mind. We shared both the almond-crusted mahi special and the half chicken and sweet potato gnocchi, both of which were very well-prepared. The cookie cake with ice cream dessert was definitely for sharing and yummy. It's a little on the pricey side, but we'd love to return for happy hour which looks like a great deal.
Brunch options were innovative and delicious! The hollandaise sauce was light and full of flavor!!l Great brioche French toast! The Bloody Mary was full of flavor. I also recommend the blood orange mimosa and the alcoholic coffee drink. They never cease to provide friendly staff and outstanding service! What a wonderful brunch spot!
Nephew and I enjoyed our meal. Pork chop and steak were both delicious.
The food is a bit overpriced but very good and service is excellent!
Fun spot for brunch with options for everyone. Great bloody Mary’s and tasty food.
Only problem was getting the waiter’s attention to pay our bill. Food was amazing! Love the ambiance. I’ll be back!
Great food - interesting choices. professional, attentive service without being intrusive. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
Amazing food and Amazing service!!! Look forward to our next visit!
Excellent menu with variety from salads/sandwiches to full dinners. Great cocktails and pleasant service.
Great all around food, service, drinks. Easy parking and wonderful staff.
Service is very slow, we had to wait almost 40 minutes
What else to say that Denver's restaurant scene is filling up with outstanding restaurants. This place has it all. From the front of the house ownership, to the bar, where while it is quite busy, it is great to see the hustle, workflow and teamwork produce drinks at a record pace and with gusto. Then when you are seated you realize the staff have been hand picked and are at the top of their class. Our food was prepared perfectly, the wine we drank and were referred to was a huge treat, and the service was top notch. We eat out most meals and are always searching for those hidden gems, and this fulfills all of the requirements. Plus they are having some great events here and we cannot wait to attend and experience more of this restaurants expertise !!! It is refreshing to see people who have been in the industry branch out on their own and exceed other restaurants who have old concepts and food. This is a cut above and it stands out with the quality of food, drink and service.
Everything was awesome as usual! Love this place!
pork overcooked and dry / hard to eat.
pasta (w/shrimp dish) uncooked / crunchy - maybe overcooked?
We came for restaurant week and were so impressed with not only the burrata and the beef stroganoff, which were soo good, but also the great service and local restaurant vibes. We will definitely be back! Be sure to get their cookie dough ice cream!
The people are friendly, the atmosphere is hip but comfy, and the food is delicious. Highly recommended!
Love this place! The food is so delicious. I recommend the mimosa with strawberry lemongrass juice.
Everything was good. It is nice to have an additional option in the neighborhood.
What a fabulous find, thanks to Restaurant Week. When they opened, occupying a space we had gone to before for both dinner and breakfast, we were a bit skeptical. Not for any specific reason, just in looking at the menu offerings and price-points, it seemed out-of-place. We couldn't have been wronger. To be fair, they've adapted nicely, adding service at lunch and weekend brunch as well as fine-tuning the menu for the clientele. Exactly as a great restaurant should do. For this meal, and in talking with the various managers as well as watching other guests, it is clear they have a winner. Portions were good, service kept up with all the covers they were doing and it will be a pleasure to return soon. If there is any complaint (there has to be one otherwise you'd think the restaurant wrote this themselves!), it was the noise factor. Loud, owing to the full room but nonetheless, not a problem. A bit of sound baffling on the ceiling or wall could probably fix this but obviously nothing that won't keep us from coming back. And back.
It was crazy busy, but i didn’t feel cramped. The food was incredible... the winter salad was stupid good, I’m ruined forever. Our server was also the sommelier, he was enthusiastic and informative but not boring at all. Awesome experience. Definitely going back!
We went during restaurant week where the menu included four courses for $35 plus an extra $10 for wine pairing. The amount of food and drink we got for $45 far exceeded my expectations! We started with the burrata and nachos. The burrata was silky and rich with a lot of great flavor. The nachos were good, nothing to write home about but if you’re looking for nachos, they’ll be as expected. The steak on top was excellent. Next we tried the French onion soup. SO good. Highly recommend! There were chunks of beef in with the onions, it was absolutely divine. For the main, we got the chicken and gnocchi and the risotto. The risotto was creamy and delicious, the smoked ricotta added great flavor. The chicken and gnocchi were good, I thought they needed salt and pepper. The chicken was very juicy though, and I must have gotten over half a bird! Finally for dessert we got the fried pb and j which was a filled beignet and the skillet cookie. The fried pb and j was good, it wasn’t too sweet and the pb underneath was delicious, however the beignet was a little oily. I’ve never had one before, and I’m not sure if this is how they are traditionally. The skillet cookie was absolutely divine. Very sweet, but I liked that. The caramel sauce on top was to die for! Each course had a different wine pairing, which was a generous pour. Overall a great experience, and a great value!
What a great restaurant we will be back!! Service was excellent and food was fantastic!!
Restaurant week here was amazing!!
I went during Denver Restaurant Week and was very impressed! Everything was delicious and I especially enjoyed the buratta. The waiter had excellent timing and I loved having a wine pairing along with the 4 course dinner. The brussel sprouts in the winter salad were wonderful and I’m excited to go back again!
Brightmarten is terrific. It's a great neighborhood restaurant (meaning, come here on a Tuesday) but it's also a tad upscale, adding flourishes to mainstream dishes that don't feel pretentious: you want a Caesar salad? You get one with sun-dried tomatoes. You want a common French onion soup? You get one with shredded bits of brisket floating in the broth. Approachable and stellar. And Jared, either a manager or owner, is approachable and stellar, too. The entire staff is attentive and kind.
What a wonderful neighborhood gem! We took advantage of the Restaurant Week menu which includes wine pairings for a small surcharge. Throughly enjoyed our 4 course meal of modern takes on comfort food. We will be back.
Went to Brightmarten for Denver Restaurant Week. Food was delicious and generous. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very helpful. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be returning. We have to come back to find more dinos and army soldiers....
Amazing food, great staff, and comfortable atmosphere.
We came here for the first time during restaurant week and got the all inclusive meals. Burrata appetizer was excellent, brussel sprout salad and french onion soup was great. Stroganoff and sweet potato gnocchi entrees also excellent! The service was great and we were never waiting. We got bread pudding with marshmallow ice cream. The bread pudding was a bit dense, big portion though, and the housemade marshmallow ice cream was amazing! We would definitely come back.
Great service, (thank you )! Fun twist on comfort food. Definitely recommend the bursts starter, it was delicious!
We were thrilled that the people involved with Rioja, Bistro Vendome, Euclid Bar and Grille etc. opened a restaurant south of the city that also had free parking. We love the food at all of these places and were thrilled with our restaurant week experience.
