Always a good choice, very good food, good wine and very good service. Not romantic, more bar scene. Enjoy

As usual dining at the Brickside was great. My husband had the Lamb Stew and claimed it was the best he has ever eaten.
Definitely one of our favorite spots!

We go to the Brickside often--at least twice a month, but generally more. The service is great and the food is always very good. My meal on Saturday was exceptional--a pecan encrusted chicken that was sumptuous, along with candied carrots (not too soft, not too sweet) and very tasty wild rice. Add some fine wine at the beginning and come cappuccino at the end for an all-round enjoyable meal.

I go especially for the prime rib - great natural flavor and the au jus is not over seasoned. My wife likes the seafood and they have a top notch oyster selection. It's one of our regular stops. The bar menu is also excellent (prime rib sandwich, nachos, oysters...). Very comfortable but it is loud - filled with people having fun!

Interesting menu, definitely more than just wood fired grill pizza. Creative chef and lots of unique specials.

Family oriented restaurant. Good food and oyster selection. Interior could use a refresh. Would be nice to have a family section and a bit larger adult area. Never enough bartenders.

Our server, Michael, was pleasant and efficient. He was thoroughly familiar with the menu and specials. His wine recommendation was spot on. Although we have eaten at Brickside several times, we brought a "first time" couple with us. They were equally impressed with the food and service. Thanks for making us look good.

The meals we had were all very good. Service was good, also. The restaurant was pretty noisy and seating was a little tight ( tables were close together ). All in all, it was good and we will go back.

I can't believe this restaurant is in our backyard. The food was delicious and our server, Andy, was fantastic. We had a last minute business dinner and were accommodated quite well. Thank you.

This was perfect for my husbands birthday dinner celebration. The resturant was very accomadating with our seating requests (a table larger than our party so there was room for a cake and gifts, needing a highchair ect). The atmosphere both inside and outside of the resturant is wonderful. It wasn't very crowded and even if every table were filled, the area is large so it doesn't feel crammed.

Everything was wonderful from the fresh HOT rolls to the ice cream at the end. Unfortunately, the fire brick oven was not working so the pizza was not its usual best, which is not the normal. Very pleasant atmosphere, had a great time.

This was the second time my wife and I have eaten here. But for their error and omission everything was great.
Nice service. They allowed a move from an aisle table in their traffic lane to a booth. The booth was much nicer than being in the thoroughfare of waiter/ patron traffic.
Once in our booth the waiter was informed friendly. We sampled some beer before deciding on one. We enjoyed the beer we selected.
The bread was great. The oyster sample was great. The conch soup was good. The only complaint I have is that,THEY FORGOT THE BACON ON MY BACON CHEESEBURGER! I pointed this out to the waiter and she was embarrassed. Instead of bringing me a new burger with bacon, they offered to bring me a side of bacon! HUH? No thanks,I replied.

I've been critical in the past of Brickside, mainly because they failed to add vegetarian specials to replace their still broken pizza oven. Well the pizza oven is still down, but they have added a vegetable ravioli dish to the specials, at least for February.

We were there early on a Friday evening. The bar was packed and loud. My wife & I were looking for a quiet meal. When they tried to seat us in the area near the bar, we had to have a "discussion" to get a table in the part of the dining room further away from the bar area. After that, it was an enjoyable meal - good food & god service.

My new sweetie and I had a great evening at the Brick side. The food was very good and everything I expected. The service was flawless, the waiter was probably the best waiter I have seen in a long time. He did not miss a beat and he let us alone to enjoy each other. I love the mixed atmosphere of people. The bar area people did their thing and they looked like they were having a good time. The people dining were a mixed crowd of couples, families of parents with children, and small groups of friends. I love the fact that children are welcomed, they are just little people doing their thing... I give the Brick Side 5 stars... Good Job to everyone...

We have dined here for both lunch and dinner, but our favorite is the Sunday brunch, which offers a large selection of choices, including oysters and eggs benedict. They do offer mimosas. Add bellinis as an option for brunch and this place would be perfect!

Very nice buffet brunch at Brickside. Good choices and very good food in a very casual, friendly atmosphere. A nice touch is that you can order Eggs Benedict as part of what is included in the price.

Relaxing at a friendly, umbrella-shaded table by the lovely commons of Towne Center, with its gazebo, pond and weekly concerts, is a Chester County tradition at Brickside in great weather. But it's a cozy haven on a frigid night as well. Sunday features a terrific dinner special...a prime rib dinner, including the signature Caesar salad and a glass of house vino, for $19.99! The menu is creative, and dinners change monthly, with a core group of favorites always available. Huge and well made nachos too! Enjoy!

The menu is very unique but also offers traditional favorites. The oyster shooters are one of my favorites- I have never been able to find them anywhere else. The filet mignon is very tasty and they offer a very extensive variety for brunch. As always the service is A+.

Picked this restaurant to accommodate a group of seven people - some picky, some not. I let our server know when we arrived that we were going to a play that night and needed to be served promptly. I wish I remembered his name because he was GREAT! Every meal was delicious and served within a few minutes of each other. No one had to wait. Thank you Brickside!

This place is in our neighborhood, so we try to stop by a few times a year. The menu is getting a bit predictable so it's not easy to find something to get excited about anymore. Ended up splitting a mushroom pizza which was pretty good even though it was using gluten-free dough (they are doing this because the normal ovens are being refurbished). Had some black bean & turkey soup, which was a special, and it was very good - very salty and very little beans & turkey in it. The local stout beer I chose was not very good. It was a Friday night so it was very loud inside, with most of the noise coming from the bar area. Service was acceptable.

The food was excellent and the service was quick and efficient and the server was pleasant and professional. The noise level was high at the end of our meal due to live music which we had not anticipated. Though we prefer a good dining experience without live music, it did not ruin our meal since we finished dining just before the music started. However the music prevented us from lingering over a class of port.

Food was good but the worse service I have ever experienced!
Soup was ice cold, waitress never returned until the meal was over. One of our party paid in cash and told waitress to
keep the extra. Waitress pulled out the cash and counted it on our table
then pulled out her money bag and stuff all the cash into it while remarking she'd hate to lose any.
Very disappointing.

My wife and I have difficult diets - she's a vegetarian and I'm following a heart health, gluten free, lactose free diet. My wife used to enjoy their brick oven pizzas but their pizza oven has been broken for a few months with no end in sight. There used to be a couple of things on the menu that I'd be comfortable ordering but they have slowly been replaced or modified to include things I won't eat. Their daily and monthly specials used to have things as well but for the last couple of trips, there was nothing for either of us.

Normally the wait-staff is very accommodating but this last visit we got a dud. He couldn't promise that the kitchen could accommodate our request to change things even though we've done it many times before.

I have dined here before many times. Lunch mostly. Food is rather consistent. Not fabulous; not disappointing. But on Saturday evening it feels a bit lackluster. Lights do not get dimmed and it has the industrial feel it has during the day. Lunch is okay but dinner I will go elsewhere next time. Atmosphere is 50% of the dining out experience. Waiter nice; good service.

We have been to this restaurant many times and it never disappoints. String food and beer menu. Steaks are always high quality and perfectly prepared. Fish and raw bar are excellent as well but some of the sauces for the fish entrees are a little too adventurous and fail to please. Would recommend to anyone for a nice dinner at a reasonable price. Great food in a good atmosphere.
