We love Bridges it’s one of our favorite restaurants here in Danville totally would recommend to anyone.
Nice Sunday lunch on the patio. Leisurely pace, excellent service and really good quality food.
Our dinner last Saturday evening was one of the best that we have ever enjoyed at Bridges. There were four of us, and each of our meals was excellent. Our server was charming - even though she was very, very busy. It was a truly enjoyable evening out with friends, thanks to Bridges.
Our server was phenomenal. Cheery, attentive. Love the way the wait staff help one another get the entire party served at once. Great teamwork!!
Inside seating area was very very loud. The outside area with musical entertainment seemed nicer. Our only problem was that we were told we would be charged extra for a substitution of a vegetable with an entree. Unusual rigidity for a California restaurant.
Always a great meal at Bridges. Very underrated restaurant in Danville. Professional staff and high quality food
We had the mixed green salad, vegetable soup, with the swordfish, and halibut entrees. All were excellent! We can always count on Bridges for a fresh and creative meal. It is a neighborhood jem.
A lovely place to enjoy a leisurely lunch. Great ambience, adequate service and acceptable food.
our server was incredible ... the manager was awesome!
The food was delicious, the service was spot on, the cocktails were excellent and the ambiance was fabulous.
Great foood wonderful atmosphere outside with live music!
Situated in the heart of Danville's quaint shopping district Bridges did not disappoint even with my higher expectations. Wonderful wine selection. Our wait person was friendly and made us felt unhurried. Food presentation was good and the food taste was to the T. Great overall visit despite getting an unsigned handwritten nastygram by someone who decided where I parked wasnt to their liking despite no signage to the contrary. I parked in the designated Bridges lot. At least they had good diction and penmanship skills!
Not as good as it has ben in the past. Food and service has slipped.
Dinner with Friends on the patio. What a nice experience with live music on the patio. Excellent service and nice wine choices. This is our new summer patio go to.
The risotto starter was excellent, some of the best I've had. The starter salads were good and very generous - enough to share. The pork chop entree was very good, the chicken entree was okay, but not great. Sarah, our waitress, was fabulous. One of our diners was late for our reservations and Sarah was very accommodating about the delay. She was quietly aware of our needs before we even had to ask. On our way out I passed on compliments about Sarah's service to the restaurant Manager. The Manager shared Sarah had only been with them a month. Great asset to their staff!
Great food, great location, great service, great price. Will go back for sure.
Bait and switch situation! Received text stating "Happy House from 5pm -closing". However, they never stated that it was only in one section. We were seated in a dining only section (could not order from the Happy Hour menu). Terrible stressful situation. I will never go back or recommend this restaurant.
Always a great place for dining. One of the best patios in the East Bay.
The food was great service not good. We had to flag down the waiter several times. We were there for 2 and 1/2 hours just for lunch. Should have been around 1 hour.
The food was great and the ambiance very nice. The service was a little slow and lacking, but the food made up for that!
Lovely place to have a delicious brunch and listen to beautiful guitar music. Sitting on the patio was possible in the heat due to ample tables in the shade. Will be back soon.
Our food was excellent. My wife ordered the ravioli’s and I ordered the gnocchi. My gnocchi had spring vegetables which were super refreshing and a nice twist and it was a nice quantity of food. My wife’s ravioli’s were also delish. The truffles were really nice but not overwhelming. The dish also had a very nice quantity of food as well. There must’ve been 8-10 large sized raviolis altogether. We had a salad and a glass of wine as well and our bill came to $75 altogether so I feel everything was very reasonably priced as well too.
Lisa, the manager, is incredible and one of the hardest working managers I have ever seen. She’s answering the phone for reservations, walking around making sure everyone is happy. Helps out her staff by waiting tables, ensuring that the restaurant is running smoothly. Bridges is one of our most favorite restaurants, we will definitely be going back!
Great place to have our anniversary dinner. Well taken care of. Food and service great.
Great ambiance, excellent food and nice presentation!
Our First Times in Bridges Restaurant - we went there because of the movie Mrs. Doubtfire. Wounderful Evening, great to have been there.
We can always depend great food, great service and perfect ambiance!
EXCELLENT SERVICE, MOST WILLING TO PLEASE. WE SHALL RETURN.
As always, we had a delightful luncheon at Bridges. The patio ambiance was perfect and the Prawns with Noodles were wonderful as usual. Our waiter Brian was attentive yet not obtrusive and the general manager Lisa was as welcoming as ever. Highly recommend for an outdoor luncheon on a beautiful day!
Great food in a very pleasant setting. The outdoor area is also lovely.
My favorite restaurant in East Bay! Awesome ambiance and incredible food.
Great food and nice service.
Our dining experience was just what we were looking for to celebrate a special occasion. Ambiance was very nice, elegant setting but not too fussy. Waitstaff was very responsive, pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. A range of menu items gave everyone something they liked. Soup/salad course was especially tasty with a healthy salad and delicious mushroom soup. We dined comfortably indoors but outdoor dining looked very inviting. . . . next time. This would be a wonderful place to bring friends when you want to have a memorable night out.
We have been going to Bridges for years and their lunches and dinners are very good, however their Sunday Brunch was terrible. The eggs were way overcooked and the waffles tasted like cardboard...And their "fried chicken" was something you would get at McDonalds..
The service was good which is the only reason we're giving it 2 stars.
Amazing service. I felt like family. The manager went out of his way to accommodate grandma who arrived early and needed help. Our server Sara was the kindest and most accommodating person I’ve interacted with. It was an amazing brunch and I would most definitely come here again. Highly recommend the patio and live music.
We enjoyed our evening w one exception , the noise level in the sit down bar area was extremely loud so we moved into
Our table sooner than expected. I doubt this can be helped... just a loud crowd. Other than that we had a lovely time; the meal was paced to our liking.. nothing rushed .. great food great service .
One small thing, would it be possible NOT to remove our plates until everyone is done w their meal. It makes the other person feel they need to rush to finish their meal .
I ordered the New York steak medium, it was raw and did not eat it.
I’ve always given Bridges 5 stars across the board. We ordered, salads arrived quickly & were delicious. 45 minutes later we flagged down our waiter. Another 15 minutes & we had our entrees. Pork chop was lovely but the brussel sprouts weren’t done. We skipped dessert because it was so late.
Birthday luncheon. Good food and great service
