My favorite dish is the Mexican Prawns. I devoured my entree after starting with baked Brie and chicken lettuce wraps. My husband and son both had the Ahi Tuna. Everything was so delicious and so perfect. I can’t wait to go back!
My 18 year old granddaughter enjoyed her birthday lunch! The cheesecake dessert was gone in a heartbeat!
We had lunch outside and it was a beautiful setting . It was fairly busy so service was on the slow side. We weren’t in a big rush so it didn’t affect us much but was noticeable. Portions were good and food was tasty . Ordered dessert and got a totally dirty fork that was disappointing. I asked for a replacement and never got an apology or new fork. Would have been a decent meal but ended on a downer.
Catching up with friends. Great dinner!
We celebrated Father’s Day. The menu is consistent . Nothing too exotic. I feel for restaurants who have had to survive the pandemic. Our waiter was very nice but stretched. He apologized for the wait for drinks. The reality post pandemic dining ain’t what it used to be both in food and service. I hail to the people who are sticking it out in that business.
Otherwise dining out would be nonexistent.
I think we are all working out the kinks.
I’m sure part of the problem is staffing issues
Overall enjoyable just not memorable
Bridges is always 5 stars…never a complaint.
Food and service- thank you!
Always good. Love the current seating area outside.
Bridges is without a doubt a proven “go to” . Never disappoints very consistent and always a pleasurable experience. Our sever “Zach” was nothing short of “fantastic”.
I used to love this place, haven’t been back for a while and was disappointed by the lack of service and the immaturity of the staff. I sat for 10 minutes without anyone waiting on me after I asked a couple staff members to help me. The staff kept having side conversations, laughing loudly and it was really obvious that they were trying to organize for the dinner rush. It made it really uncomfortable for me, because I wanted my parents to have a good experience.
If the staff is going to have team huddles they should be doing it in the back and not in the middle of the restaurant. I pretty much overheard everything. It’s a young wait staff, but that’s no excuse for unprofessionalism.
With the new layout they really should put signs on the streets, it was very difficult to find with the roads being closed.
Hoping this turns around, and I hope my comments get forwarded to the manager because I’d hate to have another person have an experience like I did.
Great Shrimp Noodle salad. Beautiful restaurant with fantastic service.
We loved the food, which is always amazing. The service was quick and efficient and our meal was wonderful. The hand sanitizer on each table was really a wonderful touch. I wish more restaurants did that!
Love Bridges! But this time I felt rushed by the server. We were a party of 6. The food was great...wish the menu was more extensive or at least changed occasionally. The chairs are very uncomfortable. But I will come back.
Have gone to Bridges for over 25 years for comfortable ambience and good food. This last visit was a business meeting lunch. I arrived 10 minutes before our guest. The menu was abbreviated compared to the dinner menu. Service was polite, and accommodative, but slow at times. I also had to wipe away a spider cobweb from the corner of the window. Our client enjoyed her Thai prawn dish, as well as our appetizers (short rib tostada and roasted Brussel sprouts), which is the most important thing. My salmon salad was ok, although the kale pieces were too large to eat gracefully without cutting, and the salmon a bit overcooked. Dessert was a big hit, especially the mango sorbet and home made ice creams.
Always a great place to dine! Maggie was our server and was outstanding!
Terrible! Went for our Anniversary. First waited 40 minutes for waiter to come to ask us about drinks. When I did order a cocktail, the waiter asked me what it was made with because “they probably didn’t have the ingredients.”
I said I didn’t know he asked me for a 2nd choice just in case. I said English breakfast tea. He brought me chamomile. I got a shrimp noodle salad It was barely edible. Yuck! My husband got a green salad with salmon. Barely any dressing. Had to keep looking for our waiter just to get salt. Anniversary dinner will require a take-over this year. Bridges is off our list. So sad.
Very good food and atmosphere We really enjoyed your place.
Love this place! Hits just the right note of great service, outstanding food, casual yet fun for special events, perfectly timed dining.
Very nice, needed to remind waitress of bday celebration.
Amazing food and awesome service from Ben!
Good was delicious with a good variety of options. Staff was friendly.
I am so glad Bridges is back for dining. We were there for brunch. The employees are fantastic. The outdoor setting is pretty with great spacing between tables.
I had the baguettes with smoked salmon & avacado. I loved the flavors of the salad. This was an excellent choice.
We are looking forward to a return visit.
It was great!
Last minute plan turned out to be a wonderful experience.
We always love dining at Bridges.
