Took clients here for lunch. They live in the area and had never been. They were really happy with the food and will be back.

Usually the food is phenomenal, but this time my chicken was over done and the bacon was so burnt that it was nearly ash. I couldn’t believe they sent a plate out like that. Completely inedible. Also, the music was okay for us, but I’m sure someone with small children would be rather disturbed by the eff bombs in the lyrics.

Food was great! We had the crab dip and the cajun pita chips for an appetizer which we really enjoyed. I had the blackened grouper and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had a burger and fries and really enjoyed that as well. We sat in the bar and the service was wonderful! We will be back.

Mother’s Day Disappointment – Burrata BLT with Chicken I ordered the Burrata BLT with chicken for Mother's Day dinner, and unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. The salad was supposed to feature mixed greens, heirloom tomato (4 slices) ,warm pork belly, pickled red onion (there were no onions), red wine vinaigrette, and balsamic reduction. What I received was a plate with very little mixed greens, cold and burnt pork belly (definitely not warm), and a few pieces of dry, cold chicken. You can clearly see the burnt proteins in the photos. I smiled through the meal because I didn’t want to spoil the evening for my daughter and son-in-law, but I was truly disappointed. For a special occasion like Mother's Day, this dish should have been fresh, well-prepared, and served at the proper temperature. Sadly, it wasn’t. It should have never left the kitchen.

We were there for over an hour before we got our food and the restaurant was only half full.

Disappointed. It took 45 minutes to get our food and it was cold when it should have been hot.

We have eat here many times before and always enjoyed it, but not been for a while,it was very busy, our reservation was for 6 15pm we were seated promptly, however after placing our order the food took an hour and 45min to get to our table, and it was only warm at best.I find this wait unacceptable. The waitress did come several times and apologize. We ordered the dongnuts for desert, and they were very disappointing, over cooked and burnt. I dont think we will be back anytime soon.

We really had a great time. The outdoor patio has reopened and it was delightful. The service was great and the food and drink were OUTSTANDING! We had crab-stuffed rainbow trout that was out of this world. The mussels and chicken tacos, favorites of ours, never disappoint. Breakneck Tavern is our go-to restaurant in the area. We love it!

Everything was good, but the “over easy” eggs were definitely over cooked on both of our meals. The waitress offered to have them redone, but we were halfway through our meal before she checked back with us, and it wasn’t worth the inconvenience. An adjustment to the bill would have been nice, but none was offered.
