Bridge Street Bistro is a 2nd and 3rd floor space above the Island Time Bar & Grill at the corner of Bridge Street and Gulf Drive. We feature stunning views of the Gulf from our beautiful bay windows and outdoor deck on our 3rd floor.     Loved it all, from the friendly helpful person in the parking lot to the great food and a chance to try margate fish. It was wonderful. Our server Brittany was delightful and so helpful with our wines and husband's allergies. A delightful evening, will be back, you bet.

    Great location and the food was amazing. We went with the old stand by’s - fillet and grouper - but they were delicious! Added the wedge salad, so yummy. And the view - priceless. Don’t miss this gem!

    We have been to this restaurant a few times before everything has been good. We went back again Saturday from the service to the food and we waited over an hour for our food and it was terrible and then our bill was charged incorrectly it was a nightmare dinner. Our order was incorrect waiter said he did not not write it in our order. Will definitely never go back again.

    Food and service was phenomenal. The ribeye and wedge salad were close to if not the best I've we've ever had. Definitely worth the money. First time customers, but definitely will be back. I highly recommend Bridge Street Bistro. It made celebrating my fiancèe's birthday, while on our summer vacation a great memory.

    A beautiful view of the Gulf from the third floor inside dining. The food was good but not outstanding but we were looking at the Gulf. One in our party had to wait for her salad as it had been dropped and needed to be remade. Things happen, so that’s fine. Michelle, our waitress, was excellent:(

    Bridge Street Bistro is located right across from the beach so viewing sunset while dining is beautiful. It was busy and our server was just okay. They were out of several of the draft beers on the menu and it took quite a while to receive our drinks. The wedge salad was delicious, as was the grouper. 2 ordered blackened grouper key west style and both were very pleased with the portion size and flavor. I ordered lightly blackened grouper with Asian sauce on the side. The grouper was not blackened and the sauce was not on the side. Luckily the sauce was delicious and the fish was not over sauced . It was served with risotto and roasted Brussels sprouts, both were outstanding. Overall the food was excellent. This was the first time we sat inside (as it was too hot for outdoor dining) and it is quite noisy. Would still recommend Bridge Street. Make sure you make a reservation just before sunset.

    They had to prep my salad twice, did not pay attention to server’s notes. Mt husband’s grouper was not even warm, asparagus old and stringy. Fried cauliflower dry and overcooked. Sorry to report we will probably not return.

    This place was highly recommended, so maybe we just hit a bad night. The view on the third floor was beautiful and nice and cool. It was very loud with the people in there. Some sound dampening or something would be helpful. The service, ambiance, and food overall were disappointing. It took quite a while to get our drinks and appetizer. My wife's drink came about 10 minutes after mine and the place was not very busy. Our food came out just after our appetizer so the timing wasn't great. The server seemed to be bothered and hurried when checking on us. Calamari and sauce were good. Butter was phenomenal. 3 Blonde Daughters Blonde Ale was good. Espresso martini was ok. Crab stuffed shrimp had a lot of breading and not much crab. I would not recommend. Brussels sprouts were good. Mashed potatoes were good. Red Drum was ok.

    The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. They put us at a table wear we could see the sunset while we were eating. Our server was great and friendly.

    We have frequented Bridge Street Bistro many times during our summer visits to AMI. We were a little disappointed this time. Our waiter was gruff. We were placed in the corner with a very limited view of the ocean despite being the some of the first ones to arrive with our reservation. I had a not-so-pleasant view of the derelict building next door... and the balcony where patrons and staff went out for a cigarette/phone break. The calamari was wonderful, but my crab stuffed shrimp were overcooked. When I ordered a second glass of wine, the waiter poured what was left from my first glass into my new glass. I was so taken aback! This just doesn't vibe the with the usual impeccable service at this restaurant from times before.

    Nice place but it’s upstairs.. Have to walk past kitchens to get there. Don’t arrive before they close though as you get all your meals at once and make sure you let your server know that you are ready to order, or they might forget you

    We were a little unsure going this time because our last visit was not so pleasant. They were having trouble with availability of items. ... not the fault of the servers but it was inconvenient. This time, the service staff were so nice, the food was great. We all had a wonderful time. Will definitely go back

    The last two times we have been here have been a little disappointing. We used to love their creative menu items and presentation. Things have changed. The food presentation is dismal and service is largely lacking. My lobster bisque tasted like tomato paste. My husbands steak was not flavorful at all. Did they change chefs or ownership?

    This was our first time at Bridge Street Bistro. It came as a recommendation from another couple who love it. For starters, the service is very good. But the rest of the evening was mediocre. Drinks were ok. Our appetizer- the cauliflower was good. For entrees, We ordered the grouper and the pork chop. The grouper, which is local, didn’t have much flavor. The pork chop was not good. The chef’s vegetable that came with both meals was over done and bland. We opted not to have dessert. We really wanted to love it but we won’t be going back.

    Absolutely amazing! We had the truffle fries, filet, wedge salad, burger and steak salad and everything was top notch! It also had incredible views of the sun setting on Bradenton Beach! Service was also spot on!

    Being a Friday we made reservation’s for our guest who were in town. A party of eight. Two roofer folks wanted surf and turf and that’s one of the reasons why we reserved at your restaurant.  We arrived at 6:15 PM to come to find out that I had no lobster tails. Which was a disappointment. I ordered salmon and then the waitress came back to tell me you were out of that.  We wanted to order the fish dip but you were out of that too. So it started off a little rocky. What we did order was very good and our server was exceptional.

    Haven’t dined here in about 5 years. Used to love the fine dining and energy of this restaurant. Unfortunately it’s not the same. The prices are very high and the food was , hate to say, pretty awful 2 of us ordered the Pasta Primivera, which had a watery red sauce, the fresh veg were peppers, which may have been frozen, causing the sauce e to be watery, the pasta was mush. One of us ordered a side of grilled salmon , which was so over cooked it was like rubber. The fish and chips had bones in it The bistro steak burger was ok The coconut shrimp appetizer were 5 medium sized and overcooked Our server was pleasant, she took our feedback and the salmon off the bill Said she would “let them know” about our concerns. There were 6 of us dining Unfortunately, no manager came over to our table. One of our worst dining experiences in a long time.

    We were running late. They usually take the last seating at 8:30 on weekdays. We were 20 minutes late. 8:50. They were very accommodating. We never felt rushed! The person who waited our table was extremely informative. Food was wonderful! One ordered the ribeye. Two ordered the wedge with petit filets. Others ordered triple tail Oscar! The bar also made amazing drinks. Overall, 5 out of 5!

    I wanted to love this restaurant but in the end, I was left with a feeling of “almost, but not quite.” It started well enough…great location, fantastic view of Bradenton Beach and the Gulf, nice atmosphere and decor. But the lengthy wait for a server to appear after we were seated was foreboding. Unfortunately, it didn’t improve with time. Lengthy waits for water glasses to be filled is the bane of my dining experiences. Especially when it’s 100° outside. Perhaps this is another sad documentary on the state of the service industry and the challenges with understaffing. Nonetheless, it’s hard for me to feel sympathetic when paying $50 a plate for dinner. By the way, the dinner itself was good to very good. Thus, the reason for my opening comment about wanting to love the restaurant. Unfortunately, for me, service is weighted equally with the quality of the food. I’d be hard-pressed to give the Bistro a second chance, given the quality and quantity of other options on AMI.

    We’ve been visiting AMI for almost the last 30 years and had never come across The Bridge Street Bistro - what a lot of wasted meals! Our steaks were done to perfection and the Lavender Tom Collins was amazing!
