Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.
The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.
Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

I enjoyed dining at Bricco. We were not rushed . The waiter was very helpful and personable. Everyone there was nice. I would recommend this restaurant. The quality of food was worth the price!
Great dinner experience.
Terrific menu including generous appetizers.
Friendly, efficient wait staff and bartenders.
Expansive wine list
Worst dinner ever and price ridiculous!!! We are half italian and just deplorable
Food was amazing and Michael our waiter was even more amazing!
Service was tops, meal was wonderful, portions seemed a little light
Had a great night celebrating a family birthday. Our waiter, Enrico, was amazing.
He made the evening. Food was very good, but a little pricey.
Definitely will go back. A night in the North End was a great way to end the pandemic and start the summer.
Fantastic food - tasted just like it does in Italy!
This was a delicious dinner! The food was fresh and wonderful.
Unfortunately we couldn’t talk without shouting because it was so loud. The restaurant is gorgeous but could use a little more lighting.
The restaurant was slammed with two large parties and so our dinner did not arrive in a timely fashion...we accepted the delay graciously, but the service overall was not good.
The waiter did not attend to us as well as he could. He was indeed very busy, but this is his job.
Food and service were A+++
Great vibe. Attentive service. Just an enjoyable overall evening.
We were visiting Boston and wanted a true North End experience. Bricco was perfect- great table, excellent service and awesome food. Noise level pretty high but that’s what we expected in an intimate high energy Italian restaurant.
Amazing food and menu, worst part was trying to decide what to get. Menu was amazimg
Wonderful food, wonderful environment! It was the first time eating inside a restaurant at full capacity since the pandemic. And it was lovely! Had a fabulous time!
It was highly recommended by almost everyone we came in contact with from the cab drivers and the residents that were from Boston. We were from out of town so we were up to get down like the locals. After the long wait for our food 8pm- 9:20pm. At 9:20pm I was over it.
The food was excellent, however, it took 45 minutes to get our appetizers and then at least another half hour after we completed them before we were served our dinner. Only a party of 2 and was at least 2 hours before we left.
Love the atmosphere, wine and food! Best place in the North End for a date
Excellent staff and excellent food. Great selection of wine. 10/10 !
-Our appetizers were excellent, but we were very disappointed with the stuffed veal chop, their most expensive and highly recommended entree, which was way overcooked, dried out and tough. The wine was good and the service was okay (we had a trainee).
Sat outside and service, food, and drinks were outstanding.
Brought several clients from CA last evening. They were very impressed and the food was exceptional!
It’s about time I wrote a review for Bricco since I come here enough! Met a girlfriend for dinner and drinks. We were greeted like old friends from the hostesses and sat right away outside. It was beautiful and comfortable out. We were welcomed by our server who was warm, friendly and energetic. Espresso martinis here are some of the best in the city. Had the prosciutto appetizer which was delicious. She got the gnocchi which is her go-to here and loved it. I tried the wild boar dish which was *amazing*. Had a couple glasses of wine and enjoyed the atmosphere. Good and drinks are always amazing. Service is top notch. It’s a little on the pricey side and apps/ dinner and a couple of drinks can add up, but you’re getting what you pay for. I highly recommend Bricco, I’ve never had a bad experience.
Great service ... food came out a little slow because they were at full capacity. But understandable. Overal great
Good food poor service. Waited about 40 mins to get a drink at the table. Then like 20-30 or more mins waiting to put a dessert order in. The waiter never came back. We got up to find our checks and even that took about 20 mins waiting by the check printer. We were at dinner almost three hours...
We had a late reservation (9:30) and we’re planning on getting drinks and desserts. As soon as we let our server know we’d like to order dessert he removed all our menus and told us “we didn’t need them because he knew it by heart.” This was not very allergy friendly especially because he didn’t specify that one of the cakes had nuts in it. We ordered a round of espresso martinis and a few desserts which were good but overpriced. Our server took our order that one time and never checked up on us again. As soon as we put our forks down he dropped off the check—we were planning on getting a bottle of wine and more desserts but weren’t given the chance. When coming to pick up our credit card he flicked it back at a member of our party and told us they don’t accept that card. We obviously gave another card but it was truly the icing on the cake of an extremely rude experience. We were there less than an hour and spent over $150 to be condescended to. Our impression was that this server was sexist and ageist considering we were a group of young professionals and he was overly complimentary and attentive to all the tables around us. Not worth the attitude and price.
We will say the rest of the staff (bussers, food runners, etc) were extremely nice.
Sat at the Bar and the bartenders were very spot on with food and drink suggestions. Had a lot of fun.
Cold food, undercooked risotto, poor service, all around terrible experience.
The host wasn’t friendly, I reserved for an outdoor table, and I was setting inside in a tiny table.
Have been looking forward to trying this restaurant for years. Waiter and cocktails were great. Food was good, but not as great as I had hoped. Especially at the price point.
I loved the North End vibe. Great menu, the food was superb. My friend and I split an order of zucchini flowers as an app, I had the Pappardelle with wild boar sauce and my friend had the Gnocci, then we split an order of gelato for dessert. We chose to eat outside, I like the life all the outdoor restaurant seating brings to the city. My only complaint is that they didn't have any heaters and it was too cold. But that's a short-lived problem!
Delicious food and charming ambiance!!
Delicious food, attentive service, as always!
Food was delish, staff was friendly. Restaurant was extremely loud. Tables were quite close and the room was very dark.
Always a goto for family celebrations. It's nice to see the North End getting back to its old self again. Crowds picking back up. Outdoor, sidewalk-cafe style dining. Service was outstanding. Food always great. Simply a nice experience.
Bricco has always been my all time favorite restaurant in the north end & like always it didn’t disappoint!
I would have given it 5 stars but the host had a MAJOR attitude. Not a good first impression. The server was nice and made up for the rudeness we encountered at the hostess desk at beginning, we almost left.
“Unable” to make two of the appetizers we ordered. Then, ordered a surf and turf for dinner, medium. it came out very well done. I had to send it back. Brussel sprouts were cold. Was not given anything to clean my hands after cleaning out the lobster. Just all around not a great experience.
