Wow we love this restaurant. Third time at Brendon’s and it keeps getting better. We had Megan for our waitress and she is soooooo fun. Dinner here is an experience to be savored and enjoyed. Table side smoked old fashioned is a must.

The service was great! This was our 4th visit. I love having the cornbread for a nice $4 appetizer! The crab cakes, crusted chicken, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and green beans were all fabulous! We really enjoy them all!

From the appetizers to dessert, everything was phenomenal! Jamie our server was polite, attentive and just all around excellent. The warm jar of king crab and butter is simple and delicious, the sea bass arancini is outstanding. Crab cakes with spicy remoulade are fresh and the coconut cream pie is to die for. Multiple thumbs up.!

First time visiting Brendon’s Catch 23. Went for my wife’s birthday and it was outstanding. Started with oysters and they were a good size. Wife had the Halibut and I had the Seabass. I do not eat fish but thought I would try it and it was delicious. Wife also loved her halibut. Finished with beignets and they were fantastic. Good selection of bourbons and wine. Service was outstanding. Would definitely go back.

Music great but a little loud, could barely hear the soft spoken waitress. A group of guys were getting crazy like they were at their local bar watching a game. Food was amazing except the dessert. Coconut flavored Cool Whip cream with lime zest that did not go with the flavor profile of a coconut cream pie.

For sure some of the best seafood in Louisville and in my opinion the tri state area. The scallops were perfect in texture, the crab cakes were delightful and the risotto was amazing. 10 out of 10 would recommend even though it is not for the budget conscious.

Brendon’s 23 is a bit pricey but the food is very good, the service is fine, and drinks are good. We had steak, shrimp and grits, Mac n cheese, tiger prawn, bruschetta and fries. Servings are plentiful and everything was really good. I wanted to try the warm crab appetizer but at over $40 (an appetizer) I needed to pass that up.

Everyone in our party of seven commented their dinner was executed perfectly. Good portion sizes, delicious and amazing staff. We couldn’t get a large table but they sat us at two four tops next to one another with worked just fine for our group. Highly recommend any seafood dish here.

Consistently phenomenal. Every dish I’ve ever eaten has been delicious but my favorite has the be the seared yellowfin tuna. It is always prepared perfectly and melts in your mouth. My husband loves the Chilean sea bass special and it is generally his go-to. We tried the salmon spread for the first time last night and it was also fantastic. Brendon’s is one of our favorite special occasion restaurants.

Excellent meal in an excellent atmosphere. One of the very best tables (Among the top 5 tables) in Louisville. My only concern is that something needs to be worked out on parking. $25 for valet parking is very high.

We went there for a Birthday dinner. Amazing food and service. Tomahawk was perfect and couldn’t have asked for anything better. Must get the jar of king crab! It was amazing. Service was great and he explained where the get their food and the history of the restaurant. Definitely worth going again. Parking was the only “issue” since it is downtown. We were able to find a paid parking lot a short walking distance down the road. If it was busy it would be difficult but we got lucky.

The warm crab in a jar was so worth it. The star of the show. Mashed potatoes were so creamy. Wedge salad rocked. Our steaks were just ok. Chocolate cake was delicious also. Will return.

I couldn’t leave much of a review. We had a reservation and 45 minutes later were seated which I understand on a busy Saturday. However we sat at the table over 30 minutes with no acknowledgment or water or anything. We were starving so we ended up with pizza. 😂. I’ve been here and the food is amazing it was just a disappointing evening.

My wife and I go to Brendens several times a year. From the moment you arrive your greeted and then taken to your dining table. The server Jaime is a five star professional. All areas of the menu are great, however the filet was perfect. Cocktails are fantastic. You won’t go wrong here if your looking for a great night out.

On our first time visiting Louisville we were so happy with our decision to dine Saturday night at Brendon’s Catch 23! Our visit was perfect from start to finish especially because of the attention given to our experience by our server Lane. We were treated like the most important guests in the restaurant, told to relax and take our time deciding on cocktails and every course of the meal. We had two perfect Bourbon cocktails, the 1081 Old Fashioned and the Signature Manhattan. We chose the crab and corn chowder for appetizer and the cornbread crusted Salmon and Filet with Blue Cheese crust enhancement for our entrees and included cornbread and asparagus for our sides. Everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Lane made sure we were happy during every course and that we had the best time. The food is fabulous and Restaurant is beautiful inside. It’s a must experience for anyone looking for a delicious, unique dining experience in Louisville! 🥃💕😋

Jamie was absolutely awesome.....kind, knowledgeable, upbeat, timely....maybe the best waiter we've ever had. Really great gentleman. Wine was slightly overpriced, but expected. Food was great, only complaint would be 25 bucks, 30 bucks with tip to valet my car is a bit ridiculous. We'll be back for dinner but we'll park elsewhere. Again, ask for Jamie's section, a true joy!!
