   50th birthday meal with friends. Our first experience at Brettingtons which was highly recommended for the best steak you will ever eat, And we were not disappointed. We were greeted with a welcoming smile and seated immediately despite being 15 mins early. As a group of 4 we sampled the pork scratchings as a while u wait, crispy beef and calamari starters Both were impressive served hot and full of flavour. For mains we had Rib eye or fillet steak, served rare to well done (sacrilege i know) all were cooked to perfection, succulent, melt in the mouth and very tasty. Accompanied with mushroom, blue cheese, hollandaise or peppercorn sauces (all of which were divine) Sides of onion rings, mushrooms and fries were great too. We also shared a ½ lobster which was moist, flavourful and the best we ever had. All in all ,we would highly recommend this restaurant if you want the best steak in kent and we will be returning. Brettingtons is by no means a cheap place to eat but for us as a special occasion it was worth every penny and couldn't be happier with the overall dining experience.    My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and chose Brettingtons in Rochester to have our meal at. This was the first time we had been here and it will definitely not be the last. The meal was outstanding. We had the chateaubriand and it was cooked to perfection. Cheesecake for dessert was also amazing. The staff were friendly and engaging and the whole evening was wonderful. Highly recommend.

   The staff are always so welcoming and the food is amazing. Great wine and food recommendations too

   Such a lovely evening for our anniversary they even took the time to say happy anniversary and gave us free glass of champagne each. Such a lovely extra touch. It was our first time here and have wanted to go for ages and it didn’t disappoint beautiful Resturant and brilliant food. Can’t wait to go back to try rest of menu

   Really good food.. steak was cooked exactly how I like it, the service was lovely and the cocktails were great 😊 definitely recommend!

   Cannot fault the service, we were remembered from our last visit and served a glass of champange to congratulate us on the birth of our baby. Staff are super friendly, service was extremely quick and food was delious! Couldn’t recommend enough

   The service was fantastic, attentive and friendly, and the food was stunning. We had filet steak and half a lobster which was absolutely delicious, the best peppercorn sauce! Really good wine list and my son adored the warm chocolate cake, and the 2 special passion fruit mojito mocktails. Highly recommend this restaurant - such high quality.

   I planned to tip the staff with cash. The service charge was added automatically. I also felt rushed with ordering.

   Had a lovely meal with my father , brother and his wife . The steak was tender and tasted great along with the truffle fries . We all enjoyed our meals along with great friendly service . We will definitely be returning Thank you

    Great service, great food. Second time we have been and we will be back again. Lovely little thoughful touches throughout the meal amd it was our sons birthday which made it special too!
