   We are happy to see the outside patio has been remodeled but the inside courtyard really needs new furniture and a remodel. Those metal chairs are still so noisy and the chair pads are completely worn out. They ran out of the daily special, the pork chops, by 6:30 pm, and didn’t tell the waiter. They knew it was my birthday but do anything special. Service was a bit inattentive.

   After living in DFW for 14 years, my wife and I finally decided to have dinner at Bread Winners. For years we have been wanting to go but never have until this year we decided to celebrate Valentine's day early. We loved the ambiance and the old world charm of the building. It has a mix of New Orleans meets Boston feel to it. Our server Brad was very knowledgeable regarding the menu options. My wife had the chicken and waffles, which she enjoyed! And so did I :). I had the ribeye with asparagus. Although the ribeye was flavorful as you would expect, it was the thinnest ribeye that I have ever seen! Apparently, they cut a normal steak in half! Definitely not what I expected for $26 but again, it still had good flavor. I also had the Pear and Cardamom mule! It was nice and smooth! We finished the night off with the chocolate seduction cake for dessert.

   First time I had been to this location. I went with friends for dinner on a Sunday evening. Service was great, we loved the courtyard area, and the food was amazing. Come Sunday evening as you get a free dessert with entree, it’s a great value!

   I never miss an opportunity to eat at the original Breadwinners in Dallas. The food is always great, and there isn't a bad seat in the house. If you need a place to meet with friends or just want a great spot for date night, you cannot go wrong with Breadwinners.

   Loved our dinner at Bread Winners Cafe'. Everything was great, from the bread basket to the dessert (though the spicy sauce drizzled around the shrimp and cheddar grits is not for the faint-hearted, and did slightly overpower the delicate seafood). The best part, however, is definitely dessert. We tried two of their cakes - the birthday cake, and the peanut butter cup cheesecake. Huge portions match the huge, sweet flavours. A bold, proud restaurant worth visiting.

   Our experience tonight at the restaurant was most pleasant and enjoyable. The entire staff went above and beyond with their overall friendliness, presentation, and accommodating service. My mom had a wonderful birthday & our guests loved the extremely secluded and intimate dining experience. Thank you Bread Winners Uptown & Thank you so much to our exceptional server Mr. Arturo!    I took my family to celebrate my sons 19th birthday here. They all loved it! Neat little tucked away spot with vintage flare. Reminded me of New Orleans with exposed brick, old hardwood floors and bistro sets on the layered patio. My teenagers absolutely loved the chicken and waffles! We will definitely visit again and again!
