   Got my seafood fix. Pan fried oysters. Lightly cornmeal and eith a tasty aioli. Locals mussels in garlic broth were tender and yummy. Wild king salmon, although not medium cooked, was still tender and moist. Accompanying black beans, rice and pickled onions were an interesting change.

   We had an amazing anniversary dinner here! We had the crispy thai brussel sprouts, Hungarian mushroom soup, calamari, and the rib eye steak, an entree sized dinner salad with shrimp and for dessert we had carrot cake and amaretto cheesecake...it was all amazing! The service was phenomenal, we plan on going back at least every year for our anniversary!

   Brussels sprouts were good but over sauced. Steamed clams were pleasant but broth too watery, lacked flavor. Breaded oysters were good but not outstanding. Service was delightful.

    Most enjoyable meal. We went early so not crowded. Waiter was terrific. The Hungarian mushroom soup to die for. Fish and chips NOT greasy. Moroccan chicken with all the right spices. Dessert to die for. Would definitely go back!

    Servers are excellent. With a birthday person in our group, he was treated to a sparling candle and a complimentary dessert. Food was very good. Each of the five entrees ordered were well liked. The Brussels sprouts starter is a winner. Berry cobbler yummy.

    This place is amazing. Not just because 90% of the menu can be altered to be made gluten free, but because the food is sooo good! The staff are trained in food safety from an allergy perspective and the food is all farm fresh and wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We will be thrilled to return next year after Reach the Beach. I sense a new family tradition in the making.

    We loved this restaurant! The service was excellent from our server Nicole. The food was excellent as well and we loved our bottle of Dunham wine recommended by the bartender. The view was stunning from the upper floor, with water out all of the windows. The building itself has an interesting history and is well decorated. We will be back!! Thank you!

    We really liked the small plate option for dinner and enjoyed the Thai brussel sprouts, the crab cheesecake and the Arancini. Bridgewater Bistro is our favorite restaurant in Astoria. Reservations recommended.

    We drove all the up from Vancouver to spend a few hours at the beach and Mother’s Day dinner at The Bistro and we were no disappointed, well worth the trip. We will do it again!! GREAT JOB ALL AROUND!!!!

    We where expecting something a little more than your average pub food. We travelled up from Manzanita for the experience but we could have just stayed there at the pub & had same food. Location is great but in my restaurant experience this always takes away from quality of food. Our waitress Carla was pleasant

    A lovely fine dining experience in a town that is, for the most part, pretty casual (not that there's anything wrong with that!) We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful dining room and outstanding food at Bridge Water Bistro.

    The food wasn’t great. Soggy burger bun, fish that was hard to eat because it fell apart when dipping or eating with a fork, less vegan options this time for our vegan family member, and salmon was dry. However, dessert was awesome. Coffee good. Service was good. Usually the food is amazing.

    We stopped here to eat on our way to the Lewis and Clark National Park and we are very glad we did! It can be difficult to pick a good restaurant when traveling but this was such a good find!

    Gluten free Fish and chips were delicious! Crispy and flaky. Tater sauce was delightful. Great chips! Coleslaw was sweet with a hint of spice, Thai sweet chili flavor.

    The Bridgewater Bistro is our go to place when we come to Astoria from Portland many times each year. We always enjoy the beautiful view/ambiance and the very friendly hospitality of our servers, Nicole many times, and this last time budding young server and future nurse, Mia!

    Beautiful view, outstanding fish and chips, interesting and delicious special of the day, and a live pianist! A cruise ship was docked which was pretty to look at and brought quite a crowd to the restaurant, and yet the service was good. It was a return visit for us. Didn’t disappoint!

    Right on the water with good service and food...what more could you ask for? If you want a romantic place this might not be for you....is bright/airy/open and children are seen in the restaurant and running on the deck outside (we loved watching the joy!) I had a marionberry lemon drop (good but a bit too sweet) The Hungarian mushroom soup was to die for:) We've gone several times to dine and have never been disappointed!

    This was our first visit here and we will definitely be back! I had the clam pasta and it was excellent. My husband had the braised short ribs and it was the best he'd ever had. The servers were very attentive. The food was served in a very short time. A most enjoyable experience.

    The restaurant has reconfigured their table spacing with additional tables and 3 large booths which take up a lot of spacing on the side. We felt a bit hemmed in as we are seated at a table. The booths were resersed only. We asked to be seated in one empty booth, but it had already been reserved. The one big difference from last year is the menu selections. There was more meat selections than seafood. Last year, the seafood dominated the menu which was great as far as we were concerned. This year the seafood selections had been trimmed from the menu. A disappointment for us. A plus was the wine selections. We each had a glass of Italian Pino Grigio which was very good and the price by the glass was only $8.00. A real plus!!! Richard Knight

    We had a lovely time celebrating my birthday. The food was amazing! We ended up getting a free dessert because we had to wait 10 minutes longer than they estimated for our food. We had no problem waiting, the food was well worth it, and the free dessert was unexpected and delicious. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The live music was lovely. We will be back.
