   We had the steak my wife had sirloin and I had fillet, both cooked to perfection of medium rare. Wine was cold and lovely, well worth the visit

   We have never been disappointed by Brettingtons. The food and service are outstanding. Yesterday we enjoyed the lunch meal deal at a fantastically reasonable price too!

   We had a great time at this restaurant. Service was excellent and speedy and friendly. Will absolutely go again.

   We have had many meals here over the years and never had a bad experience! Until last night. Starters were ok, the mains were definitely not to the standard we would expect from Brettingtons, lamb rump steak was tepid and difficult to cut. Steaks were over done and dry. I did mention to waitress when she cleared the plates and she said she would pass on our message to the chef. Service from waitresses was excellent as always, shame the food let down a normally pleasant experience.

   50th birthday meal with friends. Our first experience at Brettingtons which was highly recommended for the best steak you will ever eat, And we were not disappointed. We were greeted with a welcoming smile and seated immediately despite being 15 mins early. As a group of 4 we sampled the pork scratchings as a while u wait, crispy beef and calamari starters Both were impressive served hot and full of flavour. For mains we had Rib eye or fillet steak, served rare to well done (sacrilege i know) all were cooked to perfection, succulent, melt in the mouth and very tasty. Accompanied with mushroom, blue cheese, hollandaise or peppercorn sauces (all of which were divine) Sides of onion rings, mushrooms and fries were great too. We also shared a ½ lobster which was moist, flavourful and the best we ever had. All in all ,we would highly recommend this restaurant if you want the best steak in kent and we will be returning. Brettingtons is by no means a cheap place to eat but for us as a special occasion it was worth every penny and couldn't be happier with the overall dining experience. Big thanks to Claudio our waiter for his patience and expertise 😊

   My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and chose Brettingtons in Rochester to have our meal at. This was the first time we had been here and it will definitely not be the last. The meal was outstanding. We had the chateaubriand and it was cooked to perfection. Cheesecake for dessert was also amazing. The staff were friendly and engaging and the whole evening was wonderful. Highly recommend.

    Such a lovely evening for our anniversary they even took the time to say happy anniversary and gave us free glass of champagne each. Such a lovely extra touch. It was our first time here and have wanted to go for ages and it didn’t disappoint beautiful Resturant and brilliant food. Can’t wait to go back to try rest of menu
