As most reviews note, service here is outstanding. Very professional staff with the appropriate level of attention & thorough menu knowledge. For brevity not going to list our order but taste & presentation all in the very good to outstanding range.
Will return.

Great find. Food was fantastic as well as the ambiance. We had the grilled octopus, chicken liver mousse to start and two pasta dishes for the main course. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Overall, great experience.

The first time I ate at BRERA, I really enjoyed it. It seems to have been going downhill since then. This past visit was a case in point. The cocktail I ordered (brutto negroni) was great and the bar service was friendly. Once we were seated at table, tho, things didn’t go so well. The crudo plate was dumped on the table without explanation. When we asked our server to let us know what was what, she couldn’t do so correctly. (Both apps we ordered were okay and the fritelle was the best dish of the night imo.) For entrées, one of our party ordered the seafood pasta and didn’t like mussels so asked for them on the side so others could enjoy. The pasta was overcooked and the mussels came cold. (I know they didn’t have to accommodate by sending them separately, but still... And it wasn’t particularly busy at the time so not sure why this would happen.) The rest of us had the ossu buco. The meat was okay but came in a lot of sauce that drowned the flavor of the meat itself and tasted a bit too much like bbq sauce to me. Desserts were okay but not wow. I keep wishing for the kind of great experience I had on my first visit and may yet return, even if just for cocktails and apps, but this wasn’t as good as it used to be.

Food is very good here and service is great. It's got to be hard to keep a restaurant running in Los Angeles. However I've always had great service here and the ingredients and food are great. Kudos to the management and staff.

Nothing good to say - Had a reservation, was using 10,000 points and was looking forward to discovering another downtown restaurant - Disappointed overall.

Normally a fantastic restaurant with great food. On NYE we both ordered the fish stew. The soup portion was just incredibly fishy and off despite the fish pieces tasting OK. Clearly the dish was “assembled” and the soup portion was stale or old. We sent the dishes back to the kitchen and they credited our bill but that was that.....hmmmm

We hade higher expectations for a Michelin 2019 restaurant. A bit disappointed of three dishes we ordered. Specially the Veal, flavor is not outstanding and tasted like sitting in a slow cooker more than a day. Love the interior design and services.

Food is excellent. The lamb and accompanying sides were perfectly prepared and complimented each flavor. The cocoa pasta with lobster, et al., was equally fabulous. The rib eye was well prepared with great flavor. The wine list had good selections, and the desserts were tasty. As for value, it is not inexpensive, but we are going back for dinner after the New Year.

Brera is losing it's edge.
We have been going to Brera (formerly known as "Officine Brera") for years and have really loved it.
On our most recent visit there has been a subtle change toward less quality and increased prices.
Still very good, but their kayretsu "Factory Kitchen" is now our fav.

Fantastic setting for fine eating establishment. We were worried about the location, but were pleasantly surprised by the find in the warehouse district. Service was impeccable. Battuta was even better. Definitely coming back.

We always enjoy coming to Brera Ristorante for special celebrations. In this case it was my husband's birthday. The restaurant has a nice industrial chic feel, the service and food are both great. The server forgot one of our desserts but quickly brought it out after we told the server, and they also did not charge us for the dessert. I do wish they expand the menu more to include more varieties instead of a simple menu. People are looking for varieties and feel limited when the menu is over simplified.

Pretheater dinner. And the cacao lobster pasta. Not very much pasta at all, which was perfect for me. If you are looking for more, pasta this is not the dish. Flavors were amazing. Great appetizers as well.

Our dining experience at Brera was one of our best ever. We started with the Caesar salad, which was far beyond any Caesar I'd ever had. - rich and tasty and it had anchovies, which Caesar salads are supposed to have, but you just never see anymore. And it was a big salad - the three of us split it.

My wife had a meat pasta dish, which we were invited to taste and it was delicious. And our friend and I both ordered the osso bucci. I've had osso bucco at a fine restaurant in Italy; this was every bit as good. The meat was perfectly seasoned and literally fell off the bone. Oh, and I nearly forgot the Gentleman's Breakfast cocktail with the bone marrow-infused bourbon. Wonderful!

Brera is just a sensationally good restaurant. We're recommending it to all of our friends who love Italian food, and plan to return soon and often.

We had an AMAZING time tonight. The food was truly some of the best we’ve ever experienced - and that’s saying something considering we eat out A LOT. We’ve been to some of the best restaurants in LA, NY, Chicago, Italy, etc. and have to say we were absolutely wowed! Our server, PARIS, was amazing and guided us through the menus like a champ, and helped answer all of our questions. She is a big part of what made tonight special. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks so much!!

Other than the overall look and vibe, this restaurant has sadly changed completely from the first three times I went way back, and not for the better.

I went the other night with my good friend and her sister. Right off the bat we were early for our table but waited past the reservation time to be seated. When we did, we had one menu for the three of us, no drinks menu. After I walked over and asked for more menus, which I was handed with no "sorry about that" or anything, we were approached and asked about starting with drinks... without any sort of welcome and without realizing we didn't have the drinks menu. Already the tone for the night had been set unfortunately.

After we got the drinks sorted out, we asked about additional vegetarian options, as there were very few on the menu. Our clueless waiter just started listing off... the vegetarian options we had already read. When asked if we could just add mushrooms to a simple pasta dish, he seemed confused as to which mushrooms they had and if they could be added. We just gave up and ordered what there was, if only to move things along.

The food finally came out (we got the gnocchi, spaghettoni, and mafaldine) and no one was blown away with their choices. And remember, I've come before where everything was phenomenal. When the manager came around to ask if everything was okay, with a very reluctant energy I may add, we were honest in our feedback; but his half assed response was to drop his name the "next time" we come by so he can hook us up somehow. Like bro, do we sound like we're planning a "next time"?

So sad to say that that was the last time I'll be going to or recommending Brera. Shame because the place still has a cool vibe; but the service (or lack thereof) and the mediocre food really ruined that.

Excellent Italian food, but not American spaghetti and meat sauce Italian food. Italian food you can't pronounce but you want to try anyway!!! Very, very helpful service staff. They happily explained anything we had questions about.

Fantastic venue and overall a great experience with fantastic food!
