Sat outside on the patio, really nice plus live music
The food was good not great
Beautiful night on the patio with great music, not too loud. Both the halibut and sturgeon specials were off the charts! Great service all around. Perfect way to celebrate our anniversary.
Bridges never disappoints myself and my guests.
It’s a perfect place to bring friends.
Food and staff amazing!
Sarah was the server and was excellent! Lisa the manager always assures this restaurant is running smoothly.
We dine here more than any other local restaurant. They continue to deliver excellent service, delicious food and a 5-Star dining experience!
The service was great. Very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen on the other hand- food took forever to come out, our server was continuously apologizing. When our courses finally came they were bland and seemed to have been sitting for a long time.
Would not dine here again
Was a disappointment for an anniversary dinner.
Love love love Bridges. Their patio is so relaxing!
I recently had a monthly group dinner and also celebrated an early birthday dinner with friends at Bridges. We try to go to a new restaurant every month. The restaurant was quiet, not sure if it was because a lot of customers were seated outside on the patio or that it was a Thursday night. Everyone commented that the service and food was excellent.
Bridges is always 5 star!!
Perfect place to brings your
Friends and family!
Still at the top of their game: inventive, fresh, and consistently excellent.
Stars would be closer to 3.7. Waiter personality was great but wine menu knowledge lacking. Food was meh. Pork chop was not flavorful. Swordfish was decent but not killer.
Outdoor ambiance quite pleasant with a wonderful live singer.
For the money, expected a little more in value. Will go back maybe in the future; worth a second look.
Sat outside and table next to us was a party of approx six who were quite loud. Was distracting until music started which helped overcome the noise of that family. Overall experience was great. Service was very good. Food was just ok. Had the swordfish and it was served a little cool for my liking. We still like the place and will return but feel it is a little pricey for the quality of the food.
The food was wonderful & the server was even able to accommodate a special request for a vegan entree. Service was excellent.
Ordered the Vietnamese por and shrimp appetizer, it was dry and lacked pizzas. The wines were $15 per glass. The grilled swordfish was good as was the kale Caesar salad. The dessert was a caramel créeme brûlée which was good, the double espresso had a nice aroma.
Th reputation of Bridges exceeds the experience. Will not return.
We went to Bridges to celebrate our anniversary. I had never been, but had heard great things. While initially the service was good, things became disappointing when our main meals arrived. My salmon was quite raw and my son's tuna did not taste fresh at all. The two other meals, Halibut and Ribeye, were quite good. Even though I immediately sent my plate back, my new fish plate was not returned until everyone else had finished their food. To his credit, our server, did not charge me for my plate. I think the problem was in the kitchen.. Not sure I'll return.
As usual our food was excellent! But the whole dining experience was marred by our waiter. He pretty much did disappearing acts throughout and seemed terribly bored. This is the first time we have had this happen and usually have a wonderful meal at Bridges.
Great food and nice ambiance .Always happy to go there
Nice hostess and waiter
Everything was decent/fair. However, I experienced sniffling, sneezing, allergy attacks throughout dinner from sitting near the dusty window ledges. Not quite what I had in mind dining at the restaurant made famous by the movie, Mrs. Doubtfire. I had hoped for exceptional cleanliness and something at least equivalent to (in food deliciousness and confidently excellent service) my favorite Danville spot - The Peasant & the Pear. The only dish that tasted really good here at Bridges was their Porcini Mushroom Ravioli. Will not return here for dinner but possibly for their happy hour/bar food, which seemed to be popular judging from everyone outside on the patio area.
Carefully prepared entrees, extremely attentive, but not overbearing service. Excellent Baby Kale salad.
Outside dining is divine!
Totally shocked by the poor service. The four of us have not seen such bad service in some time.
They need fans on the patio in warm days also ask pianist to play soft background... not time for a concert😖
Excellent meal! TV show “Check Please” was spot on. Highly recommended.
We asked for a quiet table, and they accommodated.
We both ordered the Mexican Prawns.
As usual, they were excellent.
Glasses of Trig Merlot were very good.
Friday night is our dinner date night -
we often dine at Bridges.
Loved everything. Outside music is always too loud.
Very nice experience. Our server Briann was on top of it!
Terrific lunches outside on the patio. Great service. Courteous, knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices. Did I mention the delicious food?
We love Bridges it’s one of our favorite restaurants here in Danville totally would recommend to anyone.
Thank you to Bridges, the staff and our waiter, Ben, for making our anniversary very special. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne, a wonderful charcuterie/cheese plate, the soup was excellent and our entrees were amazing. They even surprised us with a small dessert for our special occasion. Again thank you so much. We plan on returning soon.
Nice Sunday lunch on the patio. Leisurely pace, excellent service and really good quality food.
Our dinner last Saturday evening was one of the best that we have ever enjoyed at Bridges. There were four of us, and each of our meals was excellent. Our server was charming - even though she was very, very busy. It was a truly enjoyable evening out with friends, thanks to Bridges.
Our server was phenomenal. Cheery, attentive. Love the way the wait staff help one another get the entire party served at once. Great teamwork!!
Inside seating area was very very loud. The outside area with musical entertainment seemed nicer. Our only problem was that we were told we would be charged extra for a substitution of a vegetable with an entree. Unusual rigidity for a California restaurant.
Always a great meal at Bridges. Very underrated restaurant in Danville. Professional staff and high quality food
We had the mixed green salad, vegetable soup, with the swordfish, and halibut entrees. All were excellent! We can always count on Bridges for a fresh and creative meal. It is a neighborhood jem.
A lovely place to enjoy a leisurely lunch. Great ambience, adequate service and acceptable food.
our server was incredible ... the manager was awesome!
The food was delicious, the service was spot on, the cocktails were excellent and the ambiance was fabulous.
Great foood wonderful atmosphere outside with live music!
Situated in the heart of Danville's quaint shopping district Bridges did not disappoint even with my higher expectations. Wonderful wine selection. Our wait person was friendly and made us felt unhurried. Food presentation was good and the food taste was to the T. Great overall visit despite getting an unsigned handwritten nastygram by someone who decided where I parked wasnt to their liking despite no signage to the contrary. I parked in the designated Bridges lot. At least they had good diction and penmanship skills!
