A great place for lunch or dinner - festive not fussy and a good, varied menu with seasonal items.
Usually excellent food preparation.
This time we both had filet mignon.
Both of us had upset stomachs after dinner.
We will avoid steaks here in the future.
My 96 year old mom's favorite place to eat and we love the out door dining!
Bridges is always a pleasure!!
I love bringing friends from out of the area.
They truly enjoy the wonderful menu.
It was all going downhill 15 minutes in and no drinks or appetizer orders taken ... then as I walked In to begin my complaint ...the first waiter I ran in to took over even though it was not his area and took care of us for the remainder of the night pulling us back from the brink of a poor experience on a needs night out . Great food , great wine and capped off with the first round of drinks on the House by the manager who dropped by to make sure things were back on track . Great recovery , we will be back .
Always excellent food and outstanding service. A favorite!
It had been more than a decade since I had been to Bridges. I recalled it being very good and chose it to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our experience that night was absolutely exceptional. We sat outside in Bridge's lovely courtyard comfortably shaded by mature trees and listened to pleasant live music. Our meals could not have been better, from an amazing Brussel sprouts salad with toasted quinoa and shaved parmesan cheese to my Mexican prawns in a Thai red curry sauce to my wife's impecaably prepared fresh halibut. Everything was delicious and lovely. Service was prompt without being intrusive. My only complaint would be charging $18 for a glass of Mt. Veeder cab (delicious) when BevMo sells the bottle for $36; that's more than a 300% markup.
We will definitely be returning to Bridges but next time we'll bring wine from our own collection and pay the corkage fee.
Petite hearts of romaine salad was pleasant with cotija cheese and pickled red onion strips. A Caesar variation. Risotto and ravioli entrees were delicious. Shmoors dessert was a nice finale.
Excellent as usual
Never fails. ❤
Outdoor is beautiful 😊
One of the Best Date Nights ever. Our server Nico was very good and his recommendations were spot on. William cleared and refreshed our table with us barely noticing. Our food was excellent and the service was fabulous. Dessert was yummy. We sat outside, not far from the fountain which is relaxing, and the live music was amazing. Definitely will come back.
The lunch menu is very limited. Seems unusual that you have not had romaine lettuce. There’s not big normal salad.
Our server Ben was excellent. He made our birthday evening event successful..the food was not tasty as presented... the presentation was excellent.. for the price we paid, not worth it. The lemon drop was excellent. Definitely will come back for the happy hour..
Lovely, relaxed setting on the patio. Food is always interesting and tasty. Menu contains a nice diversity of choices to suit any appetite or mood.
We love Bridges!
The staff is siesta a delight.
The menu is amazing.
Our dinner was superb! We discovered a price fix menu and gave it a try. The pork chop was very flavorable, German potato salad delicious. The salmon was made to order and tender. The salad had a wonderful flavor, as well as the dessert. The service was non- invasive, but met all our needs. The staff was friendly and engaging. We love the comfortable ambience of Bridges. It’s our favorite place for any occasion.
Visit with family from Arizona
Bridges is always a consistent treat for a special occasion.
Its been awhile since I visited Bridges. I am happy I returned. Its a beautiful place both inside and on the very nice patio. We were there on a Saturday night and there was a very nice singer there that evening. All the food was quite good. Our table had the shrimp with Thai curry, the swordfish and a special scallops dish. Everyone was very happy. Good wine list and well prepared cocktails. The service was good. My one slight negative is that the waiter did not really know how to pair wine and food. His recommendation of a pinot with the shrimp dish did not work well, at least for me. Next time I will do my own pairing. Nonetheless, a very good evening and at a restaurant that's been around and uses its experience to provide an very nice dining experience.
Friendly and not that pricie! Great martinis with handmade blue cheese stuffed olives.
Just Outstanding! A classic gem worth visiting time and time again.
One of our favorite places to sit outside during the summer for lunch. Food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing.
