Our bread is delivered fresh daily from Nicolo’s Bakery in Montclair. Enjoy our traditional menu or come see us for weekly seasonal specials. We ordered an appetizer & while enjoying that, our meal came out. We felt very rushed, not enough time to enjoy either.

Great homemade Italian cooking. You feel like it’s your aunt or grandma cooking. Everything is made to order so you can personalize dishes. The filet mignon Milanese is incredible.

This was our first time having dinner at Breakin Bread. Our table was ready on time as we had requested, and the service was excellent. We ordered the meatball and artichoke appetizers which were outstanding. Our entrées were chicken Parmesan and shrimp with penne vodka sauce. We ended the evening sharing a lemon ricotta cheesecake, which was one of the best we’ve had. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others looking for a boutique type atmosphere serving outstanding Italian food. We live in northern New Jersey, where we have many tremendous options and Breaking Bread is in the category of what we’re used to up north.

It was our first time eating here and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

As usual, our meal at Breakin Bread was wonderful! Four of us shared 3 appetizers and we each had an entree. The Chicken Milanese was outstanding. I’ve had it before (since it’s so good) but tonight’s was amazing. Breakin Bread is a BYO but we were pleasantly surprised to find that they now offer wine & it was very good. Nice assortment of California grapes.

Was seated earlier than reservation, food was good, service was excellent. Prices on the final bill were slightly higher than on the menu, and there was no mention about that. Overall, it was a good night and will be going back

This restaurant has excellent atmosphere and delicious food. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming to us. Very close to boardwalk (few blocks).Highly recommended it as one of you stops when in Seaside Heights.
