Bridges has a stunning location, overlooking the fishing boats in False Creek and the mountains of the North Shore. The second-floor dining room features a vaulted ceiling highlighting the original beams and trusses of this 1920&30s building, with floor to ceiling windows capturing every part of the view. The downstairs bistro and pub offer a casually elegant atmosphere, while the chef presents a menu featuring fresh seafood, rich meats and local produce. During the summer, our dock patio offers one of the best views of False Creek and the Burrard Bridge in Vancouver. Reservations are for the downstairs restaurant only.

One dish, the spaghetti seafood pasta was not a hit as it was bland and lacked flavour.
It definitely needed spices and/or herbs.

The location and service can’t be beat, but we attempted to order lunch and they were out of all 3 items we requested, pizza and nachos being 2 of them. Not impressed.

My loyal Bridges friend and I always have a burger and fries...sometimes with wine or beer.
We would love to see Bridges continue and maybe not do too ambitious a makeover....and would love the landmark name to be kept.

Bridges is always a beautiful place to eat. The patio is always busy but our server seemed a bit overwhelmed - we didn’t receive water for the table for 20 minutes after seating, and after our order was taken. The food was delivered from the kitchen quickly and was quite good. Great setting, good food and drinks, more staff might be needed.

We were a group of 6 for lunch and food took more than 45 minutes to arrive after ordering. Food was mediocre for the price. Special customized meal request could not be accommodated. Great view and location but mediocre food and service.

Our server was great, and that’s about it. Food was pretty disappointing. We were a table of 6, and all the dishes looked underwhelming. I had the truffle mushroom papardelle and it lacked a lot of flavour. 2 friends ordered burgers and just had “meh” to say about them, and another ordered the tenderloin steak and was disappointed as well. Our server was apologetic about this, but the cocktails ordered came a bit late and must have been sitting out for some time because one came out warm, and the rest tasted more watery. We should have said something, but maybe they could have made them fresh knowing they had been sitting out on a very hot day. This was also a birthday celebration and In the reservation note I mentioned this, and when we arrived my friend mentioned it to the hostess again but she said that they do not do anything for birthdays. Ok fine, but then another table had a birthday dessert and song come out to them so not sure why she said no to us.
Overall, disappointed with the food, drinks and value so would not recommend.

Great view and location. Good happy hour prices, although food selection for happy hour was limited. Could offer a few more selections. Service was great. Has a good vibe.

Enjoyed the patio for some happy hour beverages -- good seating, umbrellas and sunshine, good spacing and protocols. Was nice to be out again!

The view is stunning on the patio, but that’s really all that was worth the visit. The service was below par, staff felt pretty apathetic and didn’t really care about being friendly… and we were dining for a Birthday celebration. They seemed more interested in rushing us to pay for the bill, before we even had the chance to look at it, or get our credit cards ready.
The food was also lacking in flavour, which was surprising, since I’ve had good meals at Bridges in the past.
Must admit, we were disappointed.

Not nearly as good as it used to be, food wise. My husband and I both ordered the cioppino and his piece of fish was twice the size of mine. I was okay with that, though, because it wasn’t terribly tasty. A meh meal that was saved by the very friendly wait staff.

I remember Bridges being classier (they even have a dress code). Based on this, I thought this would be a great place to take my mom for her birthday. However, the atmosphere is now more pub style. I would still enjoy that, but not for a nicer event. The calamari and halibut ciopinno was definitely not worth the price. The portions were meagre and we were hungry after. But I saw dishes at other tables like the burger and fish n chips that looked great and likely better value. Overall I would try Bridges again for casual dining, and ordering something else.

Service was extremely bad. Had to wait 10 minutes at table for a waiter and finally had to ask a server to get someone so we could order wine. Waited 20 minutes after drinks wine was served and again finally had to catch the waiter and ask if we could order. would not return.

Server came and asked if we were ready to order and we said we needed a few more minutes and she took off without asking if we wanted at least drinks. She came back a while later to take our food and drink order at once. Food was served to two of us of a party of four. We had to wait another good five minutes to receive the other two plates. My steak was cooked medium well when I had asked medium rare. I didn't mention it as I don't like to waste food. All in all our experience was just ok.

My husband and I were very disappointed of this restaurant. Our food was extremely overprice for the value. My hot seafood salad had brown pieces of lettuces and only 3 very small pieces of salmon for $27. My husband had the halibut and the tomato broth it was served in, tasted like it was from a can. Overall we weren't happy with the dinner and we won't be back.
