About
The staff was really nice, had a nice chat with them and they knew the menu very well. We had the chicken tacos and lamb tacos and both with very good. Had a good time in this restaurant.
Unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. Incorrect orders coming to the table, uncomfortable seating and overall bad vibe
I was unfortunately quite disappointed - the tacos aren't bad, but they are not great, and they are so overpriced for what they are. We went in for a light lunch and paid 50 pounds without drinks and left hungry. There are so many much better places - DF/Mexico, Mestizo... I won't go again.
Table was only for 1.5 hours and this wasn’t clear when booking. A rushed leaving dinner for friends
Consistently great food and atmosphere - such a brilliant place and the service is always fantastic too. Love it.
Banging Mexican food business. The chicken and lamb tacos are a dream, as is the corn.
Food and drinks were great!
I had been to the Breddos in Kingly Court, but it was my first time at the Clerkenwell venue. Really good food and lovely service.
I thought that the exacution was good
The crab & bone marrow was decent- could have used some salsa verde and Avocado mousse.
I do enjoy a fresh Masa.....
This would have made the tacos stand out a bit ...
Lot of Labor
That went into the prep, place and cooking would have shined a bit more....

Delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. I’ll be back
I live down the street and frequent Breddos often, I love that they started Sunday Brunch! Always a good meal here!
Second visit, excellent food, excellent taste.
Food was below average.
Taste was bad on the beef. Literally nothing special on all other options with the exception of the tuna. Wacamole was basically mashed avocado (no salt or lime). Almost everything was served cold (which is unacceptable given that we were seated at the bar, I.e. three steps away from the kitchen)
Great music and vibe, but what’s the point if the food is bad?
Price would have been ok if the food was good. I won’t suggest that it is overpriced (although we regretted the obey spent there) just because I wouldn’t eat it again even if it was offered half price.
Good food, but they couldn't offer me a decent table (for 2) even though I had booked, and the restaurant was empty, and it was 6.30 on a weekday evening.
Breddos never lets me down! Delicious food and best frozen margaritas in the city!
One of the only great places for tacos in London! Definitely go for the chicken tacos or the baja fish ones!
Value for Money
Margaritas were great, tacos had a lot of water from the salad and so were very runny, but they were tasty
Catered for a special occasion without asking for it!
Amazing as expected!
We always enjoy this place. Food is served fast and very tasty, staff are really friendly. Thoroughly recommend to anyone.
Food was nice and the menu had a lot of interesting variation on it. I just wasn't particularly 'wowed'. Everything was tasty though. Service and staff was really good. Décor & atmosphere was relaxed and cool.
The food and wine is really pricey for what you get. Won't be back.
A regrettable negative review given previous positive experiences but the tacos were completely stale and the host sat someone else at our table, denying existence of our booking.
The portion sizes have decreased over the last 6months from 3 tacos to 2 tacos per order and the prices are the same.
Always judge a restaurant by (a) how many locals are there and (b) whether you would go back. Breddos wins on both counts - v cool, v busy, fab food, great tastes, lovely atmosphere, great service too. Will be back whenever in the area
Although the flavours of the taco fillings were good, the tortillas were rubbery and crumbly, almost tough. The food is also quite overpriced, we paid £21 for a small steak and 4 tortillas! Salsas are £1.50 for a thimble sized portion. I would not recommend.
It was nice.. good atmosphere. Margaritas were OK. Food was generally good... fish tacos and the pork are lit!
New menu. Fish taco now available for one so no need to share 😊
Great little restaurant with good quality food, good cocktails and good service. The menu itself has a modern and international twist on tacos. I did miss some of the more traditional tacos on the menu. The winners of the evening for me: the Fried Fish taco and the frozen margarita!
Thanks for the nice dinner!
I've already recommended Breddos to friends since going. The lamb tacos were amazing and the service & atmosphere is great too.
Great cocktails and delicious food.
Went for a friends birthday and the whole experience was amazing !!
The tacos here have great flavour, but are were very difficult to eat as tacos (vs with knife and fork) as they were difficult to fold and their sauces had a lot of liquid in them which would drip all over the plate when you picked up the taco. The prices of individual dishes seem reasonable enough, but the bill adds up very quickly as you make a meal out of smaller dishes (5 small plates plus an order of chips & salsa between 2 of us). I love this style of food, but would only visit regularly if it was easier to leave full for 1/2-2/3 the sum we spent.
I came here as Breddos we’re taking part in the Refugee Food Festival which is a lovely initiative. The food was delicious, good value, and the setting was cool. I’ll definitely come again.
Fantastic, scrumptious food and amazing service. The atmosphere is cosy and the tacos and everything is delicious. The waitress that we had was so nice! I would highly recommend this place for a cosy dinner.
Great food, great service, reasonably priced. Sweet potato and mole was very disappointing though, skip that.
Great food, loved the tuna tostada! Service was a bit slow but friendly. Taco portions are quite big so it's not bad for value. Would recommend!
Incredible food and service was initially great until we were asked to leave to make way for the next table. This was an hour ten into our 1.5 hour booking - disappointing after spending close to £200.
Amazing tacos, great speedy service. Interesting cocktails & good mezcals. Good options for meat / fish / veggie.
