Excellent food from main dish to sides to desert. Great wine selection, great service, good ambience. I would hope that restaurants find better A/C solutions to avoid the cold drought to bother the guests.

Lovely!! Only downside was LARGE chunks of sea salt all over the cooked oysters which made them almost impossible to eat! We should have complained but we were having such a nice time otherwise we just let it go.

One of my favorite places to get a good steak. Not sure what happened. We order the duck and it was burnt where it was difficult to bite into. So my daughter didn't even eat. Waiter didn't offer anything else. My bone in steak was so greasy my knife would not cut it. It would just smash. (fed it to my dog). FYI, people should not be seated by the kitchen. Felt like the corner mexican restaurant. Someone needs to check into this. I always bragged about this restaurant to friends. WHAT HAPPENED!

We waited for about 15 minutes after being seated before the waiter came and acknowledged us. Also, we sat in a hidden corner upstairs where the room temperature felt like -20degF. The food was top notch and so was one of the waiters who wasn’t our original waiter to begin with by the name of Max who made our visit to Brenner’s better.

I have been a long time patron of Brenner‘s on the bayou, formerly rainbow Lodge. I booked a reservation for a special guest in town. We were going to the blue bar early for drinks and then walk inside for dinner. The restaurant does not let you know if the blue bar is reserved or not so we show up and cannot get drinks at the blue bar because it was rented out. It was suggested we wait for our table (for over an hour) at the small bar upstairs which had a couch that looked like it was from curbside pick up. The restaurant was very loud, the food was mediocre and service was just OK. Looks like Brenner’s is catering to banquet type events and ignoring the loyal customers. I’m sorry Tillman, but for the money I’ve spent there I expect more. We won’t be back.

Although everyone else was very helpful it took our server at least 10 minutes to acknowledge us. He could have at least said I’ll be right with you. Also he wasn’t that friendly at first until I showed my Landry’s club card then he stepped it up a notch. I love coming to this place and the experience has always been great but this time not so. Our graduation party did decrease from 8 to 3 however we explained that people in our party hadn’t made it in town yet from the graduation, they were still on the road as we were coming from Tyler, Texas. That is still no excuse for not receiving the great service I’ve always received. Hopefully the next time we choose Brenner’s on the Bayou for any celebration it will be better. Thanks.

I had not been to this place in about a year. Previous experiences were very good, but tonight I walked out of there disappointed. Service was not close to what you would expect from a restaurant like this. Waiter was nowhere to be found when you needed him. It took him ages to show up between his rounds. Maybe they were understaffed, maybe the wedding next room...whatever the reason, my friends and I had to put up with low quality service at a place that otherwise I would highly recommend.

Ambiance was not what it was on past experiences but that was because a wedding was going on and we had to be seated toward front of restaurant and could not see and enjoy the pretty view.

Ordered and ate inside. Then wanted to move outside for the band and our waiter confirmed we could order Beignets on the patio. But once on the patio the server there insisted they could not be ordered outside. .

Our waiter (Max or Matt I can’t remember exactly) was so kind and good at multi tasking. He gave informed descriptions on the food. I also loved the ambiance and scenery. The food was so good, I never thought I would enjoy bacon wrapped quail but it was delicious. The people who fill up water were super quick and it was so convenient to always have a full glass of water. The place was very clean and all the staff were very kind.

Once we were seated, everything was wonderful. Food and service was excellent and the ambiance outstanding. Unfortunately, Blue Bar was closed for private event and there were issues with getting seated at the time of our reservation. Took a little of the shine off of what was a wonderful evening.

First time to this Brenners location. Reservations for 4:15...4:55 still no table. Spoke to Manager...was given a table right away and offered a free appetizer. Service was outstanding yet steaks came out medium well...maybe well done... we ordered medium rare. The one person not eating steak basically got to eat alone while we waited on steaks. Second round came out rare...no complaint but odd a steakhouse can't get steaks right. The manager was more than apologetic and made everything right. We'll give it another shot...I'm sure this is a one off... Brenners on I-10 has always been amazing...I can't imagine this being different.

It was my first time at this restaurant and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was nice and the landscaping was amazing. Our waiter did an excellent job. He made sure we were having a nice time and that the food tasted good. One thing I would suggest is that they have a bit more organization when it comes to reservations and seating people in a timely matter.

It is ridiculous that they take my reservation and maked me wait until past half a hour to be seated after we complained and let them know we would be seated already in another restaurant and then when we were finally at our table we waited about 15 minutes without being waited so we just got up and left... We were absolutely treated like royalty in our second place of choice...

So disappointing! We had 12:30 reservations and were not seated till 1:15. That would have been ok since it was Easter Sunday but the food took even longer to be served and it was pretty bland. Our server was energetic but we were there for 3 hours. Probably will not go back for awhile.

The most dismal dining experience at a restaurant of this supposed caliber we've experienced. Arrived at 12:15 for a 12:30 reservation; seated at 1:15. Menu was not what was posted on-line; took almost 1.5 HOURS to get our meal, two orders of which were wrong. Finally left at 3:15. Management came by the table ONCE to apologize for the delay, with no offers of compensation or explanation for the delays. Although it was Easter Sunday, this is no excuse for such poor service. And this is not our first time with experiencing such sub-par service, but it will definitely be our last.

Easter Sunday. 11:45 res. For 4. Sat down at 11:30.
Literally took 1.5 hours for entrees to be served after appetizers. We left restaurant at 2:pm.

Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve had in my life.
Shocking to wait that long.
Been coming here about 42 years. Will not be back.
Embarrassing as I have three guests with me.

Manager had the nerve to say that the kitchen was doing all it could. Pathetic excuse. Truth was they added tables outside and kept accepting walk ins on patio. They overbooked simply to drive revenues.
In addition, seemed like there is no dress code here anymore either. It’s too bad as this used to be a great place.
Seems to be an effort to have a bar scene outside now with that crowd, combined with restaurant inside.

Talked with two other tables at valet. Both were also angry about similar situations.

Lunch was of course comped however Easter Brunch experience poor. We were not hungry after that long of an epic wait for food...1.5 hours. Extremely disappointing.

Waited over an hour for our food on patio today, decided to cancel it and leave, was still charged our app and wine (no problem) but was over charged on wine (2 glasses when only had 1) but didn’t want to deal with it and wait any longer.
