Food and service were excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant also has a cocktail/wine bar downstairs and there was a wedding being held there. The restaurant and our seats upstairs literally shook throughout our meal from the music. The chairs themselves could be more padded as they were quite uncomfortable. It is a little on the expensive side but not terrible. Next time we will be asking if there is a function on downstairs as we were there to celebrate our anniversary and the the noise just killed the ambience. Scallops and mooloolaba crab for entrees were exceptional. Sirloin and lamb for mains were also excellently prepared. We ordered fries and a caesar salad as sides. Probably would only order one side as the meals were quite generous.

Had to wait for drink service. Entree wontons were rubbery. Arancini balls were nice. Steak was served with dry gnocchi. Meal was quite dry so requested extra sauce only to be charged extra.

For our first time at Bridgewater we were extremely happy with our table. The atmosphere was amazing as well as the staff and the food. Will definitely be returning in the future

We would rate Bridgewater in our top 5 restaurants ever, in decades of eating out in places from Melbourne to Port Douglas. It is certainly one of Townsville's premier restaurants. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere were faultless. Not the cheapest place on earth, but you definitely get what you pay for. We chose to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary there and had a very memorable and enjoyable evening. We will be going back there again for sure. Thoroughly recommended.

Definitely the best duck in around. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the cocktails were delicious. It is my go to place for special occasions in Townsville. My most recent visit got a 4 star just because of small things. 1. Did not place our napkins in our laps. I had been several times before and this has always been done. 2. Having to prompt the waitress to remove the wine glasses off our table even after our cocktails were delivered. Staff are otherwise very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.

Can't fault the service at Bridgewater. Staff were pleasant and very attentive. The food was nice, a bit overpriced - as were the drinks. Ambiance was great.

Our ages are 75 -75-87 we 3 shout our birthday celebrations every year by going to your restaurant instead of buying gifts . We absolutely love it. We Frock up and enjoy the food wine and staff. Many thanks
