Always a 5 star at Bridges so we booked for mother’s day dinner. Unfortunately we were not aware there was a special menu for the evening. Disappointed in the high prices, and limited options. Wish we had been informed in advance.
Great service, but the food quality was just not there. We've typically had very good experiences with the food at Bridges, but I would not recommend going there when they have the three course menu. My carnitas hash was cold and the fried egg yolk was hard all the way through. Disappointing, especially given the price.
Food was great, drinks were flowing, the staff was helpful and friendly.
Fantastic business dinner. Great service excellent bussing of food and refilling of water. Top notch.
The menu offered lots of choices. Both of our lunch salads were great. The staff was attentive but allowed us to enjoy our leisurely lunch!
I love Bridges and have for a long time. This day just felt different in terms of the quality of the food. Just just did not seem as interesting or fresh as I remembered but it was still good. The service was a little impersonal and rushed.
Again, to be clear, Bridges is one of the great restaurants in Danville. I will definitely give them another chance because they have always been consistently good. Maybe it was just an off day?
Food was not up to normal Bridges standard. Salty and cold.
Appetizers: The Beef Short Rib Tostada appetizer was amazing as the Firecracker Edamame was flavorful, with a mild to moderate heat level. The Chicken, Asparagus & Calbrian Chili Pizzetta fell flat and was flavorless.
Dinner: The Bridges Burger was excellent! Spring Risotto was average and the Pan Roasted Sour Cherry – Soy Glazed Pork Chop was dry and difficult to cut.
Service: We ordered appetizers and they still hadn't arrived 30 minutes later. The waiter checked on the order and said he submitted it but for some reason, the kitchen didn't receive it. They were finally served almost an hour after we were seated.
We ordered the Spring Risotto with Grilled Shrimp and were brought Spring Risotto with Chicken. We asked for mustard for the hamburger twice, and it was brought when the burger was almost finished. The waiter was not very attentive and we had to flag him down several times.
The Check: We provided the waiter with a credit card and specifically asked him to charge $80.00 to the credit card and we would pay the remainder of the bill in cash. The waiter came back to the table, set down the book with the check and credit card, and quickly left without saying a word. When we opened the book the bill showed that the credit card was charged for the entire bill, not the $80.00 as instructed.
It was a frustrating experience for us and I'm not sure that I would return at this point.
As good as it could be when dining in a parking lot.
Prawn with noodle salad is always great, but I tried the chicken sandwich and was
disappointed--not much flavor.
Great as always
I love dining here most of the time, however my dinner the other night (Mexican Prawns) came out lukewarm at best. My friend had the risotto and that was steaming. I am not sure if mine was waiting for hers to be finished, but it was definitely not hot. I could not find my waiter to tell him, so I just ate it. I did not want to sit around and have my friend eat alone while they redid my food.
Maybe it was a one off error, but just a heads up to Bridges.
I am so grateful to Bridges; they make going out to eat a very lovely and safe experience. Everyone was very kind, the food was exceptional and the environment was set up to be safe with tables separated and very cozy. They even had heat lamps outside in case folks get chilly. My party really enjoyed everything.......very happy and feel blessed !!
Everything was wonderful. Will definitely be back
Their customer service is outstanding! The food was delicious!
Wonderful atmosphere, service and food!
It is so good to be able to go out again and no better place than Bridges. From the service to the food and the amazing Doubtfire cocktail, everything was excellent.
always amazing! everthing you get there is always on point
Food is fantastic and the restaurant is in a pleasant setting. We will definitely return.
This was the first time we have been able to get together with our good friends over a meal since COVID 19 restrictions.. We sat outside and it was a lovely evening. They had enough space heaters to make it very pleasant. Our waiter was not on his A-game as he brought us the wrong bottle of wine and was not attentive to having the right utensils for one of the meals that was ordered. But other than that it was a lovely evening.
We had a nice dinner, outside. The tables were a good distance apart and it felt safe.
We hadn't been to Bridges since the shutdown, so we were excited to go for a pre-birthday celebration to see how it had endured. What a great experience! The food was outstanding, the ambiance was perfect/clean/safe, and the wait staff was very attentive. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts, Tostadas, and Lettuce Wraps and loved everything! We will definitely visit again. Thank you!
Good food great service.
Always great at Bridges!
Food very good. I asked for a better table;
didn’t get it.
We did not like our table. I know it was busy outside,
but table not suitable.
Bridges offers a wonderful dining experience and is a memorable adventure.
We had a lovely dinner at Bridges. Their outdoor seating in particular was really nice, especially with live music and tents for shade. Our meal was great, service was quick and efficient.
Had the pork chop, salmon and steak - all very good. Dessert was a little disappointing - Panna Cotta was OK but the mocha mousse cake did not have much flavor.
Servers were all masked and helpful.
All around great Neal at Bridges. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and I wouldn’t hesitate to order the same things again. Our server was personable and attentive. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
Quite disappointing. The dish was odd and the fish tasted past its prime.
Parking lot atmosphere and very very very noisy.
One of our orders was not done as requested.
This used to be a favorite place. No more.
Everything was Amazing. The service was great and my compliments to the chef...everyone in my party was enjoying their meal, from the New York Steak to the burger. I would not let my plate be taken until I finished my last bite. Will definitely be returning.
I love eating on the patio at Bridges, never seem to tire of the flowers, trees, water features. The food is good and often better than good. Our only problem last time was snagging the waiter....had to get the busboy finally to find him to give us our bill.
Our 55th wedding anniversary during Covid19, we enjoyed our cocktails in the bar and delicious dinners in the dining room. So happy to be able to celebrate our anniversary in a lovely indoor setting, thank you Bridges!
Beautiful outdoor seating out on the side street in front of the restaurant, with live music (Fri night).
I’ve been having lunch outdoors at Bridges often this year. They have a delightful setting, the food quality is excellent and the service is impeccable. It’s not the least expensive restaurant but it is thoroughly enjoyable and a great place to be with friends and/or your spouse.
As always, great food, great service, and the patio proved to be a fabulous lunch destination.
Bridges was an ideal restaurant to break the pandemic ice. My wife and I had not eaten at a restaurant in over a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff at Bridges all wear masks and are very polite and courteous. The food was excellent in both presentation and taste. We ate in the outdoor section. The tables were spaced well apart, it was airy and quite pleasant. We are looking forward to going to Bridges again in the near future.
Absolute pleasure to dine outdoors at Bridges. GREAT service, ambience, menu and so fun to FINALLY get to be with dear friends after over a year! Thank you to Samantha, our fabulous server!
