Always great food. Service excellent
Come fir wine dinners as well. Chef Eric very creative.
Terrific as usual. Eric continues to work his menu magic! Always a treat!
Difficult to rate. Food & service excellent. BUT there was a very noisy table of 6 next to the 4 of us. One man in particular was extreme loud & talked constantly. It was 91st birthday dinner for one of us. He has hearing aids but background noise made it impossible for him to converse. The rest of us had to lean over table to talk with each other. Second couple said they will never go back. We are not likely to go again. We even went early hoping it would be quieter. Too bad, what was supposed to be a special night out was a nightmare.
I think a staff member should have spoken to them.
I have been waiting to be able to dine at Brentwood which has been recommended by friends in my community. Loved enjoying my choices on the Price Fixe menu with wines.
Excellent ambience, service, and amazing food. Will definitely come again when in Town.
Phenomenal experience- superb food, great wine pairing, outstanding service from Mark and Crystal, and the music selection was amazing! The food was outstanding, but the service made our experience over the top. Highly recommend dining upstairs in their Bistro. We both had the lobster special with the addition of a filet for a nice surf n turf and had to hold ourselves back from licking the plate! Thank you Brentwood, we will be back soon!
Will and Dave were outstanding!
Great dinner. We had the Maine lobster special, incredible. Awesome lobster risotto that came with it. Great wine and service, thanks again!
Why The Brentwood Is Not To Be Missed...
+ The quality of the food is outstanding
+ The service is warm and professional (we particularly enjoyed Marc & Crystal upstairs)
+ You’re supporting a local chef and his family
+ Classic cooking techniques with a low country twist complete with high French standards
+ We appreciate the attention to detail & quality that goes into sourcing and preparing the food
+ It’s cozy, fun and one of a kind
+ There’s a great selection of wines
+ Don’t skip dessert…..for chocolate lovers you have chocolate soufflé, chocolate mousse, chocolate fondant cake or profiteroles (just like in Paris)
+ And a chance encounter with a ghost, what’s not to love!
Marc, our server was fabulous! Knowledgeable about the menu. His timing throughout the evening was on point. Drinks were never empty. A major pet peeve of my husband’s since he was in the restaurant industry for 30+ years! Found out about Brentwood looking up places to eat on open table. Had zero expectation. And was extremely satisfied! We will be back!!!
The entire experience was very nice , We will certainly be back again , Thanks
Superb food, wonderful service. Cozy and quiet - perfect for special occasions. We will return.
Our food was very good! We had good service. I prefer the small dining room rather than the larger room. We will return for another meal. It’s impressive that the chef/owner comes out to speak to the diners.
Food and service were impeccable
Another great dinner at the Brentwood. The menu has some new changes that are delicious. I tried the Lobster Beignets with scallops, very creative and good. My husband had the Bison which was the best he ever had. I tried the white truffle pappardelle and it is now a favorite. They had the chocolate souffle as a special and of course we couldn't resist. Hint: Just add it to your dessert menu, it's incredible! See you soon Brentwood!
Excellent food and service, we will most definitely be coming back often as the menu offers a good variety of dishes.
4 different entries, rack of lamb, beef bourguignon, duck confit and salmon, each was prepared perfectly and our service was outstanding. The oysters Rockefeller and escargot appetizers exceeded our expectations. Next stop here will be the wine bar for happy hour and half price appetizers!
The food was terrific the wait staff was great. I couldn’t rate it higher. Great spot
We have been to Brentwood several times, mostly with family. Love the ambience, the food, but not the service this time. Very slow, and when we asked for a dessert menu, the server brought 1, and we had to ask for 2 more! Still love the restaurant - close to our home and classy.
Had the duck it was perfectly cooked and the wine the servers suggested was perfect!!! Wait staff was pleasant, informative and attentive...highly recommend it!!!!
As usual, we were extremely pleased with the food and service. I wish we would be at this wonderful restaurant the same nights that Chef Eric and Kim were there. We seem to always miss them. Would love to say hi.
