Rooted in the historic Moore Square Park in downtown Raleigh, Brewery Bhavana is a gathering place celebrating communal beer experiences that exhibit the hand of the maker. Brewery, dim sum restaurant, flower shop, and bookstore, Bhavana is our love letter to a community that has given us so much.
We look forward to seeing you!
Fantastic food and service in an extremely cozy setting. Highly recommended!
You can never go wrong with this place. The service is unbelievably good and the food and drink is fantastic!
Mother’s Day dinner
Lovely as always!!
Excellent food and beer! Our server gave helpful recommendations, and the food lived up to the hype.
This is our go-to place when we have family in town. Decided to come here Saturday morning before the Artplosure with our adult daughter. Food and drinks were amazing and the service impeccable. We love this place so much my daughter had her wedding rehearsal dinner here with about 30 family members from out of town. Thumbs up Brewery bhrahana
Great, personalized service! Delicious food and a fun space.
Everything was delicious! I especially recommend the Bao dumplings and crab fried rice! Our server was Colin who was very attentive and accommodating! We will definitely be back!
Service, atmosphere and food were great. I had only been here before on an evening, so I was worried about if the atmosphere at lunch would be fun to bring an out of town guest. It did not disappoint at all.
This was my 3rd visit to brewery bhavana, I’m not sure what they changed but I will say the noise level has definitely improved. The first two times I went it was so loud I felt like I was shouting at my friends to even talk. It was still a little loud this visit but not nearly as bad, it was nice being able to hear each other (lol)
I don’t remember our waiters name but he was fantastic, the food was so so good (as always) and this was the first time I had ordered beer, I got a tripel the first round and a dark sour (patina dark #2) the second round. Both were very good, I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice date night or special occasion. Reservations are basically a MUST. The space is also so open and beautiful. It blows my mind that it’s the same space that Tir Na Nog was in. 10/10, would 100% go again.
Amazing food, service and experience. I will be returning very soon! Highly recommend this place for couples to try.
First, the ambience is wonderful. The place is bright due to the skylights and windows and the flowers, books and plants are lovely. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable and very Zen. The menu is split in little bites and then "a bit larger". There was two of us and we had 2 little plates and split an entrée. We had coffee, one of the specialty beers (the aesthetic of the taps hooked into a granite wall is artistic) and split a dessert. That was definitely more than enough food. We ate vegetable egg rolls and vegetable curry puff and split general tso's tofu. The egg rolls were perfectly crisp and had a nice bite. The curry puff was delicious, again, perfectly crisp and contains pureed cauliflower spinach and sweet potato with spices - it was a mixture of sweet, the crunch and a little spice. The general Tso's tofu had a little heat, fabulous sticky white rice and the sauce was delicious. The tofu was crunchy on the outside and soft almost creamy on the inside. The beer had notes of fruit and they brew themselves. Coffee was smooth and lovely - I wish the coffee cups were bigger. I will be back.
Amazing, flavorful dishes every time. Cannot wait to return and try something new. Their in-house beer, cocktails, service, and ambience is also fantastic, making this spot into something really special for any occasion or just to relax and enjoy yourself.
Stellar Place. Highly recommended. Great food, Great Location
Great night at BB. The beers and cocktails ordered at the table were all fantastic. The whole red snapper and each appetizer were also excellent and will be ordered again down the road. No our waiter was 5 star.
Amazing service, food and atmosphere! Servers are sweet and very helpful. Positive energy prevails.
Hands down the Dim Sum at BB is the best Sunday brunch in Raleigh. Paired with Patrick's excellent array of craft beer, this is our favorite spot in downtown Raleigh. Vansana & Vanvisa set the tone of friendliness & service that makes this an incredibly family friendly restaurant.
Excellent food and atmosphere!
Amazing, as always. Even my parents who don't always like new foods loved it
The atmosphere, food and service is top notch. We've been a couple times and I always look forward to returning. Next time I'm going to take a few minutes and also peruse the book and flower shop a bit more too!
My visits to this special restaurant have always included exciting food and flavors in a uniquely designed space. I look forward to my next visit!
I love this place. I always feel transported to another world when I come here. It's lovely. Very noisy, but that's the only negative thing I can say about it.
Had chicken curry bao buns and vegetable curry appetizers..... were amazing!!
Amazing experience, all food there is very well thought out with authentic flavors. Chocolate cake was actually the best thing I had.
One of the best meals we've had – couldn't have asked for a better experience for my wife's birthday! Beer is out of this world good, soup dumplings were an umami bomb, and the ginger salad was the best I've had. Service & ambiance are as advertised.
BB is absolutely a fantastic time, every time. The combination of charismatic servers, the incredible fair, and the company of great friends has made this place one of our go-to's. If you've never tried Brewery Bhavana, make a reservation now. There's nothing quite like it!
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service ... we will definitely be back next time we are in Raleigh! A must-see.
Brewery Bhavana never disappoints
I love this restaurant! The food is really good. The place is beautiful and the staff is awesome.
We love Brewery Bhavana for the food - great quality, taste, and just the right amount, ambience/setting, the service - staff are friendly, personable, and helpful, and the price. We come from Whispering Pines to eat there and tell all of our friends about it!
Brewery Bhavana is worth the hype it receives. We ordered 7 small plates between us and could not finish them but loved all of them! The service was wonderful, the flavors unparalleled and the ambiance fun and flirty.
The only thing that is a bummer - because of the hype - I made the reservation 6wks prior and the only time available was 8:30pm. In order to get a “normal” dinner time, we’d have to book probably 8-10wks out.
We had waited months to finally get a reservation here and I am happy to say it was worth the wait! We went for my husband's birthday and we both enjoyed every aspect of our experience. We loved the food, loved the atmosphere and can't wait to go back. The bao buns were our favorite and the lomein was out-of-this-world.
Food and service was great.
This restaurant is beautiful. It has a neat bookshop that includes beer and apparel items for purchase. They also have a nice bar you can sit at and wait for your table to open. This place stays busy so showing up right at your reservation time is recommended unless you’re ok waiting at the bar or shopping around. The food was INCREDIBLE and worth the hype. They also had great drinks and even delicious mocktails for the kids or nondrinkers.
brewery bhavana is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants to go to in raleigh
Excellent service and flavorful food dishes.
Always a great time here. Good food, very social.
Fabulous as always!
Well worth the 3 month wait! Everything from the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Only complaint might be the noise level, but it’s obvious they have taken steps to help with that from the pads under the tables to the panels on the ceiling.
