Food was excellent as always. Only negative was our server removed plates and utensils before we were finished with them and without checking to be sure she could do so.

Some food items were delish while others were a miss... lighting in back room made it hard to see. Great service and nice menu

My friend and I had a very good dining experience at Breakneck Tavern. The waitress was friendly and gave us good service. My only suggestion was that we both ordered a bowl of soup and salad, but bread was never brought until I asked.

Good place. Nice selection of food, and it’s varied, some interesting items to choose from. Prices are fair, not cheap, but fair for the quality of the food. Service was fast and polite. I’ll be going back.

Food is outstanding! Service at dinner is very good. Service at the bar is horrendous!!!! So go for dinner, and skip the bar area.

We visited the Breakneck Tavern with a few friends after a soccer tournament. All of us absolutely loved it! The food was decadent, service outstanding, and ambiance was lovely! Will definitely visit again!

I had ordered the Portobela & Vegetable Linguini in the past and really enjoyed it. I ordered the same dish the last time we were in and was disappointed. Something was lacking. I looked on the menu online and realized it lacked the smoked corn and whipped goat cheese. This was the first time we had this kind of experience and I realize that an off night can happen.

My husband and I came on a Saturday night for a date night. We were very glad we made a reservation because they were bumping. They kept to our reservation time which was great. The atmosphere was warm, a bit industrial and a little funky. The menu was super unique. We tried the crab dip (best I've ever had), the smoked corn and bacon risotto (wonderfully rich and creamy), and the Creole Pot Pie (very flavorful). Everything was delicious. The drink menu and whiskey selection were awesome. We loved this date night spot! The entree list was a bit pricey, but everything we had was amazing.

We dined at Breakneck Tavern with friends on a Saturday. We had a reservation but arrived early and were seated. The placed was packed. The menu was varied and interesting. We had appetizers of hummus and crab dip and both were delicious. Our entrees met all of our expectations. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. We have been to Breakneck Tavern before and will return.

We had a very nice experience. Good service, great food, not busy on a Tuesday night, easy to have a conversation. Enjoyed the crab cake sandwich with fried green tomato. Others had a burger, Mac and cheese, veggie wrap and all were good. Definitely give this place a try.

Very noisy. Had a reservation- we were not allowed to be seated despite elderly age and walker. No other seat to take nearby even though our booth sat empty and our other 2 handicapped friends arrived within 5 minutes which we explained.
Mahi looked like a tilapia filet thin crusted and dried out piece of fish.
Eichners chicken skin and spinach topping leaf was so salty could not ingest. Interior meat was tasty.

The menu was extensive - from basic items to more upscale items. The basic items (sandwiches & burgers) looked very good . The upscale items (such as lamb chops) were good, but just not what they should be. We enjoyed the meal, but would stick to appetizers and burgers / sandwiches.

The drinks were excellent.

Fun night out with friends. Our waitress was great and flexible with our ordering. The bar needs more help when people are waiting for seats. It took about 10 minutes to get a drink.

The greeting staff were kind and attentive. The bar was busy but was able to provide us drinks while we were waiting. The service was attentive to our needs, very polite, it was very welcoming. The food was delicious and different. It may be around and noisy but it was the weekend however that’s expected for this type of restaurant. We had a great time celebrating our anniversary.

The food is very good. They have a nice beer list if you are into the craft types. Could use a few more pilsners or lagers. It was Friday night and crowded but they seem to employ enough staff to handle it.

The service and food were top notch and worth the visit and I definitely recommend Breakneck Tavern.
We sat on the patio on a beautiful evening and the only down side was the excessive noise from Rte. 228 which is adjacent to the restaurant.

My husband and I selected Breakneck Tavern to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious! We were seated in a room with 2 tables that were set for large parties. Before our meal arrived the 1st party of about 10-12 adults were seated. They were insanely loud and boisterous and spoiled the ambiance for us. We couldn’t hear each other speak. I had made our reservation 5 days in advance and feel that we could have been seated elsewhere where the atmosphere was a little more conducive to a smaller party. Yes! We will come back. We really do like the restaurant. Maybe customer seating should be evacuated in the future. I don’t feel that parties of 2 should be seated with mega groups of people, especially when advance reservations are made.

We had an excellent lunch and drinks on the patio. Our server was very kind and helpful, we
really liked her. The Manager came to our table and ask if everything was okay, which was also very nice.

Thank you to our server and Breakneck.

It was Labor Day and difficult to find a place open for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Breakneck Tavern was open! We enjoyed a great dinner. In fact, my salad was so good that I got a second one to go for lunch the next day.

We had the brisket tacos as a appetizer and they were delicious. Seriously good. My husband had the shrimp and grits and I swear he licked the bowl. I had the Cajun blue crab pasta and there was so much crab meat in it that I couldn't eat it all. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be going back.

Good place for dinner or a party (nice back room) or to meet friends (yuppie bar). Good food selection, good draft beer selection, California decor. You'd never know you were in Mars.
