Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.
The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.
Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

The Pasta dishes were sublime. It's not every day you can go out and be served fresh homemade pasta.
Every time we come to Bricco we are so pleased with the amount of love that goes into the food and the service. The waitstaff and support staff blow us away every time, whether it’s getting the crumbs off the table or keeping our drinks full. Thank you for being our favorite Northie date night spot!
The food here is so delicious. Our server, Jordan, was absolutely amazing. My mom and I were out for dinner and she let us take our time and did not rush us at all. She was wonderful.
Excellent food and service
Everything was delicious
The only con was being seated by the fireplace it was too hot but we put the coat to block the hot air and managed.
We sat upstairs and had Patty as our waitress. My dad and his girlfriend (both visiting from out of state) were able to join us, and were raving about the experience/food/service the next day! Bricco never disappoints!
Had made a reservation ahead of time for a certain time, our table wasn’t ready until 20 minutes past the reservation time, and we weren’t actually seated until 25 minutes past. Instead of apologizing or saying something customer-friendly like “I’m so sorry for the inconvenience, could we offer you a glass of water or wine while you wait?”, the hosts told us to move out of the way so that they could serve other customers and made us stand outside in sub-30 degree weather for almost half an hour, and gave us condescending tones whenever we asked for updates (no apology or acknowledgement of our time lol). This happened to another group of customers near us and they were also upset, so it’s not just an isolated incident. I just think that for a restaurant that is priced like it is, the customer service and hospitality should be much better. The only reason I’m not putting 1 star is because the food wasn’t bad. Also, the restaurant smelled strongly like bleach from where we were sitting.
A but upset because I was looking forward to taking my out-of-state boyfriend here for a nice dinner, and 5 minutes after they sat us down, they told us that we had to move tables. We sat at our (new) table for about 15 minutes before anyone came over to help us, although we did have a great waiter once he came over. Food was disappointing. Only thing that was good was the burrata, but the pasta was really below average for being in the North End...also not a lot of great pasta options? Not a terrible experience, but surely won't be running back anytime soon.
First time there. Will definitely return. Happy Holidays❤️
Had a reservation for a party of 6. We arrived early our table was ready for us. The food was fantastic and service was excellent. This restaurant is a must in the north end.
This is our favorite restaurant in the Boston North End. The food, drinks and service are excellent. The noise level is appropriate for a crowded, friendly restaurant.
Great spot for authentic Italian food. Extensive wine list. Staff is friendly and attentive. Good start to the Holidays!
We ate downstairs andit’s far too noisy. $56 for a $12 bottle of Mionetto Prosecco is ridiculous
Loved it start to finish. Very gracious check in by host and seating by hostess on a very busy night after Thanksgiving. Wait staff flawless as well. Loved it and look forward to returning.
The caesar salad was great. The short ribs were very good, with an excellent Parmesan polenta. The bread pudding was disappointing. Very good service from an Italian waiter.
Portions insultingly small (fritto misto barely fed 1 person), food mediocre to inedible.
I had heard good things about Bricco and the food did not disappoint. The octopus appetizer and the veal agnolotti with truffle sauce were amazing. The ambiance was nice and the service was outstanding. We had a reservation and there was no wait time. Great experience overall!
Great service and amazing food!!!! I think our server was Emilio , he’s awesome!
Outstanding. Bricco has raised its game!
Glen the bartender is a gentleman and the food is always a 10
Always a treat, slightly cramped table seating but the service more than makes up for that!
Greta food, great service.
Only issue: tables are literally 10 inches from each other. You hear everybody’s conversations and it feels a bit too close for comfort for covid.
Setting our reservation was easy with Open Table, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. We were traveling, and were not treated any differently from most other patrons who were wearing more cocktail hour attire. My sister was arriving later than us as she was returning our car, and they were accommodating to our seating.
The server recommended a pasta dish called Agnollotti al Plin with truffle sauce and my daughter chose Gnocchetti Sorrentina. We also got the Italian Cut Fries and it was all very delicious. My Agnollotti al Plin was tender and the truffle sauce heightened the veal and beef flavors.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely visit again!
I was not as impressed with the wine selection, but that could be me. I enjoy a crisp, lingering Cabernet.
Too expensive for the size of the portions and the food quality
Too noisy to enjoy meal.
Usually a great place but not this time. Very slow service and $140 steak for two not very good. Hopefully just an off night but with some many options not sure I’ll go back.
Food service excellent seating took a while we had reservation and we were trying to park it was a busy evening We called twice to alert them of our situation and they said they will keep the table we went in and did not have reservation
We come every year around same time. This time we brought our 1 year old for first time. They were great and accommodating. It was a great experience.
The zucchini blossom appetizer was incredible, very attentive service and warm, pleasant, comfortable atmosphere! Thank you!
Food delicious, service good, but noise level was deafening. Impossible to talk at our table due to ambient noise.
Food was excellent. Veal Osso Bucco was phenomenal. Zucchini flower app delicious. Polenta app was also great. Short ribs very good. Nice table upstairs away from the loud noise but it got louder as evening went on. One problem was parking. Website says there’s valet. There is not.
Great steak and great service
Our waiter was outstanding, if there was more waiters in the industry like him. He needs to train wait staff. Awesome
Great food and service. Little loud but not terrile. Highly Reccomend. Happening spot in the North End
Food was awesome. Our waitress Patty was the best!’
Food was excellent, as were the cocktails. Try the espresso martini. It was delicious!
Food was delicious. Waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and rushed. Not super attentive.
good food, good service, good atmosphere. food was definitely overpriced but not terribly.
It took a very long time to have a waiter come over and greet us. When he did he quickly explained to us the specials and then ran off. The food had no flavor, my lobster ravioli special was filled with potatoes and my husbands steak was not seasoned
While the food and service were great, the noise level was so loud we could barely have a conversation. We asked twice if it could be turned down and I think they may have turned it down a tiny bit but still was very loud. We were seated in what turned out to be the bar, I think the main room may have been quieter, but we didn't realize the difference until it felt rude to ask to change. If we were ever to go back, we would insist on sitting in the other room
Amazing ! Our server patty was truly a gem!
