Consistently good food & service. A little bit noisy due to the holidays but overall excellent.
The private party ruined our party. When we arrived, the noise level from the cocktail hour of a private party was so loud we had to shout at the host. Our table was in the middle of the restaurant adjacent to the kitchen but the noise was overflowing from the large private party. We could not hear ourselves to even have a conversation and then the party gave speeches and there was laughter and applause. At this point, I complained to the host and the manager came by to apologize and offer to comp a round of drinks. We had nice appetizers of a cheese plate and another of brie in a pastry shell....very nice and well served. The meals were served promptly and we all well presented and hot. I had the lamb shank that was delicious, others had the prawns and another had the salmon. Everyone liked their meals. The only special was an eight-ounce fillet that was disappointing and didn't look like it started as eight ounces. We had some carrot cake for dessert that was rather gummy and uninspiring.
Lunch for 6 was very good. Sergio, our waiter, did an excellent job at a busy time.
We had a wonderful dinner with good service. It was quite loud, but it’s the holidays, and they hosted many holiday parties that night!!!
Ben is the best!!
Main course was served not to liking of one of our party. It was returned with request that it be cooked to medium rather than rare. After long wait it was finally returned with no change whatsoever. Wait staff's only response was to apologize. Large disappointment after many many delightful meals at Bridges. Something seems to have changed and it's not good
Phenomenal experience for a holiday date with a loved one. Full course meal, beautiful decor and exceptional service.
Had dinner before the Liz Grant Comedy show at Village Theater
The salmon dish was stunning
We had a work Holiday luncheon for 15. The menu was scripted just for our party which was fabulous. Our table was against the wall so it was out of the way to not interfere with other diners. The waiter was also fabulous. Very attentive. The food was delicious (as expected). We had a special event cake dessert that the staff cut for us along with champagne. They even took Holiday photos of our group for us. A great time was had by all! Everyone enjoyed the luncheon immensely. Thanks to Bridges for accommodating us!
Our evening would have been perfect if we were seated in a more quiet section of the restaurant. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. We received excellent service from our server Lon Ray (?). For starters, we enjoyed the Adelsheim Pinot Noir , and a generous portion of shrimp/pork lettuce cups. The braised lamb shank was delicious and tender, (although we weren't too fond of the starchy pudding underneath it) and the filet mignon was seasoned perfectly. Chocolate mousse dessert was excellent and the complimentary birthday cupcake was a very nice touch.
Great meal! Met every expectation.
The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu.
very good food and nice rooms with comforting atmosphere.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with family in another state earlier in November and found ourselves alone for the Thanksgiving holiday. Although we did miss family, the new experience of not cooking and instead lounging, watching movies, and preparing to decorate for Christmas was a wonderful good time. It was a simple drive to a fabulous meal and then no clean up! The food was truly delicious...and I really didn't miss leftovers...much.
Fabulous! Great service.
My company was good I enjoyed the food and the wine
Seating a little cramped, but service and food exceptional. Even after the meal, it was certainly noticed that all employees directed a smile and a “thank you” for coming, on our way to the exit.
Bridges often times gets lost in the Danville hubbub of brand-new and "exciting" restaurants. This is a shame because even though it is not the latest, greatest, newest Danville restaurant, it is, by far, the most consistent and special restaurant in Danville. Carefully prepared and presented entrées and correctly and deliciously made cocktails. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed whether you sit indoors or out. Always a great choice.
Delicious food. Lousy two desserts.
We requested a quiet table as we have two hearing impaired people. We were seated in a quiet table location but shortly there after a large party of men was seated right next to us and we couldn’t hear our conversations at all after that. My husband and I ordered the lamb shank which was so tough and flavorless that we could hardly eat it. It tasted like it had been reheated and was quite leathery in texture. I wish I could speak better of bridges because our community needs good restaurants and at one time Bridges was among them. We will not be revisiting soon
Such a calming atmosphere at Bridges. The food was excellent, thanks Kevin Gin!
Poor service. Had to ask for water twice, ask for bread once and call the busboy over twice to remove dishes. Food was so-so and took forever on a Thursday night.
A most enjoyable dining experience with fine food and attentive service. We plan to return on a regular basis for a fine meal.
We had the salmon and Mexican shrimp dishes. Both were excellent.
The ambiance is still very appealing, the service is as expected, but the food quality was disappointing. Particularly in view of the prices.
Music was a little loud but everything else was perfect
We were the only ones seated outside, so, it was very quiet. Service was attentive and super friendly while still professional. We started with the brie, which was delicious. My husband had the lamb shank and I had the salmon. They surprised us for our anniversary with a chocolate cupcake for dessert. Wonderful experience. We'll be back!
Neighborhood Gem with live music on the patio, during the warmer evenings. We enjoyed the music and atmosphere. My husband really enjoyed his steak dinner. Steer clear of the shrimp and pork lettuce cups. The pork was ground up and was dry. Very disappointing.
Chicken dish had so much garlic it burned our mouths
Muddle of flavors on dish under chicken,
Not sure what it was
Special request ignored
Waiter disappeared after main course, had to flag him
Down to get check (abandoned idea of dessert and coffee since it took so long to find waiter)
Used to be much better.
Celebrated my husband’s birthday at Bridges. We enjoyed the Shrimp & Pork Lettuce Cup appetizer, salmon, pork chop and Thai shrimp entrees and sorbet and s’mores chocolate desserts!
The reservation process was undeniably simple and there was no wait for our table. We did seem to wait for quite a awhile for initial service contact. Once this began our meal presented was quite good. The Hemingway cocktail was splendid.
The food is always perfectly cooked and fresh. Ingredients are blended together carefully, creating unique dishes that would be hard to replicate at home- making the dining experience unique.
Great food, great service!
We sat in the patio area and it was terrific!
The three of us had a lovely lunch. Our waiter Ben was very attentive and personable. Our food was great and we had an overall nice time at lunch.
This was our first visit. Service and good were excellent. It was a pricey lunch. Had glass of wine soup, salad special, dessert and coffee. However we would go back again. Perhaps try dinner.
Birthday lunch was excellent
