Perfect location after my sons graduation today. Loved the holiday, calm atmosphere. The staff were very polite, attentive, and gave special attention to our new graduate.
My only suggestion is to create a special menu for graduation day(s) as the food choice was limited. Also you can order alcohol even though on the lunch menu it doesn’t state that information. Coffee bar also sells wine & beer.

We had a breakfast with Santa that was both magical and fun all of the workers there made it very special and memorable. the food was also just as memorable as the hot cocoa. We Can’t wait to go back next year!

We had the pork shank and the fettuccine. The pork tasted excellent. The fettuccine was bland and the Alfredo sauce was barely there. The waitress barely checked on us and the first drink order of sweet tea and a glass of wine took more than 10 minutes. If the place was packed, I can allow for this. But when only 4 (us plus 3) of the tables were full, not cool.

The food was absolutely delicious, the service was superb. What a friendly staff that goes above and beyond. I felt genuinely cared for. For a thanksgiving dinner, I felt that the price ($40) was very reasonable and I had copious amounts of leftovers, which reheated deliciously. The butternut squash bisque was to die for!!

We arranged to meet our son here for breakfast on a game day. We were disappointed that the restaurant only had a buffet for game days but decided to go ahead since they were cooking omelettes to order. It was good, not fabulous, but selections on game days are limited, so we were pleased.

The value just wasn't there pertaining to the cost versus quality of food. The food was equivalent to a free continental breakfast at a Best Western - wasn't bad, but just not at the level I'd expect out of this restaurant. The fact this even cost what it did is pretty poor. Service was okay - but struggled to get a cup of coffee. Overall just not that great.

Overall very good, but it wasn’t easy to make a reservation. Phone messages were not returned. Eventually had to make the reservation at the hotel front desk.

Appreciated the more private area they gave us to dine.

They are lucky they have a captive audience in the hotel that will be more focused on the events on campus than the quality of the restaurant.

The restaurant was nearly empty the Sunday we visited. The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the apparent classiness of the hotel, but unfortunately, you get what you pay for. The service was noticeably slow and disinterested for Sunday breakfast in an empty restaurant. One would expect perfectly poached eggs in this sort of place, yet it was quite hard boiled. The server was accommodating, but it just shouldn't have been an issue.

If you're "trapped" on campus, try the grab and go in the hotel lobby. Otherwise, there are multiple better options in College Station.

Nothing special. Attempted to have lunch there on Friday 9/24/21 and Esmerelda asked if "we were sure we wanted to eat there?" I responded yes, why wouldn't we. Discriminate much? Made us feel very uncomfortable. so we left.
They close at 2 and it was almost 1. I guess they were trying to dissuade customers. Guess they don't need the business.

Call first!!! Made reservation after seeing open table and website menu. Showed up and found only a buffet, no menu . No mention of that on website , open table , or confirmation email. Buffet is similar to low budget hotel free breakfast, reconstituted scrambled eggs, greasy bacon/sausage links, stale potatoes, bread out a bag, few pastries, fruit cup, cereal. $16/person. Open table also said they validate the attached parking garage, but was told they weren’t validating. Manager did comp one of the five buffets to cover parking, but overall very dissatisfied. Call first to see if they are serving from a menu!!

Our waiter was very sweet...graduating Aggie...whoop! My baseball cut steak was ok, but the ribeye steaks were AWFUL. Four guys at our table ordered them and they were all gristle and fat. All of them kept apologizing because they were having to spit pieces back onto their plates....disgusting. Thankfully we're a demented family and found it hilarious. Just sucked to pay that much money for inedible food. The Aggierita was good, but too small. Hopefully things will improve once Covid stops affecting things.

Service was a bit slow on a not very crowded dining room. It took almost an hour to get burgers and the fries were just warm at best and the croutons in the salad were burnt. The staff was nice, just seemed to be under water. Asking for catsup took 15 minutes.

Terrible food and service. We waited 45 mins after ordering and still no appetizers. We asked for the drink bill wanting to leave and ironically the food arrived. It was cold and terrible. Then the appetizers arrived, The Queso was hard. And they charged us a full amount even when we told them to not bring the appetizers after the main meal. The hotel is wonderful but this restaurant is not.

