   Had great conversation with people around us. Food was good. Happy hour is great for the place on the beach with a view. A lot of old memories at that place!

   Poor service the 2 times we have been there. Very Slow, unhappy wait staff. Obviously don’t want to be there. Saw people after waiting 1/2 hr with water only walk out. No one took their order!

    We had a great time. We have been coming to Kauai for over 30 years and always have at least one dinner at Brennecke’s! We had our daughter, son in law, and two grandkids. Ages 3and 1! Anthony handled every challenge that came up. And there were plenty! His service was awesome! See you next year!! Gerrie and Paul Gilroy

    Great spectacular service. The waiting staff took very good care of us better than most places. Mai tais definitely recommended! Ahi taco appy was the best followed by a great Caesar salad. The wasabi tuna was superb just melting in your mouth. Steak (surf and turf) was good even though it was cooked a littl more than I usually like with a bit too much salt but still good. The fresh veggies where perfect. No room for dessert! The across the street view was lovely as restaurant on the 2nd floor. We loved it and would absolutely come back next time we are on the island. !

    They didn't have a table ready for the time slot. Staff are very nice, the bugs are not, dead bugs covered our table by the end of the meal

    We liked this place, but the steak my wife got was fairly salty and the value for what you got was a little weak. We had the salad for two, and it was good. The scallops were not as good as I’ve had elsewhere. The setting was nice…right across from the Poipu Beach.

    Awesome location on vacation with my lovely lady in Poipu beach ! Host was great ! Had an open air window seat looking out to Poipu beach and the ocean that was Spectacular! Food was good 8.5 out of 10. A bit pricey, but You are in a paradise at Poipu in Kauai ! Decided on getting a bottle of wine Hess Cab rather a few glasses $55 we both enjoyed although prob not the best pairing. We shared seared ahi $26 for an appetizer which was tasty. We both had seafood risotto that we both enjoyed. We shared a generous slice of Coffee ice cream cake with fudge drizzle and hard brownie crust that was a delightful end to ur dinner. With tip $210.     Love Brenneckes! Casual, fun atmosphere with nice views of the beach. It is open air so we had a few flies but not bad. Food was good, lots of options. The drinks are outstanding! Attentive and helpful service as well. See you next year! Mahalo!

    One of our guest ordered soup and it did not arrive. When the fish and chips came out it was Luke warm. The seared wasabi ahi was very good and the spicy togarashi seared ahi was excellent. The catch of the day was very good. We would go again but hope our server is more attentive

    The only thing I noticed that was off was the bill prices were $2 higher for entree and cocktails than menu stated. No complaints though. Very nice, relaxed, casual place. Service was great.

    OK I don't write too many bad reviews, but this one I HAD to write! Our experience could not have been worse. Let's just say they moved our table twice b/c bugs from the fan above my head kept falling on me and into my food! Enough said - do not go at night if seated under a ceiling fan. Sorry!
