    Die Reservierung hat geklappt, allerdings haben wir 1 h aufs Essen gewartet. Die sehr freundliche Bedienung meinte auf Nachfrage, warum das denn so lange dauert, dass die Reservierung eigentlich gar nicht genommen werde hätte dürfen, weil sie schon voll waren. Da war ich etwas verwundert über diese Aussage, denn neben uns waren nur noch weitere 4 Tische besetzt und das Lokal war maximal halb voll. Man hat aber extrem rasch reagiert mit kostenlosem Sekt für die Erwachsenen und Furchtsäften für die Kinder.

    We met a colleague for a possible snack before the theater. As it turned out, we only ordered water for the table, but the waiter was very gracious and did not make us feel unwelcome. In fact, after our meeting, we stayed for drinks in the bar and it was great!

    Although the menu is limited, the food we were served was excellent. Whilst not cheap, this restaurant is conveniently located in the centre of Hamburg. The service was attentive and this establishment does not deserve the negative reviews on Google.

    We were staying at the hotel and very tired. We decided to try the hotel restaurant. The friendly service by May was a great introduction to our first trip to Germany. The food was very tasty and had a few different ingredients than we are used to eating. What we initially assumed to be sweet potato based on the color was actually pumpkin. The seasoning and presentation was great. I had a fish dinner with slices of fish, salmon, sea bass and cod. They were all good but cod was slightly dry. Overall no complaints and recommended. On a separate note, we got complimentary breakfast with our room. They have one of the best hotel breakfast buffets we have ever experienced. Very large selection.

    We went early in the evening which meant it was empty with no atmosphere so hard to comment. But it was all style and no substance, food looked good but taste was nothing to write home about. We left the place still hungry and having paid €8.50 for tap water! Wouldn't recommend.