We have been coming to Bridges for several years and the food a service is always good. This time I came with my daughters and the too found everything to their liking. I would definitely rate Bridges a 4 + .
Birthday dinner with my wife. Great service
We had a great meal.
One guest had the seared tuna which tasted great.
I had scallops which was delicious too.
Our waiter was the best. He really went out of his way.
Sincere not canned.
Bridges is always a good meal
Bridges was great! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They made my daughter’s birthday very special. (And we love Mrs. Doubtfire!)
As always the service and food were excellent. definitely go back
Salmon is always amazing, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seared crunch with the perfect temperature and taste.
My husband and I both had the swordfish special. It was honestly the best meal we have had at Bridges in quite a while! That was because we learned to say "no salt" otherwise the chef has a very heavy hand, in our opinion.
This was a very disappointing 40th anniversary dinner! Our server was terrible!. He never checked to see how our dinner was. Our water was never refilled. We never got forks for our entrees. The coffee we ordered never arrived and we had to ask the bus boy to bring us our bill. We would have complained to our server about these things but he was never around! During the meal when we did spot our server he was chatting at the bar! There are lots of dinner choices in our area. This will never again be one of them for us.
Service was very good but food was disappointing. Very dry chicken breast with ok waffles. Several large pieces of egg shells on poached eggs, terrible decaf coffee. And to top it off you can hardly see the sign when approaching the front. Are they getting ready to close down?
Highly recommend the prawn scramble. My children enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The desserts were sublime! Our waiter was well-versed on the the entire menu.
Have heard great things about Bridges but must say there were a few disappointments for us. Apparently there were some new staff & our server was a bit distracted with our service while attempting to keep an eye on many other tables. A cocktail ordered before dinner had to be replaced & the after-dinner drinks were a disappointment. Overall the food was ok, not exceptional, as was hoped. Doubt there will be a return visit~
Brunch was very tasty! Two of us had the avocado toast with a poached egg, and two had the burger. I couldn't have the fresh mozzarella in the salad, so they replaced with goat cheese -- fantastic!! And my daughter ordered a drink that had club soda rather than sprite, and they remade it for her because she wanted it sweeter. We had a relaxed meal and were full to the brim.
Came to Bridges for a Bridal Shower, and they were very attentive to us. The host called me two days in a row to make sure there were no more special requests/ how to accommodate the special requests I had made on the reservation. I had requested to be seated on the patio, but they called in advance to let me know that the day prior many guests had requested to be moved inside because of the over 100 degree weather, and the party and I really appreciated that we were given the option to sit inside! Great restaurant, great service, and very nice ambiance.
Awesome once again!
We tried to make reservations for a Thursday lunch at 12 or later, but could not. When we arrived at 11:30 for our reservation the place was completely empty. No one except a large party waiting outside. Had a very nice lunch, very nice professional servers. But, when we left at 1:15 there were still many, many empty tables. Why we were not able to get a table after 12 is a mystery. We won't be going back and instead will stay in Livermore were are better served.
I took my friend for her birthday. Food and service were great. A perfect experience aside from the unpleasant hostess.
Gluten Free options were very limited. I did order the risotto, which was tasty and satisfying but the sandwich board had no Gluten Free bread. My friend ordered the hamburger, a typical American plate. She said the meat was dry and I could see that it looked to be so.
The environment on the patio is lovely but I think I will not return for the food and I need more Gluten Free options.
This was the half-way point for my friend and I to meet. I had the Pan Roasted Atlantic Salmon with a Moroccan Olive-Basil Oil on top of Japanese eggplant,Jimmy Nardello peppers, pole beans and heirloom tomatoes. Presentation was as outstanding as its taste!! I only ordered an entrée because my appetite was not huge. The Salmon was cooked to perfection and the vegetables had a slight hint of spice! Overall the entrée was light. We had dinner on the quiet patio which allowed two friends to catch up uninterrupted!
