We love Bridget’s!! Go there often. Love the food, service and ambiance.
Bridget's is our favorite steakhouse and we drive past four others to get there. The atmosphere is PERFECT and the food and servers are second to none!
I'm always warmly greeted when I arrive. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food and drinks are outstanding! Try the duck risotto!
Great food, great atmosphere and even better service. I highly recommend taking a stroll through main Street ambler and stopping for a bite to eat or drink. You will not be disappointed
For $100 and no cocktails, I thought the food was slightly above average. Won’t rush back. The most disturbing thing was the torn plastic insert in the bread basket. Do they reuse that without washing it? Yuck!
The food was good but the prices are too high for dining in Ambler. We paid what we normally pay at Capital Grille or Del Frisco's and this is not either of those restaurants. If you don't want to drive into Philadelphia I guess you could call this an alternative but the service and food are not of the same standards.
Another great meal at Bridget's! Fabulous cocktails, steaks & lobster. Our server Lexi, was wonderful. Very enjoyable evening. We'll be back!
Food was outstanding as was the service! Would definitely return. Noise was quite high I will attribute to restaurant week.
I came here for restaurant week..this meal was delish 😊 definitely a repeat customer
The restaurant was very noisy. The food was just average, and the dining room seemed a bit dark. Would not be in any hurry to return.
We had a table just on the other side of the bar area and between the loud music and bar crowd it was too noisy to have a conversation. The dry-aged rib eye special at $49 was so fatty that there were very few bites without fat...not worth the price. The waitress was excellent and when I told her about the steak she passed it on to the chef.
Great kunch! Loved restaurant week menu. Two courses for $19. Food was delicious. Our server was very professional & efficient. Very good.
Wonderful. One of the best meals we have had in some time. Portions perfect—we will be back
My sister has been a Bridget’s fan for years, and recently turned my fiancé and I onto it as well. We decided to treat her to their new brunch for her birthday and had the best time. Food was phenomenal, drinks were interesting and strong, and the service was attentive and seamless. A great addition to the Ambler brunch scene!
Great food and service. Noise level needs improvement
My strip steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were magical. Also, order the six layer chocolate cake, it's everything you want chocolate cake to be.
It never disappoints
Excellent Food and Service
The food was fantastic as always. We had the Lamb for two. Also perfect.
The expectations of Bridgets was a high end steak house. What we actually received was a decent steak with high end prices. If your looking for a good meal this is it, if you want a great meal not on the same level. For the portion size a little on the expensive side. The service was great waitress was amazing and the food came rather quickly for the crowd they had. If I didn’t feel like driving to center city this place would work but that is the only way. Nothing real memorable.
Matt the bartender was amazing as always...the service staff A+
Food was good , had a nice time
A lot of the staff was not really friendly , the front area was really congested and I was told ‘hon you gotta move’ like three times , I was at the front desk waiting for my table! It was just the way it was said and where do you want me to go??
You made the bar long to the front door with barely any room to go
That was a pain , the hostess was very nice , more of the waitstaff was rushing and no time for anyone
What great food! The staff is friendly and efficient. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often.
Bridget's is always a great time. Excellent food and service!
We were disappointed with our dining experience at Bridgets on this occasion. Unfortunately, we took out of town guests for Fathers Day. We asked to be reseated in the porch which they were happy to do. Our service was extremely slow. Also the filet was over done and stringy. Normally we have good experiences here.
I really enjoy Bridget's. I have eaten there a few times and have never gone away disappointing. I started the meal with the burrata appetizer and for me this was the highlight of the meal. I had never had burrata before and it was unbelievably delicious, the burrata was served with prosecute and roasted peppers a delight that left me wanting more and isn't that the what an appetizer for. As a main course I had the dried aged rib steak, it was excellent and cooked perfectly. Unlike many Steak Houses the steak came with green beans and mashed potato, both were very good. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The place was very loud. I am looking forward to my next visit.
Brunch - three of us visited today for brunch. We were impressed with the menu and the service was terrific. I hope you will be serving brunch regularly. We love the new decor and having the screens in the windows is great. You are to be commended for consistently good food and service. Thank you for making our 34th wedding anniversary and Father’s Day special.
The best place for dinner in the suburbs! The food is outstanding and the new look is so cool.
The quality of the food, the variety of menu selections & the level of service (Becky in particular) were simply off the charts – phenomenal in every way. But the noise level in the restaurant was just ridiculously high, in spite of being seated in the dining room up front surrounded by glass…such a shame.
one of the better meals I've eaten! got the crab cake app, filet mignon entree, and bread pudding dessert. great food and friendly service. highly recommend
I visited this restaurant for a special occasion and after reading the reviews. Not quite sure my experience met the reviews. We had to ask for bread. I ordered a drink off of the menu by name and the waitress asked me what it was, I had to remind her it Wass off of their menu. One person in our party of six ordered a side that she admittedly forgot to put in and it came out after he finished his dinner. A ribeye was ordered by another member of our party and wanted it medium. The firs time it came out very well done and the second time it came out well. She ended up foregoing th steak altogether. We were not charged for the steak and in addition the $3.00 per person plating charge we were told we would have to pay since
we bought our own cake was waived. All in all it was not what I expected based on the recommendation of a friend or the reviews.
My dining companion and I ordered the special Halibut and were very specific about not over cooking it . When it arrived we both knew immediately that it was over cooked. We didn’t send it back because we had waited a long time for it to come out of the kitchen and we were hungry. The orzo accompaniment was tasty but at $39 per plate, that was an expensive side of orzo with dry fish.
Wonderful service and the food was delicious. The breaded shrimp over spinach, blueberry, and lobster risotto special was so interesting and delightful. For my entree I had the ribeye with horseradish sauce. Normally I'm not a fan of horseradish sauce but it was done so tastefully I couldn't help but pour it all over my meal! Service was quick and attentive. Over all a great experience, can't wait to try more foods from here!
The place was amazing food and desserts were out of this world best server ever Becky made us feel like family.
We had a horrible meal at Bridgits Friday night! Very noisy happy hour near our small table
Waitress rude and rushed us though we had 5:45 reservation for price fixe dinner $38.00 per person- ends at 6 - we had plenty of time.. rude
Choices limited and smaller portions
Asked for well done salmon- came out very pink/ red in spots
Sent back- waitress said ‘well/ salmon is pink you know’- like I didn’t know
Sent back twice until it was firm and not mushy inside
No manager ever came over to see what happened
Wasn’t even hungry after taking food back twice!
Disaster and waitress or restaurant showed no concern
Don’t bother going! They don’t care :((
On the whole, great service and solid food. Quite loud when we arrived at 7:15, to a point that conversation was very difficult, but improved as the night progressed.
Bridget's is a gem in all the restaurants of Ambler. We are always greeted with a smile and hello. Seated right away in their lovely dinning room. The waiter is knowledgeable with the menu and give us timely pace between courses so you never feel rushed. Food is as good as the more expensive restaurants in Philadelphia and always consistent no matter what day you come.
We went to Bridget’s to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. We had a great time. Everything was delicious. We would recommend Bridget’s to anyone celebrating an anniversary. Our daughter joined us for dinner and there were many gluten free options available. We hope to return again soon.
Everything was great. Food was amazing. Wine was excellent
