Brick Walk Tavern
The Chef's Table at Brick Walk Tavern is a must see. This is an intimate dining room in a very warm and sophisticated setting, allowing guests to be spoiled with an amazing tasting menu tailored specifically to your event. Please call for details.
Food and service where amazing
Why am I charged more for a basic (underpoured) martini than for a froufrou martini? The steak frittes are better called frittes steak. Huge mound hiding a less than menu stated steak portion
We had a very nice dinner, as expected - food was exceptional. We were there for a business discussion - at times the noise level was a bit high as this is a popular and very good restaurant.
We had a great brunch at Brick Walk Tavern. Staff were very accommodating as we needed to combine tables to fit our party, our waitress was very attentive, ambiance was fab, and most importantly, the food was delicious. Great addition to Fairfield.
I will definitely go back but will try to bring a group of friends, The restaurant was pretty quiet on a Saturday night. The food however is delicious. The menu is adventurous and gives a large variety of choices. I look forward to going back.
As always, everything was superb!!!! Menu selection is so varied and different it is like you are dining a two or three wonderful restaurants.
We enjoyed the evening and the dinner. The service was great, and the food was excellent. We have already recommended this place to our friends, and we intend to return again ourselves.
Everyone pleased with their choices. The spaghetti with meatballs was the best. Glad they now take reservations.
Love the food!
Enjoyed great meal
We very much enjoyed our dinner at Brick Walk Tavern. The menu was very good and the food itself was outstanding, something for everyone's tastes. Service was also exemplary and our server definitely went the extra mile to please the 5-yr old that was with us. The restaurant is in a very convenient location with plenty of parking available. This will be a restaurant that we will return to frequently.
Killer new restaurant - yes the hype is correct!! The smoked scallop crudo starter was scary good as was my salmon dish. Their wine list is small but good with some eclectic wines. They had a nebbiolo-based rose on special that night which was outstanding. We will definitely be back!
Wasn't anything special about the meal. Lacked seasoning on both dishes we ordered.
Best new downtown Fairfield restaurant. Has everything that you could want with great service, great food and great attention to detail. Don’t miss it.
We arrived early for our reservation but we were welcomed immediately and offered a table. We opted to sit at the bar for a drink first and then just stayed there for our meal. Very courteous staff from entry to exit. Menu variety was exceptional from Tavern items to full entrees. The food was well prepared and presented and taste was exceptional for both the swordfish and the scallop dinners. Chef took a few minutes to be sure we were happy with everything, which we absolutely were. We will be back again!!
EXCELLENT!!! If you haven’t been to Brickwalk Tavern you really must go! Fairfield is chock full of pizza, pasta, and burger joints - finally something different, higher-end and quality, yet not expensive !!! The only thing we’re missing is a really good steak place - with actual prime aged beef. Hint hint to you know who!
Had a wonderful time with my friends here. Staff was really nice and accommodating.
Although we felt the cocktails that we ordered were too less for it's price but was delicious! Food was incredible!!
The food was incredibly fresh and tasty! I found out they make everything in house, including the bread which was some of the best I have ever had!
Tried the Sunday brunch. We waited a bit of time for our food to come out and I was getting nervous. However, it was well worth the wait. The food was excellent!
We got the tenderloin medallions. I thought it tasted more like a pot roast than tenderloin. I was disappointed, especially at $33. But I would give the restaurant another try with something else.
The quality of the food does not match the price. Food is mediocre. I was not a fan of the wine list. Bottom line is that all four of us were not impressed. There are better options in the area for this price point.
We arrived a bit early our table was ready. We decided to have a drink at the bar first. The bartender Darren was very courteous and attentive. The bar area was very nice and festive so we stayed and had our meal at the bar. Both the appetizers and main course were absolutely amazing. Truly an excellent experience. We will be back again. Great job!
Great date night spot. Shrimp and grits were awesome!
The food was really outstanding with a number of very unique dishes. Appetizer special was the Greek taramasalata which was delicious. Their seasonal menu is changing this week and we're eager to see what changes are being made.
great food and service, location has good parking, nice bar
We've been to BWT a few times now and have been impressed every time. The food is simply delicious, and the service is as solid as it gets. The menu is changed often enough that I've yet to get borred. This is a wonderful addition to Fairfield and Fairfield County
Made reservations for Father's Day brunch (needed - it was fully booked). It was wonderful! Between the stuffed French Toast, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, BLT, and Corned Beef Hash, we were all VERY pleased. The kids had Warm Chocolate Cake & Ballpark Sundae, the adult enjoyed some really nice Cappuccinos. Will definitely be back.
Good and service was great. The only thing bothersome was the noise level. It was pretty loud at times. Otherwise we loved it!
Pricy drinks. $14 for martini. High end for Fairfield. Would at least expect a better pore.
Seeking something different, we decided to give it a try after meeting chef-owner, David and fiancé, Christina several weeks before. Menu had an eclectic mix of selections, with one, “spaghetti and meatballs” intriguing. This is not your mother’s spaghetti and meatballs! Four tender large meatballs of chicken and truffle with imported chitarra pasta covered with wild mushroom pesto and porcini jus. You’re not taking any home, believe me. Great bar menu and selection of wines and delicious desserts. Our waiter, Aj, was attentive and personable - great fun!
The food was ordinary at best. The quantity was very small for the price. The service was okay. Overall I think you can do a lot better.
Best meal I have had in recent memory. The New England Seafood Potpie was outstanding. Can't wait to have it again. My grandson wants us to take him to Brick Tavern for his birthday since he loves shrimp.
it was amazing the food was delicious and quick. 100% will be back
Fantastic food! Fantastic service! We love coming here and the food is always delicious!