Love, love eating at Bridges. So friendly and welcoming. They always want to make sure customers have a great time.
Selection of food is impressive. Flavors unique and balanced. Each dish just as beautiful as flavorful. Service was great.
Went for my Partners birthday. Location is Cute and very lively as there’s live music outside and tons of outdoor dining. Restaurant was pretty busy, but we had reservations and were seated promptly. Hostess was nice and friendly, was given the option of indoor or outside . We chose outdoor and had covering and heat lamps. We were seated at 7pm, and The waiter was friendly and We were able to order drinks and appetizers right away, but after that we didn’t see him for just about 50min. Food came out really fast as we order the truffle fries and chicken wraps. We had finished our cocktails and appetizers and had been waiting and didn’t order til after 810pm. SO got the NY steak and I got the sturgeon. Both tasty. Overall, we had a good tkme, tasty food, nice ambiance, alcoholic beverages to pass the waiting time, and nice dinner out surrounded by strangers having a good time. I can’t complain…miss being out and about. Maybe you’ll get lucky and get a different waiter.
Good service and delicious food.
Always great service and food.
I have been here many times.
I have been going to Bridges for many years for many Occasions. I must say the dinner my wife and I enjoyed was one of the best we have ever had, including dinners at many other Bay Area restaurants. We shared a Fire Cracker Edamame with a glass of Rose for my wife and Lake County Sauvignon Blanc for me. Then she had Mexican Prawns and Thai peanut sauce and fried noodle cakes. I had the Big Eye Tuna with forbidden rice. Bridges then gave us a dessert to share with a lighted candle. It was our anniversary. Our server, Chris, was really great, as were his helpers.
We had a fantastic birthday dinner with our daughter (birthday girl) and her boyfriend!
It was the first time we ate out in well over a year and a half. We chose to eat in the dining room vs the patio because of the cooler evenings. It was ideal! Tables were spread out and the staff wore masks the whole time.
Service was outstanding and so was the food!! Their appetizers were so good; we tried the chorizo pizzetta, roasted brussels sprouts with a lemon aioli, the edamame in a tasty sauce and their truffle frites!! All were outstanding!! Their cocktails and merlot by the glass were equally tasty!
We all loved our entrees too! We tried their burger, stir fry Mexican prawns, and my husband and I both ordered the special of the night which was a steak over roasted bell pepper, potatoes and brocollini ( it was truly fantastic x 10)!! I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their dishes!
Can’t wait to return soon and to eat in their beautiful patio!!
My food was delivered about 10 minutes after everyone else’s as it was ordered by the waiter incorrectly. My broccoli was tough. Overcooked at the top and raw at the stems. Waiter did not seem engaged, and didn’t bother to correct the bill. When we asked for a correction, he said he would make the change, but it was only a dollar.
The food was excellent. Good variety of choices on the lunch menu. The service was a bit slow, but that didn't bother us because we were not in a hurry. It seemed that perhaps they were understaffed. But all the servers were working hard and helping each other. All Covid precautions seemed to be in place. Social distancing, mask wearing, etc. It was delightful to be there and enjoy a delicious meal in a restaurant! Looking forward to a repeat visit soon.
Waited for 15 minutes for a server, the asked someone to send our designated server over only to wait another 5-10 minutes until I had to go to the hostess stand to ask who our server was and if they could send them over. Once they came over the service was good and the host comped our appetizer.
Very enjoyable dinner , pace was perfect, had time to enjoy our bottle of wine.
Food was very good, wait staff very friendly, the outdoor seating was very nice!
Birthday dinner with wife and son
Our food was great, waiter was amazing and very attentive. We had the Orange blossom Creme brûlée, this was the only meh item as it did not set and was super runny; their pastry chef should of caught this before burning the sugar top.
Lovely space outside but noodle with shrimp dish was mushy and the shrimp was not cooked through. I haven’t been there for so long and was disappointed. Ah well….there are many other nearby restaurants to try.
Prawns with red curry - delish. Paloma cocktail- yum. Would normally give more stars for ambiance but we got the tent area which had none. Normally outdoor is beautiful setting. But food and service is what matters more.
Came here for a nice family graduation dinner and was deeply disappointed by the quality of the food and service. Waiter rarely checked in. No salt and pepper, sparkling water was scarce and got my meal wrong twice. Not sure what’s going on but won’t be back again- sadly. The food at hopstone was better tasting and worth whatever more we paid at bridges. I do not recommend this establishment.
