    The food was OK yet over priced for the servings. Our meal was WAY expensive for five of us. I would not recommend Bricco and instead pick another restaurant in the North End. Service was average too.

    The food was overpriced and not good. The sea bass was greasy and had no flavor. The sunshine drink tasted like cheap booze. It was hard to get down. The best thing we had was the free bread.

    Food was delicious. Espresso martini (sun tequila for vodka) was amazing. Small space so table upstairs was practically in the hallway which wasn’t ideal but the food and nice service made up for it!

    We were looking forward to a Boston North End Italian experience. Despite having a reservation we were seated close to the door which made it quite cold. Tables were close together so the waiter was constantly bumping my chair when serving the table behind us. We ordered the Caesar salad which was OK (bibb lettuce instead of Romaine and the dressing was tasteless). For entrees, my daughter ordered pasta with meatballs. The tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. I ordered the veal chop which was overcooked and also somewhat tasteless. The highlight was the angolotti that my wife ordered which was excellent. Drinks were good but expensive ($19 for a Martini). I would not recommend going there.

    Absolutely fabulous meal. Great service and super energy. It was a Birthday celebration and they even treated us to the YUMMY blueberry cheesecake. I don't normally pick cheesecake -- I love it but chocolate is always my go to - and this was amazing. Fresh and so tasty. I'll be back soon.

    It is the North End but prices seemed on the high end! $55 for rack of lamb with 4 lollipops, no sides seemed a bit steep, $18.50 for lobster mashed potatoes, that were served COLD was excessive and disappointing. I would recommend Bricco, only after sharing my opinion.

    We were put in a small, charmless room, at the top of stairs. Even though there were tables on main floor. Was like we were eating in a closet. Food bland. Olive oil tasted rancid. $700 later, none of us would go back

    I had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Bricco. A definite must when in the North End! The Tortellini Pumpkin was so delicious, and the service was superb. I can't wait to go back!

    Very good food but staff unorganized, took too long to get first glass of wine. Food excellent. I would still recommend to guest but with proviso to ask for staff to expedite first cocktail.

    Disappointed to sit upstairs. Been dining at Bricco for years. Was wedged between two business party dinners and it was simply too tight, too loud and just strange up there. The bathroom upstairs is not comfortable. My server was far more interested in the table next to us. I work at the Four Seasons so may be hyper sensitive to service, but he was disappointing. He didn’t let us order 3 sides, we could have easily finished 3. Taking my menu away after I’ve ordered my entree is a mistake, the table is incredibly small but still. There were 3 tables behind us (4 top) that were not used at all last night. Why weren’t we sat in one of those? Instead we are sat down between 2 parties, can’t hear ourselves think and just in general it was an uncomfortable dining experience. The food was good and the service is less important than I’m making it out to be but the overall experience left something to be desired.

    Amazing service. Food was spectacular. The restaurant is very loud on the first floor. We were lucky to get a table in a smaller room on the second floor that was much quieter. Everything was SO GOOD. We’ll be back!

    Really wonderful food and experience, enjoyed the pumpkin tortellini and drinks were very well made. Service was very attentive but felt slightly rushed at the end as I hadn’t seen my colleague in a long time and we were chatting after our food was done.

    We loved our anniversary dinner. My pasta dish was a bit on the small side and that’s why I knocked off a star on value. There might’ve been five or six tortellini on my dish. Also, while it was very sweet, our server brought us a dessert for our anniversary. We didn’t ask for it, and normally that wouldn’t be an issue, but then they charged us for it. At the very least, we would’ve rather had picked a different dessert as my husband isn’t a big chocolate fan, especially if we’re paying for it. We didn’t especially mind, but we thought it was very odd and presumptuous.

    My daughter and I enjoyed her birthday dinner at Bricco. She had the tuna and said the fish was delicious and fresh! I had the short rib and polenta entree. The short rib was hot and delicious! We enjoyed the Caesar salads and the tasty and visually pleasing bread pudding with banana and strawberries. Our server was attentive and knowledgable about the menu. We’ll be going back!

    This was our first trip to Boston and friends recommended Bricco for my birthday dinner. Food was outstanding. Flavors, texture, portions, presentation, everything was A+. My husband’s risotto was served in a mini pumpkin. It doesn’t get better than that. Espresso martinis were great. It was an unseasonably warm evening in late October and everyone wanted to dine outside or by windows and the hostess ensured we had an excellent table right next to the open windows. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Price point was reasonable and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend!
