First, the restaurant said they didn't have the reservation and since they were almost empty, we were seated. I did show them met open table confirmation but they couldn't seem to find it. Service and food were just okay. Then I got an email from open table saying the restaurant said I didn't honor my reservation. Not a great experience. I know they're closing soon for renovations, however, while they are still open, they should get their act together.

Read my earlier reviews and you will see I eat there regularly and like the food and particularly the quiet and ability to have a relatively private meeting there, where others can't overhear everything you say. One of the few places that the tables are spaced far enough apart that you don't hear every word your neighboring table says.

that said, its closing for two years while they redo the hotel and it will end up being a very different restaurant, if for no other reason than that the staff will change completely. they can't expect staff to put their working lives on hold for two years, so some of the people are going to retire, some will get other jobs, and few if any will be there when the hotel reopens. My guess if the room will be totally different, as will the menu, and it will become one of those things I really hate: a hotel restaurant catering to out of town visitors eating there once or a very high priced restaurant catering to the condo residents, like Hinoki and the Bird, which is too far out of line to eat at regularly for business lunches. too bad.

I put a$10 tip on the $53.41 bill. The waiter or someone added an extra $3.00. Not good.

This is my go to place for business lunches when I need quiet and a table where I'm not going to be overheard and can conduct a quiet private conversation. Food is good, not great, not bad, but consistent, service is excellent and attentive and always a good place. I just heard they are closing in connection with a remodel of the hotel and will be closed 2/28/16 for about two years, so I'm not happy. They have great employees, many of whom have been there for many years, and now all of them have to find new jobs and may not come back at the end of the construction, which is a real loss for the hotel and restaurant. Progress I guess, but they just did a minor remodel of the restaurant in the last 12 months, which is now wasted. I will miss many of the employees who are always welcoming, and hope but don't realistically expect to see them back when the restaurant reopens. My guess is that the menu and ambiance will change, which will make this just another not so good hotel restaurant, which I normally avoid as underqualify and overpriced.

I waited 1 1/2 hours for 3 medium steaks and a bowl of pasta. Unacceptable.

It was after the Rose Bowl but that should not have been a surprise. If you can't handle it, close a section of the restaurant and don't seat people.

They ran out of glasses. I had to go to the bar to get my spouse a second drink as the waiter completely ignored us for over an hour.

It was a great disappointment and I would never go back.

Since Rivera closed it doors in downtown LA, we were keen to try this spot to celebrate a birthday. Breeze at the Century City Plaza Hotel delivered a pair of fabulous pan Latin entrées; Asada was prime and tender; Chile Relleno was complex, deeply flavorful and the best we've experienced so far. The Cactus Salad had an unusual textural dressing. This spot merits high marks for its artful tasty food presentation and friendly waiters. We want to go back to try other things...only three months to go before this restaurant concept closes. After that, the menu will change perhaps to Chinese or Indian? We liked the garden view, the creative desserts, and the generous chocolate ganache birthday surprise!

Was looking for a business lunch option in Century City. Overall it was fine. Good was tasty but although service staff were friendly, it felt a bit unprofessional and like a hotel restaurant . I probably wouldn't go back.

We had my father's 80th birthday here last night. Great food and service was spectacular. However, we were not advised that our credit card would be charged 25% higher than the signed hard copy receipt. In our case, an extra $144 beyond the tax, tip and total amount. Breeze Restaurant is part of the Hyatt Hotels I was informed today after the event that this is Hyatt's policy for all charges; to authorize 20-30% higher for all charges and then wait 2-3 days for the final amount to reflect the accurate charge.
Part 2: Two parking valet attendants were rude, disrespectful and offensive to several family members as they tried to retrieve their cars outside. Harassed my own mother who is elderly and walks with a cane to 'hurry up faster' to get the car moved. Threw car keys at another family member. Ignored other elderly family members who asked for the keys to their car. Do not park here.
The Hotel Manager did call me today to apologize for our experience last night. We appreciated his call.

