I was visiting on a very quiet day so it wasn’t too busy. Loved the ambiance, loved the food. Definitely coming back to try more items off the menu. Perfect date night restaurant!
Always a great spot
Brera was excellent. The food was amazingly well prepared. Fresh quality ingredients, prepared for natural flavor rather than spice or sauces, were refreshing. Service was excellent. We ordered small plates, pastas, seafood, steaks and beef, and desserts, and a couple of bottles of red. The term often expressed was exceptional. And the pricing was not excessive, comparable to quality DTLA Restaurants, but a cut above in food, service, and experience.
Great atmosphere but the food came out luke warm and needing more seasoning. It was good to try somewhere new but for the price and quality of food I wouldn't recommend it.
The food was awesome. Service was too slow. We sat for a good 20 minutes before a manager came over to ask if we want to order drinks.
Sadly, the food here is just not as good as it used to be.
Still a good place to entertain and always good food.
Seems like the portion of the food are smaller and the menu selection was smaller as well.
We had a great lunch for 4 at Brera. We've been at Brera for lunch and dinner several times before. This was a very nice lunch, when it is quieter. Among the four of us, we had 2 roasted chicken entrees, one caesar salad, one market salad, and two great pastas. We'll be back.
Terrific use of both indoor and outdoor space. Stylish decor. Friendly and professional service. Food was amazing as were the hand-crafted cocktails.
Brera is AMAZING.
Its atmosphere is classy without being pretentious
Its food is refined but still hearty good sized portions.
Its service is attentive and polite without being annoying.
Class act from the top to bottom.
BRERA is HANDS DOWN my favorite restaurant in LA!Beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere, great for groups or special date nights, food is AMAZING!! Service is engaged and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back!
My second visit since January. Such a fabulous place!
Great service and selections. Nice space and also you want me to do 50 characters so I wrote more
Brera has always been our ‘go to’ restaurant for special occasions. We have always had a good experience when we visit! Love their chickpea pancake; which is not on the menu but we always get it. Also their polpo, gnocchi, risotto are always good. Their meat and fish dishes are also good but does change with the seasons. Do remember to leave space for dessert as they are 😋
Wow amazing food and superb service. I really felt catered to by the staff. Our server Paris was great, she explained the menu and suggested great plates. Our water was kept full and after each plate our table was cleared and wiped before a new set of plates and silverware was brought out to us. The food was omg delicious, definitely can't wait to come out here again. We had the squash blossoms, cocoa pasta and duck risotto. Dessert was the nugget fudge one. Yum.
My go to restaurant in the Arts district. Food consistently fabulous. Menu changes daily.
Nice interior, food was good but a little pricey. Expected better trained staff and execution of meal service. We didn't share but food came out at different time. Little awkward for a business lunch for 5 people.
The service was really good and definitely meet my expectations.
Excellent dining experience. Only disappointment: requested table in the main area for birthday celebration and were not accomodated.
Elevated Italian. Rich, delicious dishes make not huge pasta portions unnecessary. Everything is so decadent and layered. Inventive negroni options, nice wine list, great setting and ambiance and killer desserts. Top notch.
Love this place - inside or out of the cozy patio! A DTLA fav destination
This was my second time dining at BRERA and it did not disappoint. I made a reservation to celebrate my sister and moms birthday and they both loved it.
Great place. Went there for a first date and loved it. Be careful parking on the street after 8pm. I got a $93 ticket :/
The food was not good at all. They are trying to be like Bestia but the quality of food & the taste is bad.
Authentic & creative. Can't get a bad dish at Brera. So good.
Excellent video be. Big open space with a view into the kitchen. Best Risotto EVER. The meat is perfection.
The food is great, some of the best in the city. But great Italian isn't too hard to find in LA, and there are other options with as-good food and far better service. I'd recommend one of those.
Server worked with us nicely to get to the theatre on time.
We’ll be back!
Always great. Owners are always around making you feel special
We usually go to factory kitchen but chose Berra this time as we had guests from out of town and wanted a quieter venue. We had been there before and had a good experience The noise level and atmosphere were perfect. While most of the food was good my risotto was desperate for salt. And no one complained but no one raved about the food either. The service was the main irritant if the evening. Bar service was extremely slow we didn’t get our cocktails until just before the first course arrived. Our server was quite brusque and somewhat rude. It felt like an imposition to ask questions. My coffee at the end arrived after the check after an extremely long wait. We had actually given up on it I had ordered decaf and still awake a 3:00 am wondered if it was caffeinated. All in all not a great experience. I dont’t think we’ll be back
Outstanding food, good cocktails, friendly service. Great for date night before hitting the club.
They changed their menu and portions. Really disappointed. I hope they didnt do the same thing to their sister operation Factory Kitchen.
We have been there before and liked it, but this time were disappointed by the food.
This is one of the best, if not the best, Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. The combination of ambience, service, and culinary skills creates a superb dining experience.
The food was excellent. The staff was very nice and helpful.
We felt the service from the waiter was un-engaged... like what we might have experienced in a coffee shop. The sommelier was attentive, but we thought the wine list was very obscure and designed to direct one to expensive wines.
Innovative, delicious food combined with attentive service in a pleasant environment. Onsite valet parking.
Went on Saturday night. Seating was done well. Dishes were tasty especially pasta except for the eggplant dish which was undercooked, small portion,
