To prioritize the health and safety of our team, our guests, and our community, and to assure continuity of business once this unprecedented health crisis is contained, my Partner, Chef Angelo Auriana, and I have made the difficult decision to VOLUNTARILY and TEMPORARILY SUSPEND THE OPERATIONS of our Downtown Los Angeles Restaurants: The Factory Kitchen, BRERA Ristorante, and sixth+mill pizzeria and bar effective tomorrow, March 15th, 2020.
We will do our very best to keep our loyal patrons and incredible dining community informed through our websites and social media as we learn more from the City of LA and LA County Public Health with whom we are in constant contact.
We are looking forward to serving you again very soon, and thank you for your generous support and understanding in this difficult time for our city and Country.

Terrific Italian restaurant in a beautifully renovated industrial space with creative preparations and fantastic service. The almond wood oven preparations are particularly appetizing.
Walking in, the staff was friendly and very nice. Overall, they checked up on us a good amount of time’s that we never felt rushed or as if they didn’t care. The food was all very delicious. We’d definitely recommend as a nice date or a small friend get together.
Service and food are amazing, you must try Risotto ossobuco. General Manager Jeff is very attentive to customers needs and to small details.
We will be back
Four of us ordered the swordfish and all thought it was very fishy. They mentioned it’s the Italian way and the sauce they use. Others ordered pasta and liked it.
Excellent food and service! A beautiful space for adult dining.
The waiter kept forgetting what we told him. He started to give my guests attitude. I have to help jump in and nicely refresh his memory.
There were only 3 of us. I told him our guest only eats seafood. My husband and I don’t eat beef. He just can’t remember that.
I've been here many times. the space and ambiance are fantastic. food is always good. great service. tucked away in the arts district but worth the drive
This was our first time at Brera. We went as a group of five while we were in the Arts District for another event. The somelier made a terrific wine recommendation - though she shares credit with the person in our group who works in the wine industry. One person ordered a dirty martini which took FOREVER to be delivered to the table. He ordered the drink, the rest of us got beer or water, those items were delivered, we ordered food, conversed with the somelier, got the wine, and then his martini came. It smelled like dirty socks and tasted like water so we sent it back. Ended up canceling that order since we'd already gotten the wine. I hate being "that" person, but if it's bad, it's bad. The waiter made no fuss about it and all was good. The food was very tasty - excellent lamb chops and pastas. I'd go again if I'm in the neighborhood, but given so many amazing choices in DTLA, I don't know that I'd make a special point of hitting up Brera as a specific destination.
Came back for a second visit. Food was very good. Service was very good. It's a little loud in the restaurant. Would go back again.
So yummy and comfortable as always! Can’t wait to come back. We love to dine here with friends.
Definitely not worth the price. The place did have a fancy feel to it but that didn't make our experience any better. The food was definitely a disappointment. Wouldn't go back.
I recommend everything! Professional service made our visit memorable- we had an issue with one of our items (a dish that was barely luke warm) and it was very appropriately dealt with- the restaurant came through above and beyond what we expected.
This was the perfect place for a first date. The food was amazing. The ambiance was perfect and service was on point. It is a little bit on the noisy side though. Overall I would definitely recommend and I’m definitely returning.
Went the day after Valentines Day and was provided the option of the set menu or the regular menu. I asked if the portions from the set menu were a decent size and the waiter said they were big but they ended up being extremely tiny and I left hungry. The noise level prevented it from being a relaxing dinner and they placed the tables in extremely close proximity to each other. To top it off, the legs of our table were broken and the table was unsteady but they refused to move us.
The food was delicious, the staff were very helpful with recommendations and the ambiance is great!
BRERA is an absolute marvel to dine at. The service is beyond five stars and the food was delicious. What else could you ask for?! I wish there was a bit more distance between tables on the bench area but it wasn't too bad. Just a preference.
