Bridgets never disappoints! Best food/staff/service ever!!!!
This is the 6th time we have been here. It is always a great time, good service, great cocktails, and good food. I ordered the dry aged Sirloin steak, as did my wife. I found my steak to be perfect, my wife found hers to be a little tough, even after she cut it into very small pieces (Almost like shaving it) otherwise, everything else we ate/drank was great.
It was a pleasant, quiet evening spent with friends and wonderful food. Allen was a gracious and attentive waiter. Nice recommendations and quick service. We'll be back!
Food is always excellent.
Loved every bite of our wedge salad, rib eye, Brussel sprout dinner, and every sip of wine! The steaks were done to perfection and oh so tasty! The salad dressing was home made and yummy and loved the addition of the red onion and beets. The waiter was attentive and helpful. You are a little pricey but worth every penny. However you guys need to step up on the desserts - the meal was over the top fabulous but the desserts were meh. The Bananas Foster was literally a cereal bowl with a single banana sliced into rounds with warm sauce and a teeny golf ball size scoop for $10. Such a let down! The cheesecake was about an inch and a half high with a paltry drizzle of chocolate. There are so many fabulous desserts out there to buy if you don't want to make your own! Great job otherwise and we will be back for sure!
Everything was great. We walked in and our table was ready. Waiter was very good. Food good. The only thing that we found wrong was dessert was just ok. That wouldn’t stop us from coming back.
Dinner was superb. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the t-bone steak. Each was cooked to perfection.
We have been to Bridget's several times - it has always been perfect. Dine early for a quieter experience. Our last visit was fantastic.
Some effort needs to be made to reduce noise level in dinning area.
We love their menu, food and service and food preparation.
Noise level in bar area makes personal conversations in dinning area almost impossible.
Fix that and Bridgets is a 5 star plus restaurant.
This was our second time back to Bridget's but our first sitting on the front porch. This is a rather pricey restaurant so we were looking for a special, relaxing night out for two. Unfortunately, the noise level from the bar and the large group on the other end of the room was unbearable and totally ruined our dining experience. It really is a shame since the food was very good and the server did a nice job. This is advertised as a romantic place to dine but in reality it is a bar atmosphere. We left with our ears ringing...like we had been front row at a concert!
Waiter was attentive, friendly, experienced. Food as always was superb. Intimate table in the back. Totally enjoyable experience.
Dinner at Bridgett’s is always excellent and when we are lucky enough to have Bernard as our server our dinner experience is exceptionally superb for lack of a stronger adjective. Bernard makes sure our every need is met without being intrusive which is very difficult to do especially when a restaurant is busy and it takes a special skill and respect for people. The food was excellent and prepared exactly as ordered even though they were busy for Valentine’s Day. Bridgett’s is a gem in our own backyard!
Went for Valentines Dinner. Excellent food and great service!
Been hear about ten times and we’ve never been disappointed with anything. It is our go-to special occasion restaurant.
Lovely spot, good service. The lobster in the risotto was a tad chewy but the dish tasted very good. As expected the price is a tad above our normal budget but it was our pre-valentines celebration so, what the heck, splurge a little...and splurge we did. Love having a spot like this so close to home.
Our dinners were delicious and salads were fresh and so well seasoned. The glass of wine was full bodied and a perfect match. The evening was delightful and the ambience club like and friendly. Our waiter was friendly and personable.
It was SO LOUD. We were put on the front porch but the door never stayed closed. the volume was alarming and I am 48 and like an energetic room. I won't go back bc I fear not getting a porch spot.
Great food, great service.
The Sunday evening Prix Fixe menu truly can't be beat. My husband and I and two best friends make this dinner a regular occasion. The server, Sharon, knows the food inside and out and provides wonderful attentive service without being pushy or rushed. On this particular occasion, a private party in the bar area got a little noisy and made it difficult to navigate out of the restaurant, but that has never happened before.
I took a customer to Bridget's Steakhouse for dinner this week. Food was the usual very good. Restaurant can be loud at times.
Our server - Sharon Little was excellent - and gave us excellent service.
Always excellent food and service at Bridgets. There menu is marked very clearly for items that are or can be made gluten free. They cook steaks perfectly and consistently. It is my go-to spot for a great steak and date night out!
