We’ve been going to Bridges for years. Although we hadn’t been in 1 year. They changed the menu and we didn’t see anything that we would want to eat on the main entrees. So I ordered a steak. The worst steak I’ve ever had. Wasn’t seasoned well at all. The server even acknowledged that he’s heard this. He noticed I didn’t eat it so he took it off the bill. I was greatful for that.

Please change your menu back. This is the farthest it’s been from the normal type of menu I’ve seen here.

From soup to nuts , as they say, we were treated with delicious food and a wonderful wait staff.
Our shrimp salads were wonderful. We will return for our next friend’s birthday celebration.
A place to celebrate and enjoy!

Oh man, the Macadamia Nut Crusted Salmon on wild rice....so awesome! Bridges Danville continues to be a California legend - Great ambience, great outdoor seating, great food, nice wine list, and some very creative cocktails. Proof once again that good eats in the Bay Area are not limited to San Francisco!

The menu at Bridges is very interesting and challenging for a chef, however it is not to my liking. Portions are generous but the preparations need more finesse. There are too many components to the dishes and it feels like the chef is trying too hard. My duck was perfectly cooked but the accompanying couscous salad was not balanced. Too many flavors competing here!

The Mexican shrimp with Thai sauce was OUTSTANDING. Brie and Tuna appetizer great as well. Down side was the noise. I couldn't hear 3 of the 6 people in our party. Squeezed out table in between 4 tops and our chairs were bumped repeatedly.

Bridges was fabulous, from entry to exit. Valet was quick and easy. Hostess was very pleasant. Our service was directed by Maya. She was awesome. Our appetizer was delicious, drinks were generous and the entrees were phenomenal. My wife had the swordfish and I had the ribeye. Dessert was so yummy. We shared the gingerbread pudding. Just an enjoyable evening.

Bridges is great for summer outdoor dining. Being there in January left a bit to be desired. Food was fine, but service was less than attentive and any semblance of real hospitality was lacking. We'd go again for lunch, but for dinner probably only in the summer to enjoy their patio.

I met a friend I had not seen in a while. We both had the Seafood Cioppino and found it to be excellent. It was a bigger bowl than we expected for lunch. I would order it again.

Lisa, our hostess, was very kind and personable. She made us feel welcome and important and as if we had known her for some time. The cuisine was exquisite, as all of our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The wait staff was outstanding in their attentiveness and timing, without making us feel rushed, etc. Ours was a VERY PLEASANT DINING EXPERIENCE. (I have already recommended Bridges to other members of my family, my friends, and my business partners.)

Wanted to have a nice meal NY eve but very disappointed. I wasn’t told the menu is different ahead of time when called me to confirm the reversation. Once sat down, bread was hard and cold. Server (high school kids) standed by the bar chating, in front of the food. Kids meal wasn’t include the drink until I asked for it, and the cup was so small about 3 oz and full of ice. Can finished the drink in 5 zip for kids. Order chicken tender as kids meal and I feel like those are Costco frozen chicken stripe. Appetizer was poor, no quality at all as a fine dining restaurant. Over $220 for this meal is really not worth. Ruin my new year holiday just because this experience. Never go again and never recommend sorry.

I went here with my husband for New Year Eve. They had a special menu. The food had no taste. My first course was a soup that was supposed to have crab. No crab. The waiter noticed I didn’t eat it and came over to offer me a different appetizer. That was a beef tar tar. It was much better in taste but crazy spicy.
My main dish was fish and again not much flavor and the fish was dry. I couldn’t eat it. The dessert was a chocolate mouse and that was delicious. I was surprised the meal had no flavor because they charge $72. The waiter comped my meal so that was very nice. I didn’t complain about the meal so I appreciate that they noticed I didn’t enjoy it and made sure I didn’t pay for it. That’s good management/service. They just need to hire a different executive chef. Too many restaurants to compete with to have food taste like that.

The food was amazing. Every single bite was full of flavors. The wine selection was pretty good if you like to enjoy a good wine. The cocktail list offers a wide array of original cocktails. The restaurant is a good option for dates, family or group events, anniversaries, birthdays, any special occasions.

Ordered two Holiday Specials with Filet Mignon which were good. Ordered two grilled New York’s that I wouldn’t feed to my dog. Grisle throughout and paper thin. What a waste of a special Holiday meal. Just horrible.

I have been eating at bridges since it opened years ago. It is always been the best, but the newest menu is absolutely fantastic. My best friend and I chose it to have our Christmas dinner and gift exchange and it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We had four small plates and salad and they were so creative, unique and delicious!

Not a very impressive visit to Bridges, despite so many great visits in the past. No valet at lunchtime during the holidays? Watered down cocktails? Possibly the world's worst french fries? I will only return on the great strength of the dinner menu and service from past visits.

With respect to food, this was truly one of the best restaurant meals I have ever had. The "for the table" starter of red beet risotto was outstanding; it was creamy with a beautiful beet color and topped with pieces of steamed pink beet (this was the key to sending it over-the-top) as well as two different cheeses--this is not to be missed! The two mains that my date and I shared were as wonderful as the starter. First was grilled, line-caught swordfish, atop a bed of black lentils with butternut squash and Applewood smoked bacon; the complex, smoky, earthiness of this dish was deeply satisfying and perfect for a chilly evening. On a par (or maybe even a bit favored) was rare ahi tuna on a sticky rice cake containing Chinese sausages. The rice cake was browned to a wonderful crunch on the outside; it was full of salty soy and sesame flavors and a texture that complemented the velvetiness of the tuna perfectly. For dessert we had pear tart with huckleberry syrup and ginger ice cream. The presentation of this was lovely, but the flavor was not particularly special; the pastry was a bit disappointing with regard to flavor and texture and neither of us tasted any ginger in the ice cream.
It was a VERY busy night at Bridges, perhaps because it is the holiday season. However, despite the busyness, the service was attentive (maybe a little too fast in removing my dinner plate since I was still chewing). The restaurant was packed and the patio was closed because the evening was chilly. Consequently, the restaurant was very noisy, and conversation was a bit difficult. For food this good, however, I am willing to tolerate the noise. I think this would be a lovely place on a summer's evening to enjoy dinner on the patio; I imagine it would be a bit quieter. Wine list was also good.
