Our food was very good. Both our servers Chris and Maya were very nice and attentive. The only snafu was that our apps came out after our meal was served. It was all good though. Our servers were very apologetic.
Just dinner with our son. Celebrating his bee career.
Great service, great food, and the restaurant was clean and ran very well
Great food, great service and we loved the outdoor patio. Highly recommend
Always good! Great service too. I also enjoy seeing that the same people have been working there for years. The owners must value their employees, and that makes me happy.
We went for our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing and the kids especially loved the dessert.
Went for Sunday brunch.
Really enjoyed the Mexican coffee and Old Fashioned coffee drink offerings.
Food was spot on as always. Kids had the crab cakes with eggs Benedict and ham.
French toast was a little bland tasting, but was prepared perfectly with just the right texture….not soggy or hard.
Sat outdoors with our puppy. Very pleasant Sunday afternoon.
Denise, our server, was attentive and timely with everything.
Excellent seafood selections. The sides are as good as the main dish.
Everything was great. Food and service
The food was AMAZING but you don’t get a lot for the price.
This was the first time we went here. Friends have told me it was good for a while. We had a 12:45 reservation and that seemed to cause confusion because they have a brunch until 1:00PM. We didn’t care whether we had brunch or lunch. Once we were seated, our server didn’t come to the table for 15 minutes. We ordered drinks and lunch. The burgers didn’t come for an hour. We weren’t really in a hurry but this seemed pretty slow. Maybe that is the norm but it seemed pretty slow to me. The food was good once it arrived.
On a side note, They sat us in the side room next to a big group with several babies. The babies cried/yelled for 25 minutes and the parents never thought to remove them. I know that is not the Breakneck’s fault but I would recommend sitting at the bar to avoid these types of situations.
Service was very accommodating but very slow. Slow to greet us, 15 minutes or so, slow all around.
Surprisingly the apps and entrees were just ok. All was good. But for the money good isn’t so good. Probably won’t be back for a while.
Outstanding on all levels. Food and service were beyond expectations.
My friend and I had the fried chicken sandwich, which was delicious, but huge! If we order that again, we will split one instead of ordering two. Fortunately we had a side salad instead of fries, that would have been way too much food! But overall, great food, nice atmosphere and excellent service.
Awesome. Great service and great food!
Our go to restaurant. They have a very broad chefy menu and great beer/spirit selection.
Calamari was very good. Salads were very good. Crab pasta was ok. Corn and celery didn’t taste well together in the pasta.
Excellent food and service, as always
The food was excellent the wait staff was attentive and the atmosphere was wonderful music playing but we could still talk without yelling. Definitely make this place a regular.
a local co to! always fun, great beer selections!
Please bring back Ribs to menu
The food was outstanding, and the service was good—attentive, but not overbearing. The beet salads with goat cheese, radishes, and pistachios were delicious. The Skuna Bay salmon entree and the blue crab pasta with Cajun cream entree were also well presented and well-prepared. The wine selections are somewhat limited but span value-oriented ($30-45) to indulgent ($80+). This restaurant, and its sister establishment in Zelienople, has become a favorite. Breakneck Tavern will not disappoint.
Celebrating a 77 year old birthday. Our waitress was Kenley and she was amazing. The food was amazing. This was our 1st time and won't be our last.
Wonderful! Great food.
Great atmosphere. And great service! Brunch is below average. Limited choices. And the Bloody Mary was less than impressive.
Anniversary dinner. First time out with kids since Covid
Great food and really good service. We took our 3 kids and on our way home they asked if we could go back the next day. I really like that they have salmon and steak on the kids menu.
Loved the happy hour. Our server was great and the food was very tasty. The only problem was too many employees were not wearing mask and this was before the CDC announcement. I feel you should have them still wear them until you ask the customer how they feel.
Food was very disappointing. The risottos were nothing more than under cooked rice. We usually love their food but tonight was not up to standards. Even the Kale and quinoa salad had only two tablespoons of quinoa. We have had all of these dishes before and they were great but sadly not tonight. Service was good
Took over an hour for our food to arrive and wasn’t how it was described on the menu. No apology. Waitress didn’t come back to our table after she took our order until we received the check.
We have been here many times. Our server seemed a bit off but he may have had too many tables at the same time. Our food was very good but then later at night it bothered both my father and I. We did not have the same food or drink as one another.
Everything was excellent: atmosphere, drinks, food and service. It was a nice evening. Thank you.
Breakneck Tavern never disappoints me! I had the scallops and a Caesar salad. Both were amazing. Service was very good. I’ve never had a bad experience here.
A go to Staple. Very good food and Beer selection.
As PA relaxes COVID restrictions, we returned to Breakneck Tavern for lunch and had another very good meal. My wife tried the salmon with jambalaya risotto and I had the scallops. The risotto is very spicy, so we traded. I though the salmon was overcooked. She tried the beat salad and said it was good. I had the potato and sausage soup which is spicy but very good. I like spicy foods. Overall a nice afternoon out. We will return.
Our waiter wore a mask but there were other staff that were openly not wearing masks. Disappointed as I like this place but will hesitate to go back.
Excellent food. The lack of masks that the wait staff had on was concerning, but we just won’t go again until the mask order is lifted.
We were excited to try Breakneck tavern. The draft beer list was excellent.
appetizer arrived at the same time as the entrée which was disappointing. The wrong burger was served and although quick to replace, it was so well done I couldn't eat it.
We were also the only table not served water. Might give it another try for beer list and outdoor dining opportunity, but overall disappointing expereince.
The service was slow. The waitress never checked on us under it was time for the check
