Everything was well done with the food and wine being excellent.. The server and table staff took very good care of us.
Outstanding dinner. Interesting, unusual salads (shared as first course!) Wonderful lamb shanks and a perfect New York Steak. Outstanding service and fabulous desserts. Bridges is our favorite restaurant in Danville. It never disappoints!
They never filled our water again, the food was okay. The dinner came but no one had cleared the appetizers. The drinks were marginal. My chicken was hard to eat and tasted dry the dish itself tasted like expensively priced cheap Indian food. They really try with the flavors but this place is not as it once was. I used to love the food. Not so much anymore. It is a 90’s Asian fusion place that needs an update.
Came to celebrate our Anniversary. Food, ambiance and service were all good. However, the noise level was so bad my husband could hardly hear what I was saying from across the table. Typically, we've enjoyed this restaurant......end result we cancel our Easter reservation.
Amazingly poor service. Not even half way through our meal and the busboy is asking if he can clear the table.... I had fork in hand! Okay so he made a mistake, but throughout our meal this repeated it self three more times. Can't they tell we have not finished! The wait staff in general was less then attentive, really lacked class. Oh well, a classy establishment with second class service, to bad.
Pretty good entrees. I opted to go for the filet even though I told myself not to get steak at a non-steak house. It was fine and I preferred the sauce and sides over the actual steak. But still, it was creative and flavorful. But if you're looking for a great steak, go to a steak place, you know?
My date had the salmon (we actually swapped mid way through) and I loved the fish but didn't care much for the side it was served with. But still, it was a flavorful dish.
The desserts were killer: Mexican chocolate creme brulee and a peanut toffee ice cream. I'd rate the desserts were way better than the entrees.
All in all, a nice, quiet place for dinner with good food. I've eaten here for lunch a few times before and enjoyed it. Dining here for dinner left me with the same thoughts: nice and pleasant.
We've enjoyed Bridges in the past for special occasions, but this time we had unimpressive service. Our young man was nowhere to be found. We had to track him down whenever we wanted something. ( ie water, dessert, return an order)
Love the atmosphere. Food was great and staff attentive and friendly. Recommend a reservation during peak time. Outside seating when the weather is nice.
We were there on 4th March with party of 8 for wedding celebrations. But, I was rather shocked to see those very uncomfortable wooden chairs . It was rather shocking to see them in such a classy restaurant. I wish they would reduce their prices first before using those wooden chairs. We were so uncomfortable that we left immediately after the main course. We also had an old and sick person with us and it saddened us to see the pain on her face. We will never go to Bridges again.
Husband’s birthday dinner. Had a great predinner cocktail. Loved the Rare Bird, a little spicy. Food was good. Loved the tartar. I mentioned on open table it was for a birthday and they brought a special dessert at the end. Love this place.
Our waiter Ben was very professional, efficient, and personable.
A little pricey and the food was not outstanding. But all round, a very pleasant atmosphere and service.
Family and friends get together, ten of us were accommodated very well. Had brunch and it was a great menu something for everyone. But most got the chicken and waffles, excellent. Bill was reasonable considering the amount of people.
Great ambiance, fun cheery place
My husband and I treated my sister and husband to dinner for her birthday. We all ordered different entrees and each one of us raved about the dish. Great ambience and service as well!
Bridges is always a great place for meeting friends or business meeting.
Food and staff are wonderful!
Very nice patio seating!!
Love Bridges for lunch!
It was a lovely birthday dinner! Our waiter even brought my a cupcake with a candle at the end!
Took my daughter for her birthday. We had a great time; food and service excellent. Two office parties going on so was rather noisy but overall nice.
One of my favorite restaurant, the chef is very creative, the food is tasty and healthy, great service, we enjoy a lot.
The service was excellent and the food fabulous. We will go again and again!
A very nice location!
We arrived early and were seated at a quiet table inside as it was chilly outdoors. The service was polite and friendly but our server didn’t come by frequently enough so there were long waits for drinks and for ordering dessert. Everyone enjoyed their meal and had a good time. As the restaurant filled it got quite loud. I’d go back for brunch if it was a good day for patio seating, but try elsewhere for indoors.
Had a great birthday brunch. They effortlessly accommodated a party of 12 young adults. Outside patio seating was great. Only item - we brought in a cake - and were charged a plating fee of $2.50 per person. Was not aware of charge when I called in prior to making sure it was ok to bring in a cake. Should be more transparent and forthcoming about their fees.
Everything for the food was great and delicious with the exception of the special on the menu that evening which was filet and shrimp with sausage. It was an absolute big disappointment. The filet mignon was thin, pan fried, very dry and flavorless, with two very dry and bland shrimp (not large prawns) and the sausage was cut into very thin and small quarters mixed in with too many vegetables. When the waiter told us about the filet mignon and shrimp, we were expecting a nice thick, grilled to perfection with somewhat large, juicy prawns and creatively-cooked sausages. A huge disappointment for the value and for a 'special' on the menu in an upscale restaurant.
Wonderful restaurant. Great food, service, ambiance, and in a quiet setting. The free valet parking is very nice. My gin martini was perfect! It was a great Valentine's Day dinner.
Great meal! Had lamb and swordfish on Valentine’s Day.
A lovely eve for our Valentines. The tables were just a bit tight
Always one of the best in town
Valentine’s dinner on 2/13. Food was top notch as was the service. Restaurant was animated but not excessively noisy. We were seated right away and they were sensitive to my dietary needs (lactose free). I had sea bass special and he had swordfish and we both had starter salads. Good wine selection by the glass.
We are always very satisfied with your restaurant but this time, I was shocked to find the chairs are super heavy and very, very uncomfortable .
My husband and I have birthdays two days apart and there is no better place to celebrate than Bridges! The food is exceptional (ahi tuna and a very buttery fish with capers). Dessert was delicious and their Bulleit manhattans are wonderful. It is a place where one feels that they have really been treated well
I hadn't been here in about a year and was pleasantly surprised. I think the menu is better, more choices and the specials were very creative. Three of the group ordered the reasonably priced prix fixe menu which had three courses for $29.00. All of the staff were very attentive and pleasant.
Je n’ai pas été impressionné avec les serveurs qui ne sont pas attentifs.
Lamb shank was great. Had a lovely quiet corner. Good friends, good food—cannot beat that combo
It was a great food experience. I have the Seared Tuna and wife had the Crusted Salmon. Both excellent choices. I had an old fashioned drink, that cam excellent as well. Service was a little slow. We were seated in the far end of the patio, maybe that's why but minus one star for that.
The ambience is good and so is location. Service is ok. But for the price and occasion this truly failed with too much noise and the food was not great at all - NY Steak and Butternut Squash soup were just fine but the Chicken was really bad!
We were there to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and I would not recommend this place for such occasion as it is too casual with quite a bit of noise!
It’s wonderful for every day and special dinners. Love this place!!
Good food reasonably priced with efficient service. Quiet and prompt seating.
I've had many meals at Bridges...Not sure what happened yesterday but the spinach salad hardly had any dressing and the chicken added on was very dry. Really not good at all. I had a better salad at The Habit the day before for half the cost. I will call this a fluke...
My friend said their meal was okay. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the ambiance and service was great. I should have sent it back but this was a business meeting so I just let it go.
Bridges patio on a sunny day is always fun for lunch, happy hour or dinner. And when they have live music, even better. The food is always good and I love the fruit infused ice tea.