Our group enjoyed the evening. Our waitress, Stephanie was very energetic and very accomadating. Even though the beef short ribs were tender, they were on the dry side. I really didn't enjoy me green beans. they were way under cooked, too hard and not seasoned well. The portions were small for the price.
If it weren't for restaurant week, I think the rates are pricey.
The selections were great. Loved the ambiance!!
Always a great place to dine
We had reservations. when we arrived there there was no wait. Sharon our waitress was very pleasant.fast service. noise level was very loud . it was a very busy night, maybe because it was restaurant week in Ambler.
Our waitress was not very attentive to us and continually fell short of the service you expect at a pricey steak house. She forgot to read us the specials, she served the drinks incorrectly and she continually rushed us throughout the evening.
However, the food was very good.
Great visit! Went early & had a cocktail at the bar before dinner. Tried a new drink but didn't like it & ordered something else. Bartender did not charge us for drink I didn't like, which was very nice. Server was Eric. He was very good. Food was prepared as ordered & delicious. Good cuts of meat. Really enjoyed our meal. Only negative was noise level. Had to shout to each other at times to be heard. Was Saturday night & restaurant week, so was very busy. Overall good experience & would happily return.
Very attentive server. My husbands steak came out medium well instead of medium rare. It was corrected immediately. Food was delicious and great bread pudding for dessert.
Restaurant week and I won a free dinner for two!
This was only my second time at Bridget's and I cannot wait to go back. The food is awesome and the service second to none. Be warned. It's city prices in a suburban location.
The place was very crowded, and a little on the loud side, but overall very good. The bar service was slow, but again, it was very crowded.
We had a reservation, and were seated on time. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. Our food came out fast, and hot and everything was delicious.
We had a great night out and will return.
Girls night out! Food excellent as usual. Always a pleasure to see Steve but only disappointment was that our favorite waiter Bernard was not there. We managed to finish every morsel regardless and it was restaurant week so our meals included scrumptious deserts. I had the banana foster and FYI: Its to die for!!!!
My husband and I went to Bridget's for our anniversary which was also restaurant week. We were seated at one of the high top tables by the bar which we like. The food taste and quality are always good here. Our issue started when a staff member cleared our table after dinner. We actually saw the employee peel off the front and last piece of the bread that we had and put it back in the drawer. It was clearly not the first time she had done this. We notified the waiter who notified the manager who spoke to the employee. He removed the used loaf we ate and did not dump the bread drawer. This is disgusting. With deadly strains of the flu and all other issues you can have floating around, the management should have responded differently other than talking to the employee. It felt more like it was an issue of getting caught vs the health issues and general practice of the restaurant. Disappointing and we won't be back.
Absolutely loved the filet mignon! Went for restaurant week and ate everything on my plate for all three courses. Steak cooked to perfection. Excellent seasoning on all items. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Ambler area!
Oh dear, it was so unbelievably noisy. We had a party of 5 and seated at a large round table, I could barely hear the conversation across the table; we literally had to shout. Not an enjoyable experience with this kind of noise level. Food was very good and our server was wonderful.
Dinner and service was delicious. It is very noisy over on the side.
We're not regulars but could become irregulars. Been there a few times. Nice place, excellent food, a little on the spendy side but for an occasional visit worth it. Always a bit too loud. Since we live in Ambler, we can go at any time, but we prefer mid-week and early when they're much less crowded and far less noisy - then it's a very nice experience. We tend to try their more interesting offerings and everything we've ordered so far has been terrific. Even though they're known as a steakhouse, they do well with seafood and the small offerings are well worth trying.
We had an enjoyable dinner. The service was attentive and the food was very good. We went on a Saturday night and it was very noisy. If you are looking for an intimate setting, go on a weeknight.
I love the food here and our waitress was very sweet to our six year old daughter.
Consistently good restaurant.....both of us had delicious dinners and look forward to returning soon.
We were there on a Sunday at 6:00 and had the option of Prix fix meal or anything off the menu. Four of us did the Prix fix and the rest just ordered off the menu. Our meals were delicious. The flatbread appetizer was short rib with caramelized onions - very good. I had the salmon which was delicious and it came with a dessert, which I tried the cheesecake and it was also very good! The Prix fix menu was great and it was the perfect amount of food. The steaks were delicious also. We shared an appetizer of fried calamari that was just wonderful. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu.