Arturo is a terrific host, and the Breeze is easy access for me to meet with clients.
Freddy was our server, and quite frankly, all the servers that I have met over the years have
been wonderful.

The buffet had some great options, but make sure you get there with enough time to enjoy them. They were closing shortly after I made my first pass, and I don't feel like I got my $32 worth.

Do not go to this restaurant if you would like to leave within a few hours. We decided to eat here after a long flight, we were starving and just wanted a nice meal. After waiting twenty minutes for water in an empty restaurant, we just decided to serve ourselves the buffet. Thank goodness there was a buffet, other wise, we would have left and gone somewhere else. Given that the Century City Mall is only a few steps away, save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

Came here for a quiet business breakfast and it deliverred on that. Food was good and the service was quick and non obtrusive.

My only negative was the parking cost of $6 after validation. I know this isn't much but it's a bit of a deterrent when there are so many good breakfast places in the area...Just saying!

I went to Breeze on Christmas Eve. The first problem occured at check in. Though I asked if the rest of my party had arrived, the woman said I was the first. She spent about five minutes playing around with her computerized seating chart keeping me and everyone else trying to check in waiting. Then it turned out she had seated the rest of my party at another table, causing me to have to wait five minutes at the wrong table and then move. The next problem was the bread. My ex-husband used to say you could always tell the quality of the food at a restaurant by the bread. In this case, the dinner rolls were awful. With all the specialty bakeries in LA, a hotel of this class could certainly do better. However, the rest of the meal turned out a little better. The butternut squash bisque was excellent, probably the best I've ever had. The salmon was OK. It was slightly overcooked and thus a little dry. The riced cauliflower it was sitting on was overcooked and thus mushy and flavorless. We did not order dessert.

I know people who eat at this restaurant for business meetings during the week and really this place...but Christmas dinner was the worst! My salad was pathetic; our friend had to send their meal back to be re-done and after 20 minutes waiting for dessert, (and asking for it three times), it only arrived when it looked like we were going to leave. A complete disappointment. I'm sure the restaurant would claim they were overbooked or understaffed or something, but that doesn't explain the poor food quality or how that can happen on a Holiday when they should be prepared for a full restaurant.

This place is a very quite place. customer service is awesome, but it is super quite and there is no music vibes, just a quite place. I recommend it for meetings. Not a good idea for a date

$6.00 valet parking is that smart or what? I was very concerned about the price for parking, from where only got better, escored into Breeze, service was soft, lovely and professional. Foods especially the prime rib fabulous! Smoked Salmon !!!!! and so forth, great people watching, nice range of guests and age and fashion. great lobby. How terrific!

This is a great place for a client lunch. too expensive for normal lunch spot, but justified if with a client. You can quietly talk, with some element of privacy, service is good and attentive, and food is consistently good. I normally hate hotel restaurants, but this is one of my only exceptions, based on it being a good place to go with clients or referral sources.

Who knew that inside this massive hotel was a restsurant with such great food!?
Service was good. Drinks we're really good & the food was great!
Hotel restaurant seemed a bit dated & the carpets & fabric seating were stained in places but given the quality of the food it was easy to overlook.
Guests in the hotel should definitely dine there & it was worth the cab ride for us from la cienega & Beverley blvd.

We stayed at the Hyatt with our dog, so the outdoor patio was perfect for dinner. Had a seafood corn chowder which was amazing!
Excellent food, great service. Highly recommend.

The menu at this restaurant is a dream for many people who have food sensitivities, allergies and dietary restrictions. There are so many dishes that cater to special dietary needs, and they are beautifully prepare and executed. I always enjoy the seafood salad, a classic at this restaurant. There are several vegan dishes I will be trying next time. The other notable cuisine it offers is Japanese sushi and sashimi. There is a top notch sushi chef. I appreciate that the restaurant, when full, is not incredibly noisy.
