Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.
The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.
Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

Food was very good. Cowboy ribeye was amazing. Pastas were excellent too. Service was disorganized.
We had a lovely meal, drinks, & service. Swordfish, Seafood Brodetto, Pork Tenderloin and Brick Chicken were all delicious.
Food was amazing and inventive and well worth the price. It's not the restaurant's fault that a belligerent group ruined the ambience for everyone within earshot while we were there 🙄
Best steak that I’ve had in recent memory. Excellent cocktails! Energetic ambiance.
Slow service, but great food
Food is great; brought to the table HOT (not always the case). Chef is very flexible. Service very very good. We've eaten many places in the NE. Hard to find better!
So very happy with our experience at Bricco! Thank you so much!
First time visit celebrating my wife's birthday. Every bite was delicious- exquisite: Octopus, pillows, with sea bass & duck as the mains.
Our waiter was a consummate professional and very personable.
We are surely going back to this North End gem dining establishment
I love the food at Bricco, been there many times. This time, we could only get a late reservation, after 9. We were seated right away, upstairs. The table for 2 was against the wall next to a row of other diners. When I say next to, I mean it was like they were a part of our party. Could barely squeeze in to get to the side with the bench. It seems that the tables are jammed in there , like they are trying to pack in as many tables as possible.
The wait staff seemed overwhelmed, forgetting basics like grated cheese for pasta, silverware for dessert, another cocktail, etc.
Food was good, although my husband said his pasta dish was on the cold side. I think like everywhere else, businesses are struggling to find help. I will go again because of past good experiences. Hope it is better next time, so many restaurants to choose from in Boston, but we really liked Bricco.
Food was very good albeit portions were small. Busy restaurant so we were there for quite some time but the atmosphere was wonderful
Excellent service and delicious food!
FANTASTIC!! highly recommend. Service and food was excellent
Good food, open restaurant some street noise but it is the vibe in the North End, it is a keeper and we will go back again
Very nice ambiance! Cute little Italian place with innovative and upscale Italian fare! Would definitely go back!
Bricco was Suoerb!! The food, the menu choices , wine , service, elegance, the entire experience. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend the restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful evening with delicious food. The service was incredible too!
Disappointing Had to ask multiple times for things (bread, check) felt forgottenMaybe because we were outside ? Just not what I had hoped for on out night out
Took 90 minutes to get duck that was so disgustingly salty I had to send it back. Instead of apologizing the waiter said nothing and didn’t offer me any replacements. He took it off the bill but I left starving. Horrible food, worse service and will never be back.
Tons of good restaurants in the north end, spend your time and money anywhere else.
The complimentary bread comes with roasted garlic, a pesto spread, and some sort of bean spread. The garlic tasted old and the bean spread was bland. When we requested butter or oil for the bread (from two individuals), we were told they'd see if that was possible and then no one ever followed up. One guest had pasta with a red sauce, which was okay, no frills, not worth $25. Another individual had the broasted chicken, which was good but a little dry. The pumpkin tortellini was the highlight for our table, sweet and savory with the honey butter sauce, however the chopped tomato atop gave a hard chunky texture that did not go well with plate.
Overall the meal was mediocre and for that reason the prices were way too high. In an area full of competition, this did not hit the mark.
Outstanding meal. I have dined at Bricco many times, and it never disappoints!
As usual, the food and service was excellent. It does have a higher than average noise level though, something that should be addressed.
Very slow service, gnocchi and veal chop were fantastic, as well as the zucchini flowers, med rare steak came out med well, one other pasta dish was undercooked (crunchy, not al dente). Forgot sides, came out after halfway through eating, and the side of mushrooms came out AFTER we were finished with our meal. No manager came to the table. Server offered complimentary limoncello for the “mistakes”. Never offered dessert menus. Although the espresso martini is delicious. $550 before tip for 4 people, don’t mind spending the money, just wish it was better food and service. Maybe it was just an off night, I would give this place another try next time in town.
The Tuscan style food was prepared very well. The octopus was tender and flavorful. The barrata was not as tender as it should be but it was served with watermelon rounds and a light dressing that complimented it. The Chilean sea bass was bland. The parpadelle was delicious. The service wasn’t good in that we were not offered the specials, bread and wine arrived after the appetizers. The place could use some acoustic improvements as the noise level is very high making conversation difficult.
Great service & atmosphere. Food is very solid, one of my favorites in the north end.
Just a spontaneous date and our waiter made it super special.
Service left much to be desired. Ordered a vegetable side that came after our entree was complete. Also had to ask more than once for salt and pepper
Very good food. Desserts were exceptional especially the banana bread pudding. Service was first rate. When I told our waitress that I was undecided between two pasta dishes, she told me that I could get a half order of each—a much appreciated suggestion.
Birthday celebration! The food was great and service.
Went to Bricco for a birthday dinner, just 2 of us. I think the noise level is energetic; not too loud to hear, great place to catch up. Ricotta pillows were amazing, and the caprese was out of this world - extremely unique mozzarella. The only thing I did not love were the portion sizes for the amount of money the food was - specialty makes sense, but otherwise some of it was very pricey. Espresso martini and other drinks were AMAZING, though, and worth the price.
Veal Chop outstanding choice. Great service and drinks.. Bar great for dining at as well.
Food and service were amazing! Best Italian restaurant in the North End imo
Our waiter forgot about us. We waited 45 min for an appetizer and had to ask 3 times for a refill on my soda. Food was just ok.
Great food great service
Visiting from Tecas
The food is good, but not great. We had a very odd dining experience and waited over 45 minutes just to get our check. By the end of the email everyone was just so tired because everything took too long. Food was certainly good, but just not wow.
The service was fine and the food was good. Portions are a little small for the price. My husband had the espresso martini which was very good but it's almost twenty dollars lol. I hand the pineapple dolie which was ok but I've had better. We ate outside on the street so obviously it was noisy due to cars snd people walking by. Actually made me a little nervous sitting so close to the traffic. Overall, I would say it was good and would recommend. We needed a place with reservations so convenient to go there. O
Gnocchi was amazing and ahi tuna was excellent. So glad this place was recommended to us!
Only negative comment was our reservation was for 7:30 and we didn’t get to our table until 8pm.
Bricco never disappoints! Delicious food, wine and atmosphere!
Our server, Wolmar is the best! He always recommends the perfect
wine pairing with our meal and is on top of every detail.
He is pleasant, knows the menu and delivers excellent service all the time!
The food was absolutely amazing. The gnocchi is the best I’ve ever had. Super fresh. The waiter was fabulous - so friendly and helpful. Terrific lobster and meatballs too!
We had a great meal and fantastic service (Thank you Emilio). It was vibrant in there and yummy food. Great wine selection for super reasonable prices. Parking is the only drawback. $40 for the garage!
