I’ve always liked the ambience and the staff. Excellent service from our server, Kyle. The main entrees were bland though, although baked Brie appetizer and desserts were delicious.
Overpriced for the food. Waiter was nice and accommodating.
We went there for our anniversary. So I did not expect them to do anything special. However, they surprised us with a Cupcake with candle. Apologies for not noting the waiter name, he was excellent.
The food was delicious!!! We started with the baked Brie and lettuce cups. The Brie was so soft and creamy and was counter balanced by the honey drizzle. The lettuce cups were super savory and tasty, if not a touch too salty. We then had the special which was the duck breast and also the steak. The duck was perfectly balanced between salty crispy skin and the plum wine reduction. The steak was good, but not amazing. It was a solid choice. To end the night, the soufflé was absolutely a must. The toffee ice cream and pecan streusel tied everything together decadently.
the Food was very good but the service was horrible.
Unblieveable experience at Bridges!! Had a reservation at 5:30 and I was on time. After being seated and after waiting 10 minutes we were finally given a menu. The waiter said he would return with wine glasses and to uncork or bottle!! Never happened I had to uncork my own bottle while waiting!! I then had to ask a bus boy to bring us glasses! A different waiter brought our glasses. This same waiter came back and took our order 10 minutes later!! Eventually our own waiter return and we advised him that our order was taken!! Not once did he fill our glass of wine!! Really bad service and cold in the restaurant other patrons complained!! But the worst of all when I got my bill I was charged a corkage fee of $20!! Unblieveable!! I paid it but I did bring it to my esters attention that charging $20 for corkage for bad service and I did all the work was not good business!!
Edible joy ! Thanks to Nico as well for the incredible service with the entire team.
Bridges has been a gem of a Danville restaurant since the days of Mrs. Doubtfire! Pricy but worth every penny.
It has been one our favorite restaurants for 40+ years. Despite a couple changes in ownership, Bridges’ quality has remained top notch. And, as long as Kevin Gin is in charge of the kitchen, you can be assured of a wonderful dining experience!!
Mediocre menu and food. Very good waiter / service, but after 3-4 tries there, won't be going back. My steak was grizzly and the potatoes were poorly tasting. My wife went simple (soup and salad) and was disappointed in how bland the food was (especially the soup).
Food was very bland. I expected to pay more at this restaurant but I was extremely disappointed with the menu overall and the quality of the food. They didn’t have most of the items on their menu that they displayed on their on-line site as well.
I love the restaurant but the menu did not have enough selection for me. I am accustomed to coming to you during the week. We came on Saturday and the menu selection was not as varied. We loved the truffle french fries. I had the shrimp salad, it was goodb but was hoping to have a warm meal do to the cold weather we're experiencing.
The food, wine and service were exquisite, as always. Everything about dining at Bridges offers a wonderful experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Amazing veal chop. Delicious chocolate souffle. Waiter was great.
Great food ,Nice service, love the ambiance
Free valet parking , we Sat inside but their terrace in summer is lovely
Good food, great service. Never felt rushed.
The food seemed overpriced but maybe that was an uptick due to the holiday. My meal was the best I have ever had at the restaurant. Everything I ordered I would order again. It was delicious!
Valentine’s Day dinner was delicious! Of course the price was a bit high and menu limited but it was understandably a busy night and not out of the ordinary for Valentine’s Day.
In spite of the holiday, the staff was attentive and customers were all in good spirits. I had Scallops and the short ribs ordered by my husband were both excellent in taste and presentation.
We will definitely return on a less crowded evening.
Celebrating Birthdays staff made us feel extra special. Thank you Bridges staff
Early lunch on a rainy day - outstanding service, great burger!!
Great place for lunch! Wonderful menu and ambiance! Bridges never disappoints!
Nice ambiance, OK food and service, but not great. Way overpriced restaurant for the value.
We like Bridges. The food is very good and the service was great. The only issue is that it is a bit pricey with many entrees in the $30 range. Also, the corkage is $20 a bottle. We had brought two bottles so that was an extra $40 to the bill. I think they should not charge that much for corkage.
Wonderful service and the food very delicious!!!
The service was extremely slow - the waiter took 15-20 minutes just to get us our drinks. Knowing fully well that I am a vegetarian , the food arrived with meat . And the beer was warm !!!
Overall, our experience was fair at best !
Excellent as always. 6 for lunch and everyone was pleased with their order. Comfortable, quiet, attentive staff and excellent meal
A group of 4 of us were there for 2 of our birthdays, and we wanted something special. None of us had been to Bridges in years, we were pleasantly surprised how they've kept up with the trends. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. They did a good job accommodating special requests. We were all pleased and will returning the near future. Also, we would recommend the restaurant to friends.
Food quality was great with excellent service.
Vegetable choices were very limited for dinner - only one option.
I enjoyed the freshness of the Cioppino, the fish was not overcooked. The waiter was very personable and professional.
Came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and the staff made it very special!! Food and service was impeccable...thank you for helping me celebrate my husband’s special day.
It was the girl’s night out with my friend and her daughter. We ordered from the pre fixed menu (great food by the way). Half way through our salads they brought us our entrees... it seemed a little odd and felt rushed but thought that maybe it was a miss understanding since we had dinner at Bridges many times and had an excellent experience every time. We finished our meal and ordered cocktails, when the hostess came to our table and very politely asked us to leave because they needed our table for another upcoming reservation!!! We were speechless and it didn’t register what happened for a couple of minutes. We asked for the manager when we realized it wasn’t a joke. The manager, Tylor, was very nice and apologized, comped our meal and off we went. But it wasn’t about getting a free dinner. I still can’t believe we were asked to leave when we were still sipping our cocktails. WOW!!! We were in so much disbelief we forgot to tip our server who did an excellent job. I’ll make sure to go back and tip him but the hostess left a bad taste in my mouth. Didn’t expect this from Bridges.
We had a wonderful experience at Bridges today. Our server was terrific and the menu was very good, offering a combination of breakfast and lunch fare. It was not very crowded at 12:30 PM, which is a welcome benefit. I would definitely dine here again.
As always food and service was great
The big takeaway is the noise level spoils the night
Wonderful dinner wonderful time as always
It was very nice. Parking was the pits. The Valet was very attentive. The construction in th public lot was a distraction.
The time, attention, and food was good. We'll be back. A second service of coffee would have been nice with the dessert. But it was not offered. Aside from that all was good.
We ordered the steak and prawns. We ordered the steak medium, as meat should be cooked. We got the meal and the greens were like rubber so we didn’t eat it. It came with 2 small shrimps, not prawns. And the steak was very rare, so we asked for it to be heated up and it was still so rare that the meat had a gooey texture. We decided to not eat anymore and head to a local place for dinner. Note we live about a hour away from this place. On a positive side the staff was very nice and gracious but maybe the chef just sucks.
Bridges continues to serve delicious food. That is why we frequent Bridges!!
Always a pleasure to be in the comfortable confines of Bridges: from Colleen’s warm welcome, to a lovely presented lunch with a personalized Birthday dessert to a fond farewell from Randy, Bridges has never disappointed.
Ben is great and so is the food.
Food and service was great overall. Only disappointment was the parking where construction of a new parking lot underway. Had to park out on Hartz, plus it was raining...not ideal. Hopefully this will be greatly improved when parking lot is completed.
