Brickside Grille Ratings and Reviews
The waitress was very nice and the service was good. The buffalo shrimp appetizer was tasty but the clam chowder was more like potato soup—where were the clams? My husband’s prime rib was decent but it was hard to discern the crab in the crab Louis salad, although the dressing was good.
No acknowlgment of my wife's birthday, although I noted it in the reservation. Poor service, we repeatedly had to try to flag down the waiter who managed to avoid us verbally calling her as well as signaling when she was in the area. Food came out in a strange order. Prime rib was OK, but not the kind of cut you'd expect for the price. Dessert was very good.
We've been here before, but this was definitely a step down from prior experiences.
Brickside was festive, the service was friendly, and the food was decent. Their oyster bar featured a nice variety of fresh, delicious oysters! I also had a delicious Romaine wedge with house-made bleu cheese: the lettuce was crisp and fresh, and the salad was very nice. The Filet is great with the optional addition of lump crab meat to the Bearnaise. All in all, a very nice evening!
Brickside is a "go to" restaurant in the area. With all of the new restaurants in Eagleview Brickside still provides the best combination of food, service and value. This time we arrived early and took full advantage of the early bird food and drink menu which is a great deal!
This restaurant has not changed in 15 years. It is boring and needs a remodel. Needs a larger bar area to enjoy the live entertainment, bar and tvs. Menu is the same, wine list is mediocre. The same can be said for their other restaurant, The Drafting room! Brickside sustains itself on having a lovely outside patio. But the inside is still in need of a refresh.
A true, reliable favorite. Good food, good drinks, nice atmosphere. Fish & chips were delish. The Mediterranean salad with grilled shrimp was large enough for 2 meals. The suggestion from our waiter to get the pub chicken sandwich on the brioche roll was spot on! The onion rings were great, didn’t care for the horseradish dipping sauce due to a little too much thyme. We will be back
Five of us had an early dinner and the weather was great so we were able to eat outside on the patio. Even though it was early the restaurant was busy on this unusually warm October day. We had a variety of salads and specials. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Recommended.
Good dinner as always. I had the Crab Louie entree salad it was delicious. My husband had the pork chop which also was very good. One other diner with us had the pineapple pizza which was a special that evening also very delicious. We were with friends from out of town so it was nice to be able to talk in a nice quiet atmosphere and have good reasonably priced food also. We had a very enjoyable evening. Would highly recommend.
We sat outside this time and it was lovely. Our waitress was very attentive. My dinner (Mediterranean salad) was very good; my husband said his burger was "just okay". The pita bread that came with the spinach and artichoke dip was toasted a little too much so it was crunchy. Would have preferred softer pita. However the dip was very good.
We had a party of 8, 4 adults and 4 kids. 2 of us wanted drunken littlenecks and 1 wanted linguine and clams, 1 wanted the scallop special and 2 wanted prime rib. After ordering, the server told us they were out of all of that. Also when the appetizer of artichoke dip and pita chips came out the pita chips were burnt. They replaced the little necks with top necks but they were too chewy and were sent back. They did take those off the bill and gave the kids free ice cream. We asked to see a manager but one never came. Disappointing!!!!!! We like Brickside for the atmosphere and it often is a nice spot to go close to home but the meals are average at best and this time was a real disappointment.
Loved this place! I definitely will return WITH the kids. It's a quiet neighborhood and the square (and stage) is just across the street where our kids could go and play and entertain themselves while my husband and I catch up. The food was good BUT do not expect the menu on Open Table to match what they are serving. My husband was very disappointed when he found that the pork dumplings are no longer on the menu but appear on Open Table. We got the Nachos Junior for appy - and the Junior was MORE than enough of a starter. I was full before my dinner arrived! I ordered the Prime Rib- but it was sold out by the time I ordered it (6:20), So I had to change my order and got the crab cake with extra veggies. Very good. My husband ordered the crab salad and he really liked it.
Had our anniversary dinner outside. Beautiful night and live music. Both ordered brick oven pizza. Was disappointed. Wasn't anything special. Could have made at home. Dough wasn't cooked all the way and pretty tasteless. Service excellent. About 15 local kids running around outside kept running thru tables. Ran in and out of restaurant. Servers just ignored them.