This restaurant has an amazing location and vibe. The food is also really good. However, they only have one bar, that is upstairs, and servers have to go there to get drinks. It took us almost 45 minutes to get our first drink order and appetizers, and then an hour and a half before we got our dinner. The service was absolutely awful.

Service was very slow...almost 39 mins to get our soup and salads, 1 hour to get our meals. Two of the dishes were cold, and the Caesar salad was undressed. The waiter kept apologizing, and management offered to cut our bill 50%.

Food was pretty good. We ate the four course selection for Valentines Day. Food was good. The seating is not that great. We were put in a booth next to another table. I was closer to the other booth than the person next to me. Wait staff did a great job. Was not bad, we would go back for a special meal for sure.

Nice Valentine's Day option, only one I was able to secure about one week before 2/14. The ambience and service were good, but the food a disappointment. The plates were either too salty, or parts of the plate were cold (like they have been previously prepared and refrigerated and not warmed up properly), even the biscuits we got at the beginning were underdone. We really try to like this place (this was not our first time there), but we are never fully satisfied with the meals.

The food was bland. My wife’s meal was not cooked and had to be sent back. The waiter complained the whole time about the management. The steak was tough and lacked flavor. The lobster tail was very small, rubbery and cold. We were told they were known for their honey-infused fried chicken. The chicken was bland and tasted like bleach.

The menu was a preset menu for valentines days which you would expect to be their best dishes. NOPE. The only thing that had any flavor was the tortilla soup. Finally, we get to the dessert and it wasn’t even cooked! Raw fruit mixed some semi cooked fruit.

VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Overall, we had a good experience having a valentine's day couple dinner at Brazos-Proper Texas Kitchen. We sat at a 2 person table right next to the kitchen / serving station and it was loud. If we go back, I will definitely request a quieter table. The food was very good. I had the Wagyu Beef Brisket which was just a little too dry, but was fixed by adding more BBQ sauce. The potato salad that came with it was awesome. My wife had the steak filet and was happy with it. We each had the strawberry cobbler which was just OK for us but I could tell other people liked it. The pricing was very reasonable considering it was for a 4 course meal for 2 people.

We went for brunch on 12/29. It was very confusing because the main door was completely shut and we had to go through the diner to get to our seating. It was very empty, which is to be expected over winter break. The server was attentive for the most part. My mom got the pancakes and really enjoyed them. My wife got the chilequiles and felt as though they were prepared first because some of the chips were soggy and others were crunchy. I got the French toast and it was not what I expected from reading the menu. It was good, just not what I expected. I also wish there were alternatives such as turkey bacon/sausage or veggie sausage. We had mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. The drinks were very good.

Great experience. Wait staff was fantastic! The activities were great, and the crowd was just right for it to be intimate but not silent. Kids had a blast with all the activities. There could have been more food options for the price. It was your standard spread but I expected more for the price but all the included activities made up for it.

I hate to criticize this as I love A&M and wanted this to be a signature-dining experience. There was no host at the entrance, and upon seating wasn’t told it was a buffet or who our server would be. The server was very nice, but slightly confused. We had to coax the explanation of the procedure from her. The food was mixed - the short ribs were seasoned well and excellent overall. The snapper was supposedly blackened, but was rather bland. The smoked turkey and dressing was tasty, but the serving rings were the wrong style and stayed full of compacted dressing from previous guests. Same with the garlic mashed potatoes - the spoon sitting outside the chafing dish was full of dried out potato. I made a point to loudly slam the spoon on the chafing dish clearing it out to get some notice (like saying “ahem”). The potatoes were also not completely mashed. My wife reported she would hesitate to call them mashed. Green beans were tasty, bacon a little bland. The wide assortment of greens were rather wilted. The salad dressings and vinegars were on the opposite side next to the desserts (weird, right?) and unlabeled. A balsamic dressing was the consistency of chocolate pudding. The “warm bread pudding” was on a warming tray that they neglected to plug in. I plugged it in and let the server know - she was embarrassed and said they had forgotten apparently.

The food with a little oversight could have been good to excellent, and the servers were very willing. I believe even myself with no restaurant experience but as an owner of businesses could go into this restaurant and quickly bring it up a star or two. Attention to details and staff training. A disappointment overall, but still with potential.
