Nice anniversary dinner and drinks
Had to wait forever for our food and they weren’t that busy. Unacceptable!!
The outdoor dining is lovely. Food is always delicious.
Great food
I would have like to have a better selection of seafood.
Bridges has risen to the occasion in terms of an outside dining experience that doesn't feel like eating in a parking lot. It was warm enough. The food was excellent. And my favorite repeat server, Hannah, is very good and suggesting drinks, wine and food. Keep her! We will be back. I also appreciate your continuing to honor the Passport. Makes me want to go there more often. Thanks for that!
Dining experience is always great, even if it is outdoor dining.
Service was dreadful. I was dining alone and wait staff largely ignored me at every step. Late clearing main course plate post meal, failure to enquire whether I enjoyed the meal, failure to fire up outdoor heater without any explanation or apology after I requested heat in late afternoon. Management also ignored me. Espresso arrived along with bill. No one returned to collect bill payment, so I simply handed cash to one of the staff while walking out. Restaurant was not busy, and there were plenty of wait staff, but largely untrained or unhappy with their lot. I dropped $85 including tip, and as this was my birthday, the experience was immensely disappointing and not what I was used to from Bridges having been a client from their original opening in Danville.
We had an excellent anniversary experience at Bridges! Enjoyed the Mexican Prawns, my favorite, and hubby had the tasty NY Steak. They brought us an anniversary dessert which we enjoyed along with the Honey Creme Brûlée. Outside dining was made extremely powerful heaters. We didn’t even need our jackets! Service was very good. Food came out in a timely manner and never felt rushed. All in all, an experience we will repeat!
And enjoyed being served by Aaron. The last two times at Bridges lately I find the food better than ever!!!!! You have a great chef.
Their mushroom tortelloni was awesome. Chris, our server, was very attentive and pleasant. They did a nice job with distancing and Covid precautions. Looking forward to our next visit.
Outstanding and consistent as usual.
Wonderful outdoor patio on a glorious day.
The staff was very cheerful, and they are adhering to strict COVID guidelines. We essentially were dining in a parking lot, otherwise I would have given higher marks for ambiance. But it was a nice experience. The food was really tasty! Excellent roasted Brussels sprouts and lovely salmon. I just wish the dishes didn’t arrive literally on top of each other, like there was a rush, but that could be due to the time limit on the table. Overall great food and great cocktails, and the staff is doing a good job.
Celebrated a friends birthday. I ordered the pri fixe dinner menu from the Tri-Valley Restaurant week. The Citrus encrusted Salmon was delicious. The outside atmosphere was was cozy and we kept warm with the heaters.
Had the salmon. Was supposed to be on the rare side. Was way overdone and dry. For $30 that was a real disappointment. So will never go back there again. Sitting in the parking lot is also not what we expected.
Tasty food and nice service - Thank you!
I had the Mexican Prawns and they were amazing!!! Not too spicy. They had an Asian fusion flavor with a delicious peanut sauce over a noodle pancake. I also had a very tasty Paloma that was very refreshing!
We had an ok time on our date.
The good:
- My wine. I got a Malbec and I really enjoyed it.
- The ambiance. They did a good job or putting tents out and have tables spread out so that we felt social distancing protocols were observed. They also had nice strong heat lamps. And it was pretty quiet despite being outdoors.
- My husband’s pork chop was very tasty and not tough.
The not so good:
- My pork chop was extremely tough and hard to cut through even with the steak knife provided.
- Our food took way too long to get to us. So by the time we got it, I was so hungry I didn’t opt to send it back.
- Service was slower than usual.
Our server, Sabrina, was very personable, knowledgeable, and hardworking. A very pleasant evening under the covet circumstances.
The service was outstanding! Our food was scrumptious!
We’re looking for to our next visit.
Had a relaxing experience with good service and good food
As expected Bridges outdid itself. I took some friends and they were so impressed.
Service and food was wonderful. Well done. Given the circumstances, we found the setting to be perfect and our server + all others were outstanding.
granted we ate out in a tent, but the service was great, the food was great, the heat lamps kept us warm although it was raining and cold.
We had a lovely Valentines Day in one of the alcoves that the restaurant set up. I was worried about being cold but it was not an issue at all. The food was delicious and our server, Olivia, did a great job. My husband is gluten free and the restaurant was able to accommodate him without any issues.
Valentine’s Day. Had a 7 pm reservation. Got right in, then waited 15 min for the server to come over. We had a bottle of wine waiting to be opened. Since there was a fixed menu we ordered appetizers. The appetizers were served before the bottle of wine was opened. The soup was bland and the chicken on toast tasted like the chicken was taken from a Costco rotisserie chicken.
The main meal, we both got fillet, mine medium and hers med well. Both came out rare. I ate mine because I was starving and she ate half and couldn’t eat any more due to it being rare. The Brussels sprout, onion, mushroom, squash mixture was completely mushy. The shrimp were actually good but there was only two of them.
Desert I had the sorbet and it tasted like there was freezer burn all over it.
I really enjoyed the bread and butter. Probably the best food of the night.
The 78 dollar meal per person was ridiculously overpriced and the meal under delivered. I have no problem with that price if it is worth it, but this wasn’t.
It will be a long time before returning if we do.
Valentines Day
A wonderful evening in the cool of early spring with warmth from radiator heaters and great company. A perfect setting for a perfect evening out.
nice for Valentines Day dinner. First time eating out since the beginning of the pandemic.
Great restaurant with tasty meals and pleasant service.
Will come again.
It was Valentines day, so very busy. We got there at four, were seated promptly. The Soup and Salad were excellent. We asked for bread, it never came. I was served my halibut, but my wife's steak didn't arrive at the same time. She advised my to get started. The waiter rushed by and said the steak was coming. After 15 minutes I had finished my fish, my wife hadn't received her steak, the waiter was nowhere to be found. I went up to the front and asked for manager, explained my wife hadn't received her food. She asked to go to my table, which we walked to, and said she would find out what was going on. 5 minutes later she appeared with my wife's steak, and said the restaurant would comp both our meals. The steak was an excellent piece of meat, cooked well, but completely unseasoned. We aksed for salt and pepper. I suspect they grabbed a steak before it had been seasoned. We've eaten at Bridges before, and never had this kind of problem.
We went to Bridges for Valentines Day and it was FANTASTIC! Lisa and her staff are attentive, friendly and hard-working. There was always someone available to refill cocktails, water glasses, clear plates or attend to our needs, without feeling like they were 'hovering.' The food was great, the outdoor patio set up with individual booths and heaters made it very comfortable - in fact, at one point we even turned the heater down a bit - all in all a wonderful experience. We will be back!
Amazing food, amazing customer service , amazing ambience. Overall one of the best dinners ever, Highly recommend the coconut crusted halibut
Really enjoyed Valentine’s lunch at Bridges. Considering having to dine outdoors because of COVID, I was very comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff was great.
The Valentine's Day dinner was fabulous. We had the halibut and filet mignon which were prepared with a very pleasing balance of flavors and cooked perfectly. We also thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of dining on the patio in our own private "room" with a gas heater that kept it comfortable enough to remove our coats.
All aspects were wonderful!
I have been going to this place for over 20 years, and it has been exceptional- every time! Highly recommend it! Kevin Gin is super talented.
Excellent pre Valentines Day meal with my wife and daughter!
Bridges is one of our favorite restaurants. Food is always delicious!
