Brickworks American Bistro + Pizza
What makes a great pizza? It starts with a great oven! Ours is an authentic wood- fired masonry oven where the fire has burned constantly since the day we opened. Modern gas and electric ovens cannot produce the intense heat needed - over 700 degrees - to achieve the crispy, smoky crust that our oven provides. With dough made fresh daily in-house, our goal is to make the best pizza in the desert!
In the mood for something a little fancier? Our famous sliders, pan-seared atlantic salmon, 16 oz grilled Rib Eye steak or brickworks fish + chips? Our chef's dishes are simply and classically prepared! You’ll find our appetizers and entrees well seasoned & hearty, never bland. The challenge? Build an interesting restaurant in an expansive second floor space that includes outdoor seating in historic Downtown Palm Springs! The brickworks experience takes place in an engaging atmosphere designed & custom-built.

It will be awhile before I go back, just underwhelming
Entrance was filled with seating and tables - no space to social distance as we waited for a table. Our server, while very accommodating, was not knowledgeable of the menu and wore his mask below his nose. Service was clunky and we were served warm beers. Burgers were quite good, but do not recommend the bland and overpriced pizzas. Do not recommend and will not return.
Out of town visitors looking to move here. I'm here frequently. One of my fave places. Socially distancing is great. Service is great. Prices are good. And I've gotten everyone's to be big fans of the cauliflower appetizer. Can't do wrong. 👍👍
Was good service. Great venue. Great food. A little more pricey than some, but worth it if you like good food, and are willing to spend a little bit more. It's definitely not over priced, like some " higher end restaurants" where you just pay for the name. Was very pleased with my experience, and will return.
Always good place to go love that its right in the middle of downtown and food is really good
The food was bland and felt like it had been frozen and reheated. We got a pizza and the crust wasn’t cooked all the way through.
One of the worst dining experiences ever. Upon arrival, the host said it would be a 45 minute wait. “Even with out Open Table reservation?” “Yes,” he replied. “We ignore these.” We heard this about 3-4 more times add people subbed. Not really sure how we got the points. E started as there was nothing available anywhere else. This was a late lunch around 2. Once seated, the service was fine, food, not great.
Happy Hour there according to the Sign was 2-6. They closed from about 2-315 turning away people saying they were closed even though by that point, there was plenty of tables.
I will never ever return and I would think Open Table should stop allowing them on their App.
A nice place to hang out with friends for good food and good drinks. Nice to be able to sit on the balcony. The food is usually pretty consistent, and so is the service. We ate here twice on our last trip there, and the 1st time was very good food and very nice service. The 2nd time the food was good and the service was lacking a little. Not sure if he wad busy, but we were kind of forgotten. lol. No problem though. A nice guy that did take our picture. Next time I am there I will definitely go again.
Brickworks is underrated. Our table of five ordered pizzas, salads, wine and beer. Everything was excellent, including the service. We will definitely return.
I tet to eat at this restaurant at least 1 rime when I come to PS, and in this case I ate here twice. One with my friend who came out here with and another person whom we met while here. This review is for the 1st night. It was wonderful. The food was good, the service very good, and for what all of restaurants are going through ambience is hard to come through, but it succeeded that night. Will go back again next time I come back.
Two of us for dinner - sliders to start snd a large pepperoni pizza to share
Overall good and tasty - chilli and Parmesan with the pizza was a nice touch
Always good. Service and food. Zach is very attentive and friendly.
The hostess acknowledged my wife’s birthday (as I mentioned in my opentable reservation ... not many restaurants do) and gave us a great table view on one of the balconies overlooking the boulevard.
Service was superb. Good value for the menu selections especially the pizzas. I’m on keto so I had the lettuce rapped proud Mary burger with a salad substitute vs the fries. My wife had the all meat pizza. All good!
Nice server. Nice ambience. Wasn’t crazy about the pizza.
Always enjoy the ginormous meatball!
Came for my sister’s bachelorette. The food was tasteless and the drinks were bad (Jalapeño margarita was way to sour). Our server was ok, he seemed very uninterested in being there. The manager was a very nice man, which is the only reason I’m giving any stars at all.
I made reservations for brunch at 12. When we arrived we were told they were beyond capacity and we would have a 30 minute
or longer wait. We were very disappointed and did not wait for the table. We have eaten there many times but was very disappointed with this experience. I understand these are trying times but they should schedule appointments appropriately.
Food was amazing! Service was ok they were a little busy but our waiter Justin was wonderful 👏
Balcony seating is perfect for a group of four. Beet salad with goat cheese, and pepperoni with sport peppers pizza was delicious.
Great place great pizza!! Right in middle of the promenade and Sonny Bono statue.
Excellent food and service! we will be back! Went twice on our stay in Palm Springs. Second day our waitress even remembered what we were drinking before we sat down! Fantastic. Thank you guys!
Great dining experience, definitely going back again.
Back again. We love this place. Great happy hour. Good service. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Love this place !
We made a reservation only to show up and be told by the restaurant that OpenTable overbooked them and that we would have to wait 30 min to sit. At this point we didn’t have a choice and they were unwilling to even apologize about this. We finally sit and they forgot to let the wait staff know we had been seated so we didn’t have anyone help us for quite some time. When we finally got service, it was fine, but it was as if it was our fault we didn’t notify the waitress. The food itself was ok, but nothing I would go back for. The best part is simply the ambience and location. I’ve have a hard time telling anyone to eat there as the food was not anything worthwhile and the service/experience was poor. If you want a poorly run chain restaurant feel with sub optimal food, then you might like this place.
Fabulous food and considering it was COVID they did great job managing
Excellent food, extremely friendly hostess and staff.
Really hot. Need more mist and few fans to keep guest cool.
Expected a better experience. The place was as hot as an oven, no a/c or fans working. Very limited menu. Not very friendly or personable staff.
Pizza was good and came out quickly, my friend ordered the meat lovers and said the pepperoni was a bit chewy. Friendly service
Our order was taken 30 minutes after seating, food showed up another 30 minutes later, food was mediocre, service was horrible, would not recommend.
Great service and food, very nice to head back to a restaurant and get same service as before
This restaurant has tons of potential. Food was served at the right temp and tasted good. Our waitress was superb. With all of this though, the experience started off poorly. The hostess was kind of rude to us upon arrival, and I saw that same rudeness to other patrons. The adage “you never get a second chance for a first impression” needs repeating. Other than that, everything was great.
Pleasant staff and delicious food. The pizza and salads are always amazing!
Great food and great service. Desiree was an outstanding staffer who made our experience wonderful. I would definitely go back and asked to be seated in her section.
So glad we found Brickworks. Always pleased. It’s now one of our favorite regular places to dine. Wine Wednesday 1/2 off bottles to go with the filet mignon dinner for two is well worth the price. Steak was cooked to perfection. Pear and apple salad was delicious as was the strawberries and cream dessert.
Once again a very enjoyable experience. Thank you. We feel like family and are treated nicely. Will be back very soon.
Glad we found this place. Been coming back. Quality is consistent and service is the best.
The staff went out of their way to make my family feel comfortable. Thank you!
