Everything about this restaurant was absolutely amazing. Our waiter, Enrique, was so awesome and very attentive. The food is pricey but worth every penny, I will definitely be going back.
We love Brenners. The service is great & the food is amazing. If you can get seated near the windows the ambiance is great.
We are always pleased and enjoy our dinner at Brenners. Food is outstanding, and they have great service. Love the history of the restaurant, and menu selections....
Food was great, a quiet atmosphere that loved. Nice spot !!
Best steak we've had in a long time. We live Brenner's!
We were put in a makeshift location next to a kitchen door. I asked it it was going to be opened and was told no. Someone kept trying open the door and all we heard was pots and pans clashing. We had to get moved.
The porkchops were phenomenal! The cocktail drinks were ehhhh . But the food definitely made up for it . Want more right now lol a spot I’ll for sure come back to .
wonderful dinner. beautiful place and top 10 food. the crabcakes are to die for.
Brenner's is always a pleasure! Ask about their history, is a neat story.
Great food and great service! We've never had a bad or disappointing meal here. They go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your meal.
Good cocktails, great appetizers (we had the scallops, which were fantastic), and a really neat design. They told us Brenner’s is the oldest steakhouse in Houston. The design is unique, with a large outdoors area that was impressive. My steak was pretty good, but my wife’s sea bass stole the show. FANTASTIC bread pudding. Nice spot for a date night.
We really wanted to love this place. We hoped it would become our “go to” for family celebrations but the food and service were just “ok”. Things quickly went from decent to mediocre. Our server seemed to become annoyed because I said I did not enjoy a certain ingredient. He did offer to bring me a sample which was nice, but he seemed to do it to try to force it on me, not really accepting I just don’t like something. I did try the sample and I liked it, but his demeanor left an an odd impression. I thought maybe it was a fluke but he did something similar when I changed my order from beef to chicken, while he was still standing at our table. He repeated what I said to him, loudly and abruptly. Of course I felt horrible, but truthfully, I’ve had stomach issues recently and I felt like beef would be overboard for me. I didn’t expect him to have a reaction, (it’s not like he put an order in) but again, he appeared annoyed. He also cut us off at least 2 separate times - I’m talking mid sentence. He had 2 tables, so it wasnt due to his being busy.
Apple strudel was nearly boiling - it was impossible to taste the flavor at that temperature. Chicken had no flavor. My companion enjoyed his steak.
We are glad we tried it, but won’t be returning anytime soon.
It was a beautiful little restaurant and my husband and I will definitely be back!!
Amazing steak and perhaps the best crabcake ever! I will make an effort to eat here in the future.