Service was very good. Kitchen was a bit slow which was surprising since it wasn’t very full. Food was good and wine selection recommended by our waiter, Jeff, was very good with good value. Since this was off season it seemed that staffing was minimal which could hav3 been the reason for wait on food and having Jeff make our cocktails.
Excellent as always, great service, wonderful appetizers and great meal selection
Went for restaurant week and they had a great selection. Can't wait to go back and try their regular menu!
Our server was excellent. Overall, the food quality wasn't that amazing. This was our second time there, and we wouldn't come back at this point. Not worth $150.00 for two meals.
Service was extremely slow. Food had been sitting for a while before being served, waitstaff was disorganized. Do not plan to return.
Service, food, ambiance, menu...everythiing was perfect! Such a fun night...I can't wait to return!!
It’s a very warm atmosphere. Service is outstanding...there was no rush between courses. The owner visited our table to make sure everything was to our liking. And did I mention the food is amazing! I highly recommend the Brentwood.
Love this restaurant! The food is delicious and Chef/Owner Eric Masson is a great host. Our waitress, Kristen was excellent!
The food, service and setting were excellent. My only complaint was the cost of the drinks. $12.00 for an Old Fashion and $9.00 for a Gin and Tonic was very very high.
Restaurant week menu was fantastic
We go to this restaurant almost every time we are in this area and have not yet been disappointed with the food. It has been always tasty and quality is very consistent. This is why we always try to dine here when ever we get a chance to.
Once again, The Brentwood was phenomenal! From service to dessert, the evening was a luxury of food and family, moderately priced and deliciously well-prepared. I will come here again with my family for another special occasion. Thank you to the entire team - this was exquisite, and very much appreciated.
A group of us went to Brentwood for restaurant week and picked Brentwood based on the variety of choices on their fixed menu. The group overall was very disappointed with the quality and the quantity of the food. Two in the group ordered tomato soup for their appetizer and the soup was luke warm and served in a huge bowl but when the spoon was stuck straight down the amount of soup only covered half of the spoon ladle. Another person got the beet and cheese salad and was at the most two bites. As for the entrees again the taste of the beef Bourgogne was good but about two bites. Others got the stuffed flounder which looked like a small white blob and was not very good. On to desserts, again a big failure on taste. Nothing would begin to count for the set $30 per person cost.
Went to try the Brentwood for the first time. It was restaurant week so we figured we could get an idea of what this place was about. We enjoyed the ambiance, a quaint house remodeled into a restaurant. We were seated next to a group of 8 that was very loud, but we did not mind. Our server was excellent. His name was Jeff and you could tell he was a very experienced server and very familiar with the Brentwood. The food was selected from the limited restaurant week menu plus wine pairing. The pear and goat cheese salad and french onion soup were both excellent. The entrees (Low Country Cassoulet and Beef Bourguignon) were both bland and nothing special. We would not order either of those entrees again. The bread pudding dessert was good and I would order it again. Overall I would probably try this restaurant again and order from the main menu.
As always, a wonderful evening!
This was the second visit to this lovely “Haunted” house. It has a really nice feel to it when you arrive. Our server, Hayley was most personable and offered some great suggestions for dinner. My wife had the escargot and I had the she crab soup. Bother were delicious. Y wife had the scallops and shrimp Chardonnay as I had the grouper special. Both were really good with nice flavor. The sauces were outstanding and most flavorful. For desert we decided to go for the soufflé since it was Saturday night date night. It was a little wait and you needed to preorder since it took some time to make. Overall the portion sizes were good and my only improvement would be that part of the grouper was not fully cooked yet there was enough that was cooked to not take away from the dining experience. It’s a place for a return visit. Oh, no ghosts joined us for dinner. Lol
Nice hidden gem in Little River. Drove by it many times and glad I stopped last week.
We knew after our first time here our friends would love the Brentwood as much as we do and we were right! They thoroughly enjoyed everything. From the moment we walked up the front steps and through the front door they were enchanted. Our server Jeff is knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We know we'll be back soon.
A special visit with a good friend ... perfect evening ... great dining (not just "eating.")
